Cairns 2 is a joke. Blackout technology doesn't Blackout. Crossover poles need 20mm cutting of each end because its far too tight and is a real struggle putting up. The rear sheet needs an additional pegging loop sewn on it to prevent condensation and always throw away the tent pegs and buy stronger ones
We found it to be very good. We use it with the inner door open as we don’t like it to be totally dark. We have now bought the Cairns 3 and 4 to give a try. Very good tents we feel
You seem to buy an awful lot of things, tents boats, what do you need so many for, don't no how many small dinghies you've got, must be at least 3, you only need one surely, ❤😂
Three 😁🙈 No we have 8 Sibs. I suppose the answers is that you only live once and if you don’t spend all your money before you go that would be a fail. There is only one way to waste money and that is not to spend it. New and sometimes better things come along and we like to experience and try them. If people just had one thing the world’s economy would grind to a halt and there would be no innovation. We both had very normalish jobs but I am a Chartered Surveyor and we have earned good but not huge money in our lives. There is one very significant thing with us that should be obvious from our various videos that allows us to buy loads and also links to our view on not wasting money. We would be interested if you can spot what that significant thing is. I will give you a clue. It is not of our doing and most people do not make the link 💁
@@boatingsibbingandwandering3262 I like the look of your cottage where you live, thorpeness looks nice, but I prefer to have only one nice thing, not multiple, I have a nice 21 reg motorhome, 23 reg motorbike, 19 reg Volvo S60, one speedboat bayliner 185, you'll have to tell us the significant difference
The oex one is great in the pissing rain for future reference 😂
Many thanks we will remember that 😁
I have two OEX tents (Phoxx1 & Phoxx 2) and they are superb. Very waterproof and cosy
Choices choices, eh 😂👍
Or you could use both and have one each 😂
