- Both of our 2020 GLC 300 was due for its first service which was service A.
I thought I should make this video to tell you guys what has been done to the car and how much this service costed and what other price options were available.

Can this be done at a private mechanic shop not the dealer ? I wonder if that would work .. I’m considering Mercedes GLC 300 but maintenance cost seems too much 🤔

All of this maintenance can be done at any reputable service center for about 40% less than what the dealer charges.
Good to know. what type of oil, filter etc. dealer use as compare to other reputable service center?

@@sheikmo Fram oil filter and Mobile One Synthetic Oil, as one example. Any reputable shop, such as AAA, Goodyear, etc, will use quality fluids and filters and all of the technicians are certified.

Lol don't use dealership maintenance. The best mechanics own their own shops. This is God awful advice, you can get all that done for literally a quarter of that with high quality/oem parts
At 467 bucks I could tell the dealer to blow smoke on someone else. I did the math for an oil change including oil filter, cabin filter, air filter, and change the wiper blades and check fluids and tires assuming you the person knows how to do this things total cost is about 140 bucks or less in about an hour of labor or less if your fast. If you do it yourself your savings will payoff. In 3 years that’s 420 bucks , that alone beats a rip off 3 year Mercedes maintenance plan.

You only have to get maintenance once a year. American cars are every 3 months. So that's 4 times a year and it's the same price as the Benz. You're just paying it all at once for Benz
Hi: Owned a 2015 c class for 7 years , now I’m going to replace it for the ne w C AMG 300 or the all new GLC AMG 200 that is coming for Nov 2022. Would you buy a C or a Glc. Would like your opinion as you have ride both. Thanks

Not as reliable as Lexus or Toyota but if you maintain it and service it regularly with a Mercedes specialist they are reliable. You can always check on the internet the most reliable engines and common faults etc

Reach out to one of the tech there see if he does side work at their home or your home . A lot these guys will do these job especially if they need funds .

Yes anything major is extremely expensive to fix
I bet you would still be under 1-2 year warranty depending on when the vehicle was first registered. I got mine just a few months ago with 4K miles on it and so far hasn't been any issues whatsoever. It has a little less than 2 year warranty left, if there will be no issues I will take a chance and drive it for another 2 years after the warranty expires. you can always extend later right before your warranty runs out if you find your car being a problematic one, which is very very unlikely imo.

2022 Out the door 61k cash base with AMG package.
@@zqsosa3756 If you get the GLC 300 4Matic SUV it is about $45K, it is a much better value than the over-priced and expensive AMG model.
$467 for an oil change and quickly glossing over some parts to see if theyre damaged... lol
$350 for first service the second service is $500

if you went to the Mercedes dealer then heck yeah, go to any reputable mechanic shop , it will cost around $500
that's the correct price, service B is super expensive
I live in Virginia Alexandria and for my 2022 glc 300 B1 service are charging $820 hell no I am paying that I am taking it to the a shop that do Import vehicles maintenance and they will charge me with parts and labor 489$ better than those ripped off from these Mercedes dealers

What a scam all the services are. They charge so much for what amounts to an oil and filter change and inspection. I’ve been doing all these things myself for the five years I’ve owned my GLC . If you know anything about cars forget about these huge moneymaking scams that Mercedes dealerships love to sell you. And they never stop trying to sell them along with extended warranty for as long as you’re on your car by email and text.

I just bought a 2021 GLC 300
and paid $2900 for 3 yrs maintenance.😰😰😰
That is one of the reason I started shopping out of the brand. They keep increasing the service cost every year to push the sale of prepaid maintenance. I could no longer justify the service cost
