The engine is tied to 60fps. So when you reduce it on steam deck, the whole game will slow down. Keep it at 60 and lower the resolution and graphic settings.
I actually looked at the performance rate there for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S And both of them are running at FPS 60 So how the Xbox Series S is underpowered
I own both Xbox series X and S and the Xbox. Series X is great with graohics but mannn that series S is amazing with efficiency. I can play my Xbox games on the go with the integrated Xscreen. I mean I can do the same with the series X but the series S is such an adorable console. So much kick come from such a little device. But I only play cartoony like games on the series S and the more graphically intensive games on the series X

I think the optimization is pretty ok it is a unreal engine 5 game and you know that unreal engine 5 games are like this no matter what its gonna be like this, but they can optimize it for a more stable 60 of course

The game looks the same on all these consoles lmao the real difference is when you play it on PC and unlock the frames from a mod on Nexus. PC is forever the best place to experience video games period.

Just one example as to why this is the case: I bought and pre-ordered this game for my kids thinking it would offer what the previous iterations of this series had on day 1, namely local split screen coop 2p PvP modes for all the maps and also for the tournament mode, the latter being merely a singleplayer / online experience in Zero. We are really disappointed to read that allegedly Zero's couch coop was an after thought and that local gameplay modes are meant to be so restricted turning them into mere shadow of its former self when compared to previous games. This is hard to believe. Whatever the case, my kids basically forced me to return to Raging Blast 2 (PS3) so we can have more map variety since that single map (time chamber) in Zero gets super repetitive really fast. I hope BN reconsiders their decision and fixes this officially in the live game. Previous and more weaker consoles of old were able to do split screen local multiplayer just fine, and now we have hardware much more capable than ever before, a much more simplified and more accessible process to develop these games included, and we are actually missing critically acclaimed features that we had in the past with less capable systems. This can't be right. Meanwhile modders have found a way to enable local 2p fights on all maps on day one basically and there are yt videos of that already. I hope BN doesn't take half a year to fix this then. Don't get me wrong, it's a good game, but it's incomplete in its current state and form.

Change the filters for an online match. Switch language to "anywhere" and change the connection to "3 or above" you'll find more matches.

The issue with steam deck is you lave to lock its Fps to 30 or 40 by editing engine.ini.
