I learned to accept my emotions as I became a mental health professional myself. At age 50+. It's never too late.

Transparently, I’m guilty of being the one who is dismissive but I’m learning to unlearn this! This content is so enlightening. It provides so much language for me personally and how to respond others.

Very informative video. So many people are not aware of these various attachment, communication and emotional expression issues. We need so much more of this to bring an understanding of how we can improve our relating. Thanks so much.

I relate to this, my mom told me I was never allowed to cry or be mad I could only be happy and smile. As an adult now and being in counseling I’ve slowly started to unlearn the programming my mom engrained in me. I can share my feelings more clearly and without feeling ashamed.

You're very brave for admitting you need help and you're not alone. I know therapy can be very expensive in certain places but try to search for free helplines in your area and talk to a trusted friend/family member when you're ready. It will get easier. Sending lots of love!

They should do sit-ups where the upper part of the abdomen is worked, with the legs raised and trying to touch the feet with the hands and its variants that work the upper part of the abdomen, they will see improvements quickly. That upper abdominal exercise will take away your depression and anxiety, it will also heal your mind....
