@@ShazWag Thats really cool, best two things about it are the good impact you may make on ppls lives and the life-long learning. It never gets boring.👍🏻
Transparently, I’m guilty of being the one who is dismissive but I’m learning to unlearn this! This content is so enlightening. It provides so much language for me personally and how to respond others.
Kyle you add so much to every conversation. I loved how you spoke on clarification of specific words! I'm going to think about that a lot when I'm communicating with my students and partner. Thank you!
That was fine information. The distinction between anxious and avoidant attachment styles, and helpful guidance on communication with others, based on these, but also just generally.
I was in the hospital, very anxious, depression was diagnosed in a mental health hospital, going through things from what happened child, now I'm a adult.on medication.isolate ppl a side.still remember everything getting night mares, struggling to sleeping, not it all relaxed
Very informative video. So many people are not aware of these various attachment, communication and emotional expression issues. We need so much more of this to bring an understanding of how we can improve our relating. Thanks so much.
I relate to this, my mom told me I was never allowed to cry or be mad I could only be happy and smile. As an adult now and being in counseling I’ve slowly started to unlearn the programming my mom engrained in me. I can share my feelings more clearly and without feeling ashamed.
Sometimes is safe to express my emotions in therapy but what about when those in your family are not able to mirror that behavior. How does you remain authentic while not triggering
What if we go back and forth? Like at some points I can't even tell what I'm feeling other than I'm not enjoying the experience and then other times I'm anxious and needing to over explain how I feel about stuff.
I have a horrible story about my life and things that has happened to me. I’m in need of help, but I’m ready to give up. I don’t even know if anyone can ever help, does my life matter? I love this Chanel but I’m lost
Your life absolutely matters. Even though things are hard now It will get better. I'm also going through a tough time right now. But I know I won't always feel this way. It will get better. Do one thing every day you enjoy ( reading a book, going for a walk, or watching a great movie) and one thing to brighten someone else's day. Keep going
You're very brave for admitting you need help and you're not alone. I know therapy can be very expensive in certain places but try to search for free helplines in your area and talk to a trusted friend/family member when you're ready. It will get easier. Sending lots of love!
My experience is the vast majority of people don't care about others & are extremely self absorbed! I've given up on humans & don't trust people anymore!
They should do sit-ups where the upper part of the abdomen is worked, with the legs raised and trying to touch the feet with the hands and its variants that work the upper part of the abdomen, they will see improvements quickly. That upper abdominal exercise will take away your depression and anxiety, it will also heal your mind....
I wish the therapist would slow down a bit, talking so fast gave me anxiety. Like she is rushing to get this over with, I know she is doing a great job in explaining and clarifying. She just needs to breathe and slow down. Geez.
Im not accepting shit, but the blood of The Living God. The world wants you to take responsibility + their bagged + crucifixion. Nope. @@puncharandomkarenmovement4084 Jesus is the “Great Physician” according to Mark 2:17. He came to cure the sick and poor in spirit to heal our souls and restore our relationship with God. In his time on earth, to show his power not only did he heal spirits and of course provide “the cure” on the cross of the horrible affliction of sin, but he also healed many physical maladies, including death itself.

I learned to accept my emotions as I became a mental health professional myself. At age 50+. It's never too late.
Your amazing and an inspiration to me. Thank you for sharing
Thank you for this inspiration. I'm in my 50s and in my second year of doing a psychology and counselling degree.

Make sure you apologize to everyone you have wronged. The work will be severely compromised without that.

I'd love to see an episode on: Polyvagal Theory; autonomic nervous system; brain-gut axis; stress; trauma.
I knew these things regarding communication/attachment style but this video reminded me to implement these techniques. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this!
Thank you
Thanks this will help me a lot 👍
I wish I had this information years ago!!
This is great! Thank you!!! ❤️

Whenever I got angry as a kid or upset about something I would always be told I’m not allowed to be upset or I’m nothing but a spaz
In Italian they call u a spazola

Great video
Can you please go over split personality disorder traits and signs

I am not sure an inability to verbalise their feelings and emotions necessarily means someone doesn't understand themselves.

Or if the child expresses any negative emotion or anger gets ridiculed for it horribly
I have depression and anxiety 😢
I really would like uploading how to treat this as professional
Clairification is important
