I’m making my mum read the house in the cerulean sea right now as it’s my favourite book and also I’m currently reading in the lives of puppets! Very much in the TJ Klune world right now🤪 Id do recommend in the lives of puppets- it’s got the classic lovable characters and funny dialogue with fantasy elements but easy to understand 💕💕

Shark Heart has been on my shelf for months and I don’t know why I haven’t read it yet?? Will definitely add it to my February TBR. The House in the Cerelean Sea was one of my favourite reads of 2024.
Yay I get credit! (Even though I guessed it for the first cat/old man was either Ove or Cerulean.) But happy you had to read Shark Heart😊 It's so good and weird. I gave it a 4 or a 4.25, only had the GR star value. Only critique was related to the last 50 pages or so. Such a unique and captivating story and idea.

I do use it but I was trying to make it public the other day and I can’t figure it out 🤣🤣 I have been lowkey thinking of just making a new account so I can share it with you guys? Because me and technology are NOT friends and I can’t figure out how to change my account settings haha 😅🥰
@@_floharvey HAHAHA i can definitely relate!! i looked around a bit and i think it is in settings>account settings>privacy and should be at the top? (that is on an ipad, idk if it's different on mobile or pc 😅) i also started using Fable this year, their rating system is so much more detailed and fun and they do a yearly wrap up, i love it! it lacks editions of books though-that or my relationship with technology is showing 🤣 so i will use it along with goodreads this year, see how it goes. so far very fun if you're interested!

I gotta be honest, I didn’t LOVE Somewhere Beyond the Sea. It has less plot and felt like a rehash of the first. In the Lives of Puppets is pretty good, but doesn’t live up to Under the Whispering Door or House in the Cerulean Sea.

Tj klune does have another series, I’ve only read the first book but it’s called wolfsong I really really liked it personally ☺️
