I have a silly question but I've just gotten into booktube and I've noticed a lot of people own the physical paper copies of books and then read them on their kindle. Why not just read it on a kindle and not own it or why not read the physical copy and not buy the kindle version? I feel stupid but I haven't figured it out when so many YTers do it.
A lot of people read on their kindle because it’s more comfortable but then get the physical copy as a “trophy”. A lot of people simply like to collect books so even if they don’t read it physically they want to display it on their bookshelf. I’m guilty of this lol
Hi reading on my kindle can be more comfortable or I tend to read faster. But I also like owning the physical copy because if I loved the book, it’s like a little trophy. Also some books, I read on Kindle unlimited or through my library on Libby, so I want the physical copy if it is no longer on KU or it gets returned on Libby.
I love slow burns, especially in fantasy romance. I just read a fantasy romance where the couple get together in the first book and I was like why are guys together so soon lol. I haven't read much of Check and mate yet (I soft-dnfed it) but I've really enjoyed Ali Hazelwood's other books.
You and Ellen are my comfort RUclipsrs 🫶🫶. I feel so happy whej either of you post!!! ❤
