- I can finally give you a tour of my new house! This home is placed in the middle of the forest, close to a lake, and I truly believe it has a ton of potential! If I just give the house a little love, I'm sure I will thrive here!
Follow along when I show you the main house, the barn as well as the garden! In fact, there's so much I want to show, I might actually have to make a part 2 of this tour!

You should make the barn into a guesthouse. That way, you've always got an income and get to meet new people all the time and new friendships.
I've thought about it actually! The only thing I don't like about the idea though, is that I'm such an introvert! 😅 But another part of me would definitely like it as well! ☺️

Yes, for me as well. You can really tell the love they've had for the place. So sad for them and their situation. 😔 But he told me, when we met, that they had found a new place. I hope they'll love it there as well!
@@DanielErik Yes, you can tell they loved it just how tidy they left it, but also how loved it was. I'm so glad you got to meet them. I hope it brings you peace knowing they have a home, too. Have fun painting and decorating.
I would definitely use the larger room for the master and then take the covering down between it and the pink room and eventually make the pink room a full bath that all the upstairs rooms could share.
Love all the forest in the background and love, love, love the wavy glass in several of the buildings.
I am amazed at how much land and how many buildings you have on this property - this is so so different from what would be possible for a young single person to afford in England - without millionaire parents! I see that you will work on things for some time to come to bring all your present dreams and future dreams to be realised. It’s fantastic. Really stunning.
I am so happy that the old owners were friendly and gave you the key. I feel they now accept what is happening. Property needs to be lived in and cared for but it is lovely inside and out and reminds me of Jonna's. Look forward to seeing how this all turns out.
This type of video is really nice to see because it feels like a genuine house buy on a budget situation. You didn't just get the keys to a perfect finished home, but a work in progress, and I think we all need to see that type of thing from time to time. It can be easy to forget that homes are something you build, not something you just buy. Inspiring and lovely video as always.
The place is beautiful! I'm so sad for the previous owners, it looks like they really loved that place. I would have been so sad to leave had it been me. However, I'm glad the place went to someone who will love it just as much!

What a wonderful big and beautiful house in such a breathtaking location by the lake and forest. It really is idyllic. You could hold a dance in the kitchen - its huge! I love how Swedish houses always seem to have so many useful outbuildings as well. Wishing you many blessings and happy times in your new home.

Daniel! Wow. What a truly beautiful space. I am so very very happy for you. I know how much nature and the outdoors mean to you, but having a warm place to cook soup and cozy up and dream and create and feel safe and relaxed will give you the greater store of energy to climb as many mountains as you wish. And as you gave us the tour of your new palace, all I could think was...where is the bathroom???!!! Priorities, friend! And then you gave the big reveal.
So beautiful! Don't be afraid to start painting, you are your own worst critic, sometimes I hate the things I paint, but I love the act of doing it! Expressing yourself through paint is so much fun, just give it a try!

It's sooooo beautiful Daniel!! How could you not paint there as there's so much inspiration all around. Don't worry, from one artist to another, once you're happily settled the fear will dissolve and you will happily make a mess! Yes, make a mess! That's how all artists start out! Get rid of perfectionism as it blocks the artists spirit! Embrace the mess and you will be fine. It's only paint and if you start with acrylics, it dries in no time and you can paint over it!!! Love the houses, barn, greenhouse, garden beds and your close proximity to the lake! Wow! I'm addicted to paddle boarding. That lake would be perfect for it and it's a lot cheaper than a boat to start you out as a sailor! Congratulations!!!!

The moment you were at the front door, I saw all of the architecture of the porch, and could imagine such potential to this home! I think you have done well!
One thing that will always change the look of a home is paint. Paint is the cheapest way to get a fresh new look to your living space.
Once I saw you had a guest house, I felt that it should be made into an art studio/guesthouse. Such a quaint little building! (Oh and the art stand is called an easel in English.)

What a beautiful property! The house is in a good condition, all the other buildings give you so much potential for guest rooms, an art studio, storage, work space or anything else you can think of. It really does feel just as you describe it; the big step is already taken. I was so nervous to buy it, and to start leaving the roots I actually have gained in the village I am in currently. But now when the ball is rolling, it does feel better and better.
