Thank you so much for spending your time and money to cover this for us. 6 months is very generous. That said, the use cases are what we needed most - who cares if you can rearrange icons if there's nothing useful to do with them? Most reviewers get lost in irrelevant details and fail the big picture.
just started watching the video, but as a fellow Apple vision pro owner i wanted to leave a comment with my experience. I don't feel like i wasted my money because I knew I was buying into a niche early adopter product just so i could experience the new tech. That being said unless you have a use case for it, its worth just waiting for the next generation. My use case has been as my everything screen, I use it when I want to watch youtube on a bigger screen, when I am editing, and most of all as my defacto work monitor because I find being in the headset focuses me, and helps reign in my ADHD.
@@lowrider2756 I disagree, it works great for multi display monitor for PC and Mac and also fantastic for web browsing and many other uses so far. I am a longtime Mac user and all I own are mac computers but I just can't see the value in AVP.
@lowrider2756 it also does the vast majority of what the apple vision pro does. And you can connect it to any pc for productivity. You're paying alot for a maybe 30% difference on features
I use mine everyday for musical composition. It is wonderful to be able to see my full orchestral score as I am composing. The clarity is just fabulous. I am really looking forward to the ultra-wide capability that just released in beta, once it arrives for the general population.
If in the future the eye tracking was precise enough to where you could tweak individual knobs and sliders in a DAW like Logic Pro, it would be revolutionary. You could work more than twice as fast than having to adjust them with a mouse.
Just finished watching from my AVP and couldn't agree more! Comfort was my biggest problem until I picked up the Globular Cluster Halo strap. It's the best halo strap mounting design I've seen so far because it mounts as close to the body as possible reducing strain on the arms. Plus it leaves the strap attachment points free to pair it with the solo or dual loop bands. I use mine with the dual loop and it completely removes the weight of the device from my cheeks.
Comfort - Annapro A2 plus solo knit band and eBay battery holder that clips on the rear. For me, that was a game changer such that I can easily wear for many hours. Well done for giving this headset a go in another video. The super widescreen is so incredibly impressive and I suspect this will bring more sales. Putting my Quest 3 on now feels quite low quality, though this is where I game.
I got into VR a bit over two years ago, and I've been following this account since, but today was special, for an unexpected reason. I also work with Ragnarok Online OST playing in the background. Made some really good friends in that game, some of which I met in real life too. It was an important part of my teenage years, one that I will never forget. I remember my favourite city: Ayothaya, hidden gem. You brought much needed joy to this stranger's evening 😊 thank you and have a nice day!
Excellent video! Thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. With the marks on the battery, and face cover, it really shows you use it as often as you mention throughout the video and that's reassuring. Looking forward to future content! Thank you!
@@Naysy given you probably would be interested in vr gaming, I’d wait for the surreal touch controllers to release first and whether they are good enough.
My biggest worry about the Vision Pro was that not being fully in Apple's walled garden was going to get in the way of fully enjoying the headset. I still look forward to trying out the headset someday but I might have to wait for Apple to make it more useful for non-Apple ecosystem users.
I still use it daily primarly for gaming (GeForce NOW) and 3D movies (Disney+). After the official release of the ultra-wide screen I will probably also use it for work. Using the globular cluster headstrap, the comfort is no issue.
@ At the moment I play Star Wars Outlaws on GeForce Now and God of War Ragnarök I stream from my PC using Steam Link. Soon I will play metro in VR (when I get the controllers for the vision pro).
I bought the Globular Cluster headstrap and their magnetic factial covers, I no longer have to constantly re-adjust it, I can slide it on and off and the fit stays perfect. Also, very comfortable ( I have quite a small head ).
So far for me the AnnaPro headstrap has made a huge difference. Looking forward to trying out the V2 that just released as it's supposed to be more adjustable for different head shapes/sizes.
Thanks for your interesting review! Much appreciated. I am a happy owner of an Apple Vision Pro myself and I have to say I have not regretted it a single day! As Tim Cook said, it's for people who want tomorrow's technology at home today. It is amazing how perfect and magical it works. Regarding comfort, I highly recommend getting one of these extra headstraps (e.g., Annapro) and removing the light seal if you don't need full immersion. The field of view seems larger and nothing touches my face. The AVP basically hovers in front of my face and for many uses, it is the perfect fit for me.
Nice review Cas. I was happy to hear that you liked it. I picked one up used and we love it, but like you say, there are limited apps for it right now. I do stream Steam from a PC and that works pretty well for most, but not all games. The really great change was the recent addition of the super wide view. My wife works at home, and while it's only been a few days, she is loving working in VR, and can view local Mac and network PC screens all side by side. It really helps her. This may end up being the most important feature for us.
Lovely to see more people understand me! It's hard to explain all this without really using it like this. If you have some nice tips for me, let me know! Someone recently gave me the tip to use a tiling window manager like yabai or Magnet for the ultra wide. I can't wait to try that!
Hey Cas! Thanks for the very informative video. I have a question: When the so called budget version comes, do you think it will come with lower res? I would just consider that a huge mistake. IMO they can almost strip away anything else, but high res is just too important if you want to use the device for long hours of productivity work. What do you think?
As with other similar products this feels like the baseline and I’d not expect them to go below these standards - makes it easier for devs going forwards
It would be interesting to see an updated Quest vs AVP video. Yeah, I know you'll draw in all the kiddos who will talk about how the $300 headset blows it away, but I'd really like to hear your thoughts on using both in non-gaming, how the updates from Meta have come along, how it is to use for productivity vs the AVP, etc.
@@rodmunch69 it’s pointless. People can’t get their head around VR headsets being used for more than gaming, so when comparing a device that doesn’t do gaming with one that mostly is for gaming, the comparison would be wasted. Plus, without first hand experience, is like looking a comparison between LCD and OLED TVs through a phone that has LCD too. You’re not going to get why OLED is better, you’d focus on the price. That’s what people do with AVP, forget that is 4k oled hdr, that has 23 mln pixels, they go “Quest can do that too”, cause most people haven’t tried an AVP in real life (just like many haven’t seen 4k oled quality tvs).
I recently acquired both the Quest 3 and the AVP, and so far I love them both for different reasons. I feel you can customize and do much on the Quest 3. But after using the AVP, the lower resolution and contrast are definitely noticeable and (for me) hinder productivity. The AVP obviously shines within the Apple ecosystem, but lacks apps and customization options. I'm not counting of it, but I hope little by little VisionOS will improve just like HorizonOS has. And if Apple comes up with a non-pro\cheaper version that more people can afford, more apps will also definitely pop up. For now it is what it is.
Hey girl. I got the Apple Vision Pro with the highest hard drive space and the highest Mac book pro so instead of it be around 7500 I payed around 8300. I use my Apple Vision Pro to watch crunchyroll and Disney+ while on I the tread mill and to entertain myself at the gym. Beforehand I’d bring a try pod with an iPad on it. I plan to develop an app for the Apple Vision Pro so I was paying 200 a month for a unity pro subscription to use their Apple Vision Pro sdk. I think this is a big opportunity because the App Store is new so there is possibility to make money off selling apps in a non oversaturated market. In a world where every app market is over saturated finding a non oversaturated market to work from is ideal to say the least. You use yours for Mac book streaming a lot. I heard in the 1.1 update they improved it because originally it was hard to see for me but I’ll have to check it out again. Great video. You mentioned the battery life problem but can’t you just daisy chain more Apple batteries to the system? I was planning on just buying another Apple battery to daisy chain but do you have a third party battery suggestion? You mentioned that you were using one but not which one. Awesome analyst, great video.
You don't need another Apple battery pack and they don't daisy chain anyway. I personally use the Anker 737 power bank (PowerCore 24K) which is perfect and holds a lot of charge (several hours more) daisy chained into the Apple Battery.
I’m still happy with my AVP. I thought I’d be using it more of social thing using the persona, but that has gone to zero. I still use it for Zoom help sessions with students, but i mostly use it as a big theater for movies and stuff, which is fine for me as i was into that well before VP came along. Spending $4000 for that is no big deal for me as I have done is several times in my life.
I dont own one, but I'm glad to see apple is continuing refinement in this space. Personally, what would attract me more would be the form factor and materials used to make it much smaller and lighter. My demo wasn't a bad experience. However, Meta did it better with the Quest 3.
I need glasses with the lowest video lag, I want to open the camera app on my iPhone and shoot video, what do you advise through the glasses, it would be preferable for the camera app to hang in front of me, and not follow when I turn my head, what do you advise?
Generally agree with everything in the video. I am also bullish on EyeSight and had had similiar experiences with it and Personas. One of my favorite channels Cas & Chary.
I imagine most of the cost comes from the displays and lenses, which is a shame, because those are the parts I'd want to see trickle down to a mainstream device. Great displays and increased comfort and a.. less insane price.. and I may be tempted in the future.
Great content, as always! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
No, but I'm getting more interested the more use cases I see that add value and help me be more productive. Not quite there yet though. I don't need to work while traveling and use a triple Dell 38" WUHD monitor setup in the office. When traveling I never missed additional monitor space. My notebook is enough. But stationary I wish for more room on m,y monitors but still being able to use paper and a pen. So I am looking into MR solutions. Not sure if I first want to upgrade my Quest from 2 to 3.
Have you discovered a headset somewhere between the sealed-off experience of the “3” and the RayBan trade off experience? Price in a lower range would be great.
A few years ago I bought a gaming computer with an RTX3070 and the HP Reverb G2. I mainly wanted to use it for playing Microsoft Flight simulator and some games from steamVR. My biggest problem with it is that it is so terribly buggy. Some games are comletely unplayable. One in three sessions I have to reboot my computer because my VR screen freezes or does weird thing. So for my next VR experience I consider buying the Apple Vision mainly because it just seem to work all the time. And because I like the apple ecosystem (iPhone, iPad, AppleTV), it just works.
Love this review, I assume you are Dutch or at least living in the Netherlands by the NOS app, can you tell me a bit more about limitations using the AVP in a as of yet unsupported country? I am thinking of buying an AVP replcing my older iMac 27" to not have a monitor at home as I like being portable with the Macbook Pro, but hearing mixed things about usability in unsupported country. EDIT: Also considering the Meta Quest 3, would love your opinion as well which you would advise for me mostly using it as a second monitor, so I will spend many hours inside of it.
0:18 - Was using a HMD for that much of a daily duration each day a pretty common day to day experience in prior HMDs? If so, are there other HMDs that you found better suited to an 'All-Day' use case? (Context: I'm still looking for one to invest in!)
I’ve Loved mine as a favorite piece of tech for about just as long. Still blown away at the experience. I do also notice the heat and have an air purifier/fan that I have pointed in my direction to keep the heat off me, and the little subtleties of wearing do make a big difference on comfort, and sometimes I have it better than others. It’s an everyday device for me, but I do have to consider what Im doing later when considering when to use it, and what I can do to mitigate the mess it makes with my hair and face marks 🤪 Fortunately a hat works great for covering up both the hair and forehead marks. I really love periodically being able to change my workstation to a stand up one, with all my screens around me when I don’t need to type full paragraphs and can get by with just the headset without my MacBook. Copy and pasting or dragging files and images across the air while using my floating keyboard. Sometimes I have tasks that require so many apps and screens at once that a full 180 workspace full of screens being glanceable and usable without any juggling to put them at the forefront is simply a huge game changer for me. To say nothing of how great it is to consume media after productivity is finished. I do however look at all the vr games coming out for the other headsets like meta and get jealous.
Great video, love the feed back and all of your videos. I don't think the Apple Vision Pro is for me, the cost in Australia is $7,000 and for that price + $1,000 I could buy a Royal Enfield 350 Classic motorcycle, I know which one I would use more. I have been into VR on PC since 2017, I'm onto my 4th headset, Pimax 8KX and I have had this for a few years. I also have a PSVR2 headset, that I now use on PC and it is fantastic.
I really want one. I'm going to wait for the 2nd generation though. Hopefully it is lighter, more powerful, and less expensive. I hope they don't get rid of the eye-tracking though; it's a big draw the OS experience.
My VR activity has really fallen off in the last 6 months or so. My piano practice has really taken over my life and leaves much smaller chunks of time and energy for VR. Regarding the Vision Pro, I initially rejected it since it looked like I wouldn't use it sufficiently to justify its hefty price tag. Additionally, like you I would need to purchase a recent MacBook even though I already have one, a very old one. Also I'm somewhat a computer professional though no longer a professional and tend to make use of all three OSes though with a strong preference for linux. But with my current situation with the piano it's a definite nogo for the device. However it is very tempting, lots of aspects I'd like to explore, maybe someday.
I use it everyday, honestly the best device I owned in a long time… most people have done only a demo or not even that, this device takes critics mostly for the price, but reality is, it’s amazing, and only a gen 1. Clearly not for everyone, but all apps I need are there, so I get everything I need and more. AVP is the only way I game now, can’t give up the 4k oled 100” display and the immersion!
Hi Cas, no, I don’t think you wasted $7,500 on the Vision Pro. I say this because first off you are a RUclips influencer and content creator who’s channel focuses specifically on VR/AR/MR technology and content. So naturally you would purchase the Vision Pro to review it, and use it to make RUclips content with. That alone would help build up your channel and hence your business and brand. I am sure you have made a nice chunk of change back at this point from all the views, likes, and subs your Vision Pro videos have earned. And deservedly so. Also since you not only use the Vision Pro for your RUclips channel but like you show in this video, you use it daily for work in many use cases, if the laws in your country are anything like they are here in the states, you could claim the Vision Pro as a tax write off and get back a nice chunk of change in the form of your tax returns. In any case you should be able to make your money back relatively quickly. I personally would not benefit from buying a Vision Pro as I am retired so I don’t work anymore, and it is priced way out of my budget. I have a nice 4k LG tv, and a mid-tier gaming computer that serve me perfectly for watching media content and the Q3 to handle all my VR gaming needs. I have no need or use case for the Vision Pro and would not buy or use it even if it dropped down to $995.
I got mine for half retail price like new used, so its absolutely worth it for me. I mainly use for multimedia, which is absolutely awesome on it. Plus the immersive videos are great, the spatial photos are amazing, and not talked about enough. And next month i get built for AVP controllers from Surreal and that will open up all the VR gaming i need off my PC. I had Quest 3, which is nice, but i wanted the next level and i got tired of LCD displays, they just dont do it for me and i didnt want to wait years still for standalone OLEDs.
I love the idea but I'm not into the apple ecosystem so, apparently like you, I'd have to buy more than just the headset. Which, by itself, is super expensive when you can get at least most the way there with a quest 3. It seems like a really cool idea but it really needs to get cheaper and have more than utility to push it for me. More competition here is good but I'm not seeing apple really trying here. It needs to get cheaper and I'm honestly wondering... does it "really" need to hook up to their laptop to have all those features? Could they sell it as an all in one? That would be something to think about but right now it seems to be not quite there.
WHat annoys me is that i still can't have audio playing out of 2 windows at the same time. It just pauses one as soon as I play the other. Its super annoying because I just want to leave something playing in the background at low volume. Even Meta's browser can do this on the quest but my $4000 headset can't do this.
Yup. Apple ecosystem only. Over 10 years my friend and his wife have spent $15000+ on iphones and Macbooks. For me and my wife, it's around $3000 for phones and laptops. It's a bit crazy. When my friend bought a pair of iphones 8's, over the 2 year contract they paid $3800 more then me and my wife. That is really crazy. We did the same things on our android phones, but didn't have to pay Apple tax. Apple tech is expensive.
For 20 years I quaffed at Apple users and built my own PC’s. In the late 00s, I bought a MacBook Pro and have never looked back. They simply work and when they have not (with one exception) I have had a good resolution. I lost count of the number of Windows and hardware issues that I had to sift my way through. It was fun but as I do technology in my job I ironically found myself demanding more stable tech at home. The Apple Vision Pro has been the most expensive kit but it’s by far the most impressive Apple Tech. As this RUclips states, there are problems, however, the Quest headsets have problems as well.
Yes exactly, wow. It's also crazy how they kinda force you too if you find something very useful. But you switched to Android I see? I was 10 years iPhone, MacBook, then 10 years PC and Android. Now doing a combo with AVP but damn, the seamless compatibility is really really nice. I missed that.
@@CasandChary As stated, you pay and pay for that compatibility and your only choice is the Apple Eco system, so you wait for stuff that other computer platforms can already do. As example, I think Apple is far behind on Smart Home stuff and it is difficult to find compatible products.
@@NeilLavitt Yes, Quest headsets have problems too, but at 1/10 the price. Let's praise Apple for setting a VERY high price point for advanced tech. The question is not "Is the Vision Pro impressive?", the question is "For that kind of money, is it impressive?" Does the $4000 price for the vision pro excuse the problems? Um no?? Comparing the 2, I think at $400 one can excuse a lot. I'm not sure what kind of PC work you were doing, but in 30 years i've had nothing but stable self built Windows PCs, at ridiculously inexpensive prices as compared to any Apple Product.
8 hours🤯?!?? I’m a big guy, 6’3 and have a massive head but the weight of the vision pro brought me to my knees after 15 minutes of use & 45 if push through the torture. I need to know how on earth people can wear it for 2+ hours, let alone 8 hours
@@CasandChary Commented before I saw the end lol however i’m still not convinced 🤔. Great review btw. Remember watching your initial review as I was waiting for delivery of my vp. Will eagerly await the hopefully drastically lighter second gen vp
Apple Vision Pro is great I enjoy it most people hate on it with out actually trying it in person despite price I enjoy mine very much it’s like comparing apple to a banana Apple Vision Pro is truly amazing don’t hate on it till you fully try it yourself to those who haven’t
Its a lot money for normal person. For you with some business, it's possible for productivity. But there are creators who don't like headset and prefer classic way: monitors. No struggle with weight, no pain in neck and it works fast. For 3500 you can buy nice monitor too... Separated battery, not much 3rd party solutions for comfort. It's also more vulnerable thing, drop it and front will already break. Not really made for gaming. It's still quite expensive thing. So i am not interested in it.
As I'm not intertwined in the Apple ecosystem, and retired (so no work reason to have it), this would not be useful to me. I did test one when it first came out and it was beautiful, but the cost is prohibitive. I've very happy with my Quest 3. I use it for watching TV and mostly gaming. It's perfect and the cost was right. I do hope though that Apple keeps at it and maybe in the future they will come out with a true consumer model that would be of more interest.

Meta Quest can do about 90% what Vision Pro can do (And even some Vision Pro can't) while costing 10 times less. Apple has to lower the price substantially for it to become a widespread success. But i am sure they will with the next generations.
Great vid!! Wish this was more affordable for me. I'm curious though if $7500 is affordable for you just from youtube income and sponsors?? Geeesh. Good for you! ❤❤
I've seen people try to get the worth out of the headset . The best I saw is a RUclips that reviews products but films everything with his apple pro and that is a smart solution to film things. It's sadly not for me but I understand for apple users and productivity it's a very good device. And eye strain. I know a streamer with a quest 3 that goes 42hours lol and no problems. I also have 0 problems with looking at the screen for a very long time nomatter what headset
You know, I never thought of that. The battery puck seems fine... until you get into women's fashion and realize that there are almost never pockets. You'd need to be wearing a purse or something. Makes me wonder if anyone has tried a hack by adding it to the back of the strap of the headset itself as a counterbalance (battery probably heavier though).
Apple is essentially beta testing AVP on the "open" market. It's not a money making operation.... yet... but as the technology matures and practical uses become clearer and the entertainment options become richer and even more "intuitive", Apple will have developed a product ready for the Mass-market at Mass-market pricing. The price of the current AVP does not even scratch the cost of the AVP Division...it's not meant to....but it will start to pull its weight more on the next, more pocketbook-friendly version.
I tried Vision Pro in Sydney for the first time, and my experience was full of disappointment. As someone who uses other VR headsets on a daily basis, Vision Pro was too heavy, and the display quality was not worth wearing it while resisting the pain on my forehead. Yes, Vision Pro can deliver the best experience in terms of "Spatial Computing", but a simple laptop in the real world was much better in my opinion. I highly doubt that this spatial computing is the right direction for Apple to explore, and I think they need to push AI strategies more.
Apple just needs to use lighter materials and reduce the size significantly. They have a good starting device, it just needs to hit it's "iPhone 4 moment"
I wish I knew more people who had an AVP but it also is a very lonely system. Not alot of multiplayer options out there. I hope Bigscreen comes to AVP. One of the reasons I bought an AVP was the ability to record spatial video but there isnt a way to share the videos to the world.
Agreed but will give Apple this much, The AVP has pushed Meta to start really start pushing the quest now. It's almost there in terms of usability of the AVP. Quest remote app works fine with Mac plus if I use immersed I can take my iPhone, Mac and my pc into the Quest 3. The future is bright but an Apple Vision air needs to come out to make apples VR dream to become mainstream.
I have both quest pro and AVP. Don't get me wrong, quest 3/pro are great devices. But they're not as useful all round as AVP. They are mostly good for gaming, with everything else feeling "meh", impressive but not visually comfortable (res too low). AVP is worse for gaming (better quality for PCVR but worse connection process, cool and interesting casual games but nowhere near the VR game library of Quest), although the visuals are higher quality, but overall it is a far more useful device. When you get one, what you don't expect and don't realise is that you will actually use it for far more than you would a quest, because it's just plain a better view in the headset and the UI and interface are far superior.
Welp. I don't have vision pro, but I don't ever haven't had pressure marks on face since I use my quest 3 without facepad thanks to BoBo, I also use my psvr2 without Rubber...

@@Naysy given you probably would be interested in vr gaming, I’d wait for the surreal touch controllers to release first and whether they are good enough.
Your persona looks great! One of the most realistic ones so far.
My biggest worry about the Vision Pro was that not being fully in Apple's walled garden was going to get in the way of fully enjoying the headset.
I still look forward to trying out the headset someday but I might have to wait for Apple to make it more useful for non-Apple ecosystem users.
6:33 - "My waifu", why "My", learn to share! 🙃 We miss her.
Incredible that you're still running the stock headband, you need a halo style aftermarket one instead...
I tried.. wasn't great for me. Have yet to try Globular Cluster tho as this setup with two velcro works very well for me
@@CasandCharyThe globular cluster headstrap is the best so far for me. The other didn‘t work for me neither.
Question. Do you feel you used it more because you're a RUclipsr that covers XR? as a RUclipsr myself, I tend to use tech more than normal.
I still use it daily primarly for gaming (GeForce NOW) and 3D movies (Disney+). After the official release of the ultra-wide screen I will probably also use it for work.
Using the globular cluster headstrap, the comfort is no issue.
Oh come on! Gaming? What games? Let us know. You know the saying.
I like hearing about everything VR related. I could sleep peacefully, listening to stuff like this.😊
Keep it up, Cas. 👍🏾
That's such a lovely compliment, thanks for watching and have a good sleep 🫰🏼
@CasandChary (purrs softly) Meow 😽
So far for me the AnnaPro headstrap has made a huge difference. Looking forward to trying out the V2 that just released as it's supposed to be more adjustable for different head shapes/sizes.
I found the A2 a small improvement
@@CasandChary Tip: if you run the Bora Bora environment, the super wide screen can be used as a sail for wind surfing. 😉
Is the docking station charger convenient for traveling?
Yeah but I hear that they are considering a cheaper device with lower resolution.
I was wondering the other day how a soundbar would look like with my tv.. and Apple has basically done it. Nice!
I still don't understand what is the point of this thing?
Simulation holograms and productivity work on a mac. Beyond that, it works similar to most tablets, but with nice resizable displays.
@@smittyvanjagermanjenson182 Thanks for the explanation!
@@lashlarue59 as with any computing devices, you open apps that do things you might need. If not, you do not need a device.
You can have 20 screens floating around your surrounding. If that's what you want
I like the way how you are talking very clear and informative
I dont own one, but I'm glad to see apple is continuing refinement in this space. Personally, what would attract me more would be the form factor and materials used to make it much smaller and lighter. My demo wasn't a bad experience. However, Meta did it better with the Quest 3.
VR face is why we need Orion to be released
I need glasses with the lowest video lag, I want to open the camera app on my iPhone and shoot video, what do you advise through the glasses, it would be preferable for the camera app to hang in front of me, and not follow when I turn my head, what do you advise?
Generally agree with everything in the video. I am also bullish on EyeSight and had had similiar experiences with it and Personas. One of my favorite channels Cas & Chary.
Preach 🙌
I imagine most of the cost comes from the displays and lenses, which is a shame, because those are the parts I'd want to see trickle down to a mainstream device. Great displays and increased comfort and a.. less insane price.. and I may be tempted in the future.
Great content, as always! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
I'm glad i'm not the only one who takes vr headsets into the bathroom with me. 🤣
Quest 3 has much cleaner image and was a large step up in clarity compared to the Quest 2.
I love my AVP! Awesome review! Agreed with a lot of points! Great job!
❤It's crazy what work you put into the video. Well done.
Have you discovered
a headset somewhere between the sealed-off experience of the “3” and the RayBan trade off experience?
Carrying around that battery all the time looks like a stoma bag.
At the moment it looks like this is the future solution - not only for the battery but also for the compute.
The second gen with the M5 chip should be interesting
Great video, love the feed back and all of your videos. I don't think the Apple Vision Pro is for me, the cost in Australia is $7,000 and for that price + $1,000 I could buy a Royal Enfield 350 Classic motorcycle, I know which one I would use more. I have been into VR on PC since 2017, I'm onto my 4th headset, Pimax 8KX and I have had this for a few years. I also have a PSVR2 headset, that I now use on PC and it is fantastic.
You certainly did. A Mac mini (M4) for $599 is capable of doing 99% of the same tasks.
Have you tried any of the 3rd party comfort options? There are A LOT of halo designed ones made specifically for Apple Vision Pro on Amazon.
I have, two Halo ones I didn't like. They put too much pressure on my forehead
it’s like the ipad at the start when it had no native apps. i still feel like the ipad doesn’t have that many grea apps
I really want one. I'm going to wait for the 2nd generation though. Hopefully it is lighter, more powerful, and less expensive. I hope they don't get rid of the eye-tracking though; it's a big draw the OS experience.
They won't drop eye tracking. They opted for no physical controllers, so eye tracking makes up most of the precision for interaction
That VR face reminds me of my Quest 1 when wearing that for a while lol
The quest 1 was really a brick on the face.. 😅
As for price, it's selling for half of what the original Macintosh sold for, in today's dollars.
TLDR; Yes, you wasted money on it.
Buy a strip that comes with a battery on a back of your head. It will help with perceived weight
Still 2x too expensive
What a time to be alive in tech.
@ perception of value is different for different people. We’re clearly very different. As long as you’re happy, that’s all that matters.
8 hours🤯?!?? I’m a big guy, 6’3 and have a massive head but the weight of the vision pro brought me to my knees after 15 minutes of use & 45 if push through the torture. I need to know how on earth people can wear it for 2+ hours, let alone 8 hours
I showed you exactly how lol. It surprised me too that I could do it tho!
It's a great device at a price that's a first gen price for Apple. Loved watching movies on it. But that's really the only thing I used it for.
I forgot that headset existed . You really don't hear much about it anymore
Im curious. If your main work wasn't reviewing VR tech on RUclips, would you still expend that much money on a headset?
Alleen al je overstap van een Windows laptop naar een MacBook maakt de prijs meer dan goed. 👍
Really too expensive even for Apple enthusiasts. It's hard to justify in a family's budget unlike say a laptop.
Very good review though. 👍
Thanks Cas and Chary XR.
if these was more affordable, everyone would own one.
I’m getting this in December. I’m an Apple head. Can’t wait!
I have bought Acer predator spatialLAbs it is amazing for all 3D lovers in some titles even better than virtual headsets. great channel
yes you did
I’m in your closet
Great vid Cas!!!!
Love Ragnarok!!!
Yes you did.
I also have 0 problems with looking at the screen for a very long time nomatter what headset
if they opened it up to pcvr and also allowed virtual display with ipads it would be amazing
It holds a historical value, maybe.
Buy one, keep it in the box, and sell it in a decade.
I'll wait until it's $500.
Too front heavy and don’t like being teather to battery pack…but it nice ahead of time.
Yeah you wasted the money , you could’ve bought 7500 tacos 🌮 😮😮😮
If they are birrias, you're right 😆
I tried Vision Pro in Sydney for the first time, and my experience was full of disappointment.
8:52 same issue with the quest 3. I sometime hesitate to use it for the same reason 😆
I wish I knew more people who had an AVP but it also is a very lonely system. Not alot of multiplayer options out there. I hope Bigscreen comes to AVP. One of the reasons I bought an AVP was the ability to record spatial video but there isnt a way to share the videos to the world.
The Meta Quest 3 is such a better option and 3,000 cheaper. It can do everything that AVP can do plus it's also great at gaming.
Apple is the better, but all things considered quest is the sweetest.
Agreed.
@@michaelbrownlee9497 No it is not.
Did I Waste $7500 on Apple’s Vision Pro - YES.
Welp. I don't have vision pro, but I don't ever haven't had pressure marks on face since I use my quest 3 without facepad thanks to BoBo, I also use my psvr2 without Rubber...
Bobo is so great. Wish they made one for Vision Pro. Altho, I also with the BoBo wasn't so big and heavy as I like the AVP portable
Yes! You wasted money on on apple.
