Thanks for the mention mate. Great decision to get into wild camping and even more so for filming it for RUclips. Keep at it. I've never used a Terra Nova tent but supposed to be very well made so you can't go wrong!
Great Video, this is something I'm thinking of doing myself this year, not sure about wild camping yet, will probably use a CS with the Camping & Caravan club initially, keep up the good work 🙂
I reviewed the same tent myself recently, and thoroughly rate it for the price. The only downsides of the cairns 2 are the lack of mossie mesh on the inner door and could do with an extra peg-out point on the back. For the price though, it’s a decent enough tent.
I've bought this tent for my first time at Leeds festival. I will be camping for 5 nights but heard some complaints about the nightfall in this tent not being very good. I'm guessing it was good enough in your opinion as you said in the video but was just wondering if you think this tent is a good choice for a festival? Never been to a festival and the last time I camped was doing Duke of Edinburgh when I was about halfway through secondary school so im clueless haha
I think this tent will be perfect for a festival! I've used this several times since doing that video. I've used it on a few campsites, and it's great for that. The nightfall isn't 100% black out in the sun but it's pretty damn good. I'm not sure why it would get complaints, I just wouldn't use it for wild camping due to the pack size and weight but it's my go to tent for any other camping, so you'll be fine. I hope you have an amazing time at Leeds festival!
@@WildAdventures-UK Thanks for the reply! I have a feeling the complaints maybe came from people who are used to higher quality tents. For £69 you will never get the best of the best anyway. Since its my first festival I was just concerned that having a sub-par tent would make it unboreable but it does seem decent
Just to add, one of my other tents (TerraNova) cost me £650, but if I was going to a festival, I would take this EuroHike one because it is more spacious and for the nightfall. So doesn't really matter about price :)

interested to see what your journey is going to be like.

I agree, it's a nice spacious tent, and I like the nightfall blackout lining. I'll check your review video out shortly. Thanks for the comment 🙏
I’ve got the Cairns 2 Dix also and it’s a great budget tent, I took 25mm off the length of the bedroom poles as they were too difficult to insert.
Good idea, I always struggle putting the poles in on this tent!

@@WildAdventures-UK Good point. I wouldn't risk bringing a £650 tent to a festival anyways haha
