For the form, function and price, I'll take the 7T92 every time. Plus, I prefer the smaller 38mm case size. Closer to the original Daytona classic. 40mm and above chronograph case sizes are a dime a dozen.
Great video. I found the SND376 on Amazon for $63 so I think that tipped the scales a bit for me. I really like the SBTR005 but for half the price I couldn’t resist.
Nice comparison video. For my money the 8T67-00C0 (SBTR005) has two additional advantages: 1- I find the 12-hour subdial more useful than the 1/10 second; 2- The date display is somewhat bigger. Regards, JFB.
But there's something else: the minute sub-dial on the SND376 actually has two hands, one of which counts to 12 hours; so it's like you have four sub-dials in this movement.
Hi, did the SKX band fit correctly? I assume were talking about an SKX013 band? Also, do you know if the same SKX band would also fit the SND367? At a glance the slot for the end link looks the same on both. Thanks for the video.
Hi Andrew. The bracelet is actually from an SKX025 but yes, it's the same lug width as an SKX013 (20mm). The SND367 is also the same lug width - 20mm - so the band or bracelet from one of the smaller SKX watches would fit, but not from one of the larger SKX series, e.g. SKX007 or SKX009. Those are 22mm lug width.
Hi Josh. These two watches don't have sapphire versions as far as I know - that would push up their prices and I think Seiko is trying to keep these affordable. One alternative would be a higher end quartz chronograph, for example from the Seiko Sportura range. I think some of those have sapphire crystals, e.g. with the 7T62 movement.
Hi. No, they're not. They both have the same lug width (20mm) but the 7T92-0DW0 case diameter is 38mm while the 8T67-00C0 case diameter is around 41mm.

$63?! Wow! Yep, I agree, that's a bargain that can't be missed.

That's true - I agree with both those advantages. Thanks for pointing them out.

No it doesn't @@TheGrenadier97
Found the 7t92-odwo for around 20-30$ if converted from my country currency, already have it in my wrist
And it works? Wow, you found a great bargain! 👍

7T92-0DW0 is cheaper. But 8T67-00C0 has a cool looking ice blue version (SBTR029).
So an extra point for both the watch, and 8T67-00C0 still wins.
Thanks for the comment - you're right, that ice blue dial is so good looking. It's a shame they don't use it on more watches.
Ice blue is 40mm, not 38mm.
I've got the Seiko , love the watch but I can't get the second hand to move during regular use. Could you give me some advice on fixing that ?
Hi, do you now the lug to lug of the 7T92 ?

I have the 7T92. Love it. I put a thick stitched leather strap on it. The steel bracelet is AWFUL…
I agree - pretty much any other strap is an improvement!
Is there a variation with sapphire? Thanks for the video

How much was the 7t92 when it was first released? Cheers
From what I can find, the original price when released in December 2005 was US$75, so that would be about $120 today.
Are they the same size?

Yeah, I think I agree with you. The subdials especially - they really stand out.
