First night in the very unfinished Ford Transit Custom Buckle camp site Seaford UK
Well we were off for a night in the Motorhome but 20 mins before the set of at about 6.00 am some bloke realised the MOT had lapsed on the motor home so a very quick switch into the very very unfinished Ford Transit custom was in order. Her indoors was not happy but it worked out in the end and the motor home passed the next day 👍

Nice to see you on one of our local beaches, for a change.
Can I pick your brains … I took my Range Rover 2009 sport to a car garage to get my brushes done drive shaft bearing done and air suspension done .. I did have engine fault and low level coolant on the dash but car was driving fine .. they had my car sitting for 7 days tho and when I picked it up I drove away and lights came up on my dash and went into limp mode but it went normal whiles driving but the limp mode keeps happening… like I said my car was alright when I took it in .. what he causing the problem ?
Hello and sorry for your issue. I am afraid that I am not a Lan Rover expert but just someone who sorted this particular issue. However a lot of fault codes like you are getting can also be linked to low fuel pressure on the fuel rail. All this generally needs is replacement fuel filter/filters. Also it might be useful for you to buy the Land Rover plug in fault finding tool (google will find a few) so you start to understand the issues. In any event go back to the garage that did the work also and complain
I have the very same emgine on my T38ie. It is s beatiful engine and very reliable. The thing goes on forever before needing a top up.
When I saw this video, I thought, why don't they have the motorhome 😂
Quite. We were right ready to set off in the MH and then the MOT thought struck me. I wondered about not checking but it got in my head. It ran out on the 12 July. All done now though. The van however worked surprising well as it was and drives a dream. Got to find more time somehow to do more on it. 15 mins to swap over the essentials was quite a rush 😳🙈
@@boatingsibbingandwandering3262 well done on remembering
Thanks for your videos i love your contributions to the forums and advice, like you i love the 2 strokes and have the yamaha 15 do you think the 4 strike is the way to go ? . I have the t38 and would have thought it would have pushed the t40 a bit faster maybe a bit of tinkering needed.
I still much prefer the 2 strokes as they are so much lighter to carry and simple in terms of transportation and servicing. I have tinkered and will soon retest with the 20hp 4 stroke. I have also just bought a 25hp Mariner 2 stroke and will upgrade it to 30hp and that should whip along :)
Have you been approached by a brand to test products? Maybe you could test some of ours.
Hello and thanks for your message. We have not yet been approached in such a way but would be pleased to test some of your products. What have you got in mind and how would this work ?
Another new boat 😂
Well yes but once you have the other gear these Honwaves are relatively cheap. Boat only is about £1,300
@boatingsibbingandwandering3262 yes I did see that but that's at least three new ones this year, lucky Dennis 😎
@@fat_tommo_goes_boating The year is not over yet 😁😁
Just bought 1 for my step dad, haven't put it together yet, I read on Amazon it's a bit of a headache so come here to look, didn't find what I was looking for but I've seen it in action and I'm impressed 👍
Thanks I found this useful.
Glad it was helpful. Make sure you tighten then right up till the wheel stops, Then back the nut off a castle or 2 till it just spins freely
So relaxing!
Thanks Budgee. They are very good. They would be fun on the Thames where you go. Decathlon offten has a sale on these
I go to skiathos 3 times a year, it's no big deal, I've no need to put my videos on RUclips to try to make money

Nice. The Dorset Stour is my neck of the woods, bever been to the Suffolk one, yet...
The Suffolk one is the one that flows into the Orwell at the Massive Felixstowe docks
Great video. Looks like you had a fantastic time. I wasn’t sure which River Stour you were on initially, as we’ve got a lovely one in Dorset. Sussed it by the end.
Yes the one in Suffolk is lovely but can get very busy. Not been to the one in Dorset but may well at some time. Thanks for watching
Hi, thanks for the video. I have a problem with water intrusion with this model. Water appears even on flat days so it's not coming in over the tubes or transom. When accelerating and the bow of the boat starts to lift, all the water suddenly appears at the back of the boat. There are no signs of any damage, the boat is brand new. I had the same problem with the T38 and my dealer took the boat back under guarantee and marking the boat as "faulty". Now it's happening again with the T35 alu and the dealer doesn't believe that there can be the same problem again on a brand new boat so I'm stuck. Any advice? Thanks
Not sure I can help much on this. You will always have a bit of water in the boat that will indeed go to the back when you accelerate. I assume you are putting the bung in the boat the correct way ie from the rear
Looks great Dennis, I'm glad you got them so quickly and hassle free. I gave up with extreme when twice they gave me the wrong rollers, different from what I ordered. Obviously I got the guy who was having a bad week 😂
Yes I was surprised how quick they arrived and plenty of tracking information
@boatingsibbingandwandering3262 and I got to see catherine getting her leg over, win win 🤦♂️🤣
So rude to your wife
We have been married for 35 Years. It is how we are with each other. I think perhaps you don't get it. I can assure you if she did not like it she would have said by now
Lovely to see the new boat out. Have you still got the boat on the mooring there?
Nice bit of kit. We shall see how watertight it is. Looks good though.
She did great ❤
@@daisyb5646 many thanks she is way better than me 😳👍
Your video helped me a great deal, thank you. Great log splitter too.
I stayed in them apartments also we must of been same time so nice isn't it! 🫶
Why do you sit like that? Aerodynamics? Mine sometimes does 26 km/h, on rough sea 18-22. With 6 hp my problem is getting on plane. Also for some reason my prop ventilates with increasing the trim. At trim 0 it would ventilate the least, but be the slowest as the prop axis literally points at the bottom of the boat upwards... Maybe I'll be getting trim flaps with gas springs to help with getting on plane and allow better trim angle. For Suzuki DF-6 the horisontal prop angle is at the middle trim setting and with some bow rise it would and should be 4th trim hole for max speed and efficiency. - absolutely impossible without some kind of leveling aid.
👍
Do you tow with engine on
Yes always tow with engine on. It is a 15 hp 2 stroke so not to heavy. I also wedge a piece of wood tied on with bungee and jam it in position to limit the bounce. Depending on your engine this piece of wood can be easy of difficult to keep in position. They are very strong transomes on the Honwaves. If you were going to tow a very long way you could take the engine off and pop it in the boot of the car. You do get petrol smells doing this however
@boatingsibbingandwandering3262 thanks enjoy your videos
Great video , and really lovely to watch I’m thinking of buying a honwave so great to see the boat in the water 👍
@@ianwilson3814 the HONWAVE are very good. If you are wanting to inflate and launch each time rather than keep on a trailer I would recommend the HONWAVE T38 ie 3 with the high pressure floor 👍
Enjoyed this and your other Skiathos videos. Thanks for posting.
Many thanks. Skiathos is such a lovely Island and well worth a visit 👍
Great video Dennis. Started to catch up with your videos. Great quality filming. Amanda and I love watching them. Take care you two

I have the same problem, the message was that engine fault system and the car no longer has the power it had before is this big problem?
When you switch off and switch on again does the car return to ok again. If it does this video shows how you can fix the problem also it might be worth getting you fuel filter changed
Cairns 2 is a joke. Blackout technology doesn't Blackout. Crossover poles need 20mm cutting of each end because its far too tight and is a real struggle putting up. The rear sheet needs an additional pegging loop sewn on it to prevent condensation and always throw away the tent pegs and buy stronger ones
We found it to be very good. We use it with the inner door open as we don’t like it to be totally dark. We have now bought the Cairns 3 and 4 to give a try. Very good tents we feel
Well supervised , poor Catherine
Supervision is important 😁👍
Did that happen to work?!?
Yes it did.
@@boatingsibbingandwandering3262 thanks! Cheers mate 🇺🇸

Yes that ride is quite sandy and scary on the scooter. If you have a bike licence we think scooters are a lovely way to see the island if no licence I fear a 50 cc even 1 up might lack power .
Great videos we got back from Skiathos 2 weeks ago we also hired a 200 cc Sym great little bike.I do wish toasters and microwaves were provided it would make a huge difference to self catering holidays. We road up through Mandraki forest my god it was challenging on a scooter but fun all the same.🙏

When you put the boards in below how tight did u make them? Iv got a 2.3 sib and im looking at getting an air deck floor but it's off ali express a d im worries it's to small
Mine came from Ali express and the first one was way too big but the second one ok. It is just a gamble I am afraid as with most stuff from Ali express

@@mattschannel1502 quality was fine
