This was a very informative presentation and as someone who suffers from anxiety as do my parents it is much appreciated. One thing however is that I would suggest is that a lead idea and it's related ideas under it should be labeled differently, every point is tabbed with an orange arrow making it hard to differentiate when observing. Thank you.

Having faith in your ability to tackle whatever life throws at you and having the ability to adapt and adjust according to new information and learning more about yourself and the world without judging yourself for not knowing these things - all things I wish I was able to do, wish my parents had known about how to give me those gifts, but they didn’t have those things to give. Is there really any science behind aromatherapy- and there it is - as soon as I ask a question, you answer it - it’s almost like there’s something supernatural going on because this isn’t even live 😅. I’m very much inclined towards scientific evidence which has been reproduced enough times that it’s about as certain as we’re ever going to get, so it was probably the next logical thing that you would go to. I wish some more counsellors watched these videos! Either way you are providing top quality content. It helps more than you know.
I'm the first to say I'm not perfect. Yet everyone expects me to be. I'm so done with relationships. I'm tired of men controlling my life on top of micromanaged every moment of the day, I never had a break. I'm happy now. Just have an ex-husband stalking me at work, where I live. Threatened to kill me, but hey, not under his thumb....one down...free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty, I am free at last!
Thank God you are now living without Fear, Brave you,! Enjoy ur life , and you have a second chance to live your Best life, sending you love from Ireland 🙏🥰💕
Choose a different kind of man then. Dont compare your poor ability to gauge peoples character to actual slavery though. That's a really bad look. Once you grow up little boys wont chase after you and you are the one who made the choice to give so much time and energy to things that didnt make you happy.
And block your ex. Actually block him. Dont keep talking shit and blame him for being upset about it. Completely avoid him and odds are hell go away. Also stop posting to social media for a while. That will just give him a way to stay obsessed. These are simple things that you can do to fix your problem. Itll say a lot about you whether or not you take them. Best of luck.
I have friends who have experienced these controlling (usually narcissistic) partners. When they did as Brandon suggests and basically stopped feeding the “beast” like they were just not giving them any information at all - not even a photo. They get bored and go away (probably to torture some other poor soul, but there is nothing that can stop that unless they break the law).

Hello Doc Snipes, how are you? Here in Brazil they claim that treatments with Aromatherapy are not effective. That there are no established guidelines.
Thank you for watching the video and for sharing that information. Here is my question,... can it cure severe chronic insomnia.??.. that will cause a panic attack. I have zero panic during the day, no depression. severe chronic insomnia CBT.... where the panic happens at night of I can't sleep?.. I have been to over 15 doctors and specialist. Psychiatrists and testing. I have zero depression. I have no panic if I sleep. Klonopin was the only drug that works and I have healthy sleep habits. I have a peaceful home, a loving partner. I have heard thousands of of takes and followed thousands of suggestions. Nothing has worked past 4 hours and klonopin has given no side effects. 6 years of 1.5 mg nd zero side effects. My panic is about fear of not falling asleep. None during the day. Thank you for answering. No anxiety unless I get little or no sleep.

@@DocSnipes I feel like I am in a warm safe place all the time. I created that yes. My home is cozy and safe, my bedroom is safe. My loving amazing partner is safe. It is not it. I am saying I have zero fears except the fear of not falling asleep. I am confident in a room of 5000 people,... and I am an introvert. No past things triggered. Can CBT help with that..... True insomnia is the fear of not falling asleep or getting sleep. Not other things. My Psychiatrist said "maybe it would help" .... so maybe you have not experienced this.
I've noticed that even mild anxiety can affect your breathing and the pace of your breathing oh yes that's why we had to remain calm and mine I have to give all the glory to God because I'm a born again Christian so I like what you say there's a lot of good truth there but I give all the glory to God because he helps keep me calm so that when I do get anxiety it's very minimal if at all and he helps control my breathing so like when I'm donating plasma or something else I can get through and it's not an issue

Anxiety is common in countries which are used to getting things from other countries without really working for it, but for fools and brokers who facilitate their dirty mind games on fellow citizens. In developing countries, the citizens are used to work for things that they want. It is an inherent quality of many citizens to work for what they want and not be anxious, except for those fools and brokers in these countries who facilitate the shortcut dirty acts for them and are anxious "for them"! People are taught how not to be anxious and work for what they want, at a very early age, but for the cheapos who do dirty acts with a desperate desire to facilitate the rogues putting their own fellow citizens down to shame and projecting them otherwise, to satiate heir dirty greed, create shortcuts for "their fancies and their babes, as much as their mafia brothers"......in the garbs of deshbhakti.
Some argue that therapy can be toxic because the therapist comes across as condescending. How is telling people they have irrational thoughts & cognitive distortions empowering & validating? That sounds like gaslighting. Some argue that narcissism works. Maybe we should teach people how to thrive in a toxic environment (narcissism).
Why do we think that worrying is somehow going to protect us from things we fear. I suppose that staying alert when there’s a wild animal or a pack of wild animals circling your cave or whatever shelter you have built to protect yourself and your family back in early times might have been useful 1000s of years ago. Even then if you’ve done everything you can to reinforce your dwelling - no amount of worrying is going to change the outcome.

Loved this! Super informative. This is the most thorough, organized anxiety video i've watched to date. Highly recommended to all of my colleagues.
Thanks so much! I appreciate that.

Always struggled with social anxiety, got the feeling people wouldn’t get close to me because they thought I didn’t like them, I just wanted genuine acceptance
Thanks for watching.
Thank you for posting this. I am a counselor in training and I am struggling with my social anxiety client. She’s a young girl who is worried about what ppl think about her and often does the “mind reading” thing with no evidence they are thinking about her at all. She KNOWS her thinking is skewed but she cannot stop thinking about it. Idk what else to do and now I feel incompetent 😖
Thank you so much for watching. I am sorry about your client. What other practices from the video do you think would help her cope with social anxiety?
@@DocSnipes well the main issue is that she won’t do the homework I give her. So we may role play in therapy but outside she’s still going back to hiding 🙈
Psych is very complicated or at least can be🫤
This video is really good. I know that peri menopause is causing me this bad anxiety.
I'm like that with tornados. I'm from ca, having never been around them before moving to KY was hell for me, all day and night I worried we would be hit. We eventually had to move, to a state that has had 1 tornado in its history. I feel a million billion times better.
I grew up in Texas and when I moved to California, I was certain it was my fate to die in a earthquake. 😁
I can understand. I've been through a number of tornadoes and hurricanes. I'd rather deal with those than earthquakes.
It was healing experience. Thanks for sharing Ms. Snipes. 👍

I am so glad you explain how the medication works vs don't work. I enjoyed your lecture.

sTAR 23, How are you now? Be careful of what you feed your mind. To feel better reduce negative thoughts and overthinking. Avoid comparing with others, reduce negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed, avoid moving too much and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Never meditate with expectations but with awareness. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Observe your breath sensations before sleep, in college, at work, taking a walk, when reading, etc.etc. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a better life. Best wishes--Counsellor.
This was a very informative presentation and as someone who suffers from anxiety as do my parents it is much appreciated. One thing however is that I would suggest is that a lead idea and it's related ideas under it should be labeled differently, every point is tabbed with an orange arrow making it hard to differentiate when observing. Thank you.
Thanks for the feedback and watching.

@@DocSnipes how you explained in way that makes total sense, very detailed but easy to understand, like a blueprint if you will, and really easy digest it in a way I can go away and actually put a plan in action to help me, which I thank you and really appreciate your upload, I’ve subscribed to the channel and will watch more of your content, not shaw what’s going on in the uk, it’s they are using old data or they just aren’t qualified enough to actually even just explain anxiety, never mind form treatment’s that make a difference
Thanks so much!

@@mirelladlima5278 Life is tough. Develop your mental muscles. Never meditate with expectations but with awareness. Since many years I have made it a habit to observe my breath sensations even during my normal activities and I am feeling relaxed and healthy. Anywhere-anytime it can be done. The best part is nobody comes to know that you are doing the breath observing practice as there is no deep breathing or sound. Reduce watching negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind. Read my msg and do the practice regularly. Best wishes. Sr. Counsellor.

Hello Doc Snipes, how are you? Here in Brazil they claim that treatments with Aromatherapy are not effective. That there are no established guidelines.
Thank you for watching the video and for sharing that information.
There are some studies that prove aromatherapy helps those struggling with anxiety:

Trauma brain changing … so my question is can someone’s brains that’s been required bc of a trauma go back to normal ?
I always feel like somethings going to go wrong. I tend to habitably worry a lot and it causes distress, and I know this is something from childhood. Do you have any advice that can help me?
You should work on those issues with a professional counselor.
Fear ,loneliness, failure ,never married ,no sex,no drivers license because of alcohol, spiritual anxiety,no friends ,no interaction with family,
I am sorry you are going through that, Norman. I am grateful for you being here and am proud of the progress you are making (you may not see it, but the mere fact that you are watching a video and learning a new tool is a step forward). What would you say is your favorite tip from the video on reducing anxiety?
I appreciate you watching the video and thank you for sharing. Have you tried creating safety? I have a video on that: ruclips.net/user/livekHfs-PnmyXs?feature=share

The covid pandemic has added a whole new layer of anxiety these past 2 years.
Thanks for watching. Wishing you peace, health, and happiness.
