Best video quality. Quick response time. Plenty of storage. And, it does hookup to Google Assistant. I love it. Can't beat the price for this level of quality & features. Also, for people worried about storage space, you can download clips & snapshots to your phone in case you need to save them for enjoyment or evidence. Excellent video sir.
I’m really impressed by the 2k quality, responses and how you can cater it to capture a range or type of activity/humans/etc.!!! No extra fees is nice. This is definitely a top contender for my rural home.
Respect for one of the most professionally produced reviews on YT. And your content, layout were top notch. You answered every question I had from the actual doorbell itself, to features pro/cons, and the app. Thank you! The only remaining question I have is: any idea if you can get Google Assistant (I have 2 Google Home/Nest Minis) to chime as well? I'm wondering if I can place the chime in my basement where I don't have a Mini, and then rely on my Mini in my main floor and Mini on my top floor to chime when someone presses the doorbell. Thanks again!
Thanks so much Danny, glad you liked the review! Yes, the eufy Security Video Doorbell works with Google Assistant so this should work. More info in my written review- bit.ly/2Tj7oeq
if someone steals the euphy doorbell, and you were sleeping and didn't download the video live, then they also have entire doorbell and all the evidence. I called Euphy support number and they confirmed unless you pay the subscription fee monthly there is no way to auto send videos anywhere. You have to be downloading the video live on your phone but if you are sleeping or driving or on a plane when it happens, you have no access to any video later. You could buy their homebase to put inside your house that has more storage but thieves breaking in can grab that and the doorbell and have all the evidence removed. So we are back to needing to pay monthly subscription like the other doorbells. I only mention this because I was thinking of changing from a Ring pro doorbell, but I would be in the same situation. If I was on vacation or asleep or driving when the incident occurred and someone was stealing the doorbell, I would have no proof with euphy without paying for their cloud package. The ring pro has lifetime free replacement if someone steals it, euphy does not. The higher resolution is nice, but I still would not have option of transferring video to someplace I own like my own internet storage which is not located at same house as the Doorbell, or like dropbox or something. So we are back to lifetime monthly fees again with Euphy.
Security Baron Appreicate that! As a HomeKit user, Eufy seem to be updating their products to support it more than, say, Ring, which is why I’m leaning towards this. Wish there were more options!
@@ohms Yea, HomeKit is extremely limiting. The only video doorbell I've seen that works with HomeKit is the Netatmo Video Doorbell, but it hasn't come out yet unfortunately: www.netatmo.com/en-us/security/doorbell
I like eufy more. It has person detection, which the Ring 2 lacks, plus better video and a better app. Plus it's $10 less! Here are written reviews of each: eufy Security Video Doorbell: bit.ly/2X6XQoP Ring Video Doorbell 2: bit.ly/2WVhv6m
I notice everyone has a ring in my neighborhood is the eufy not well known or is the ring just better would you still get eufy if they both cost the same?
Ring is definitely the best known video doorbell brand because they were first and are owned by Amazon, so they're heavily promoted on their page. I would still get the eufy even if they cost the same for the superior video, AI and app.
@@Raymond-ci7cl Yep, you can add multiple users on either app. The Ring Video Doorbell Pro is super similar to the 2 except it has activity zones, so eufy still wins. Here's my full review of the Pro: bit.ly/2Kp9Jin

In the install part of the video you didn't mention that you have to jump the wires on your existing doorbell transformer.
The price is not too bad, it looks cool, and the field of view is great. If only they let upgrade storage options.
