Having seen a few of these videos, it would be really interesting to follow the process of specifying, designing, building specialist vehicles like these.

Tubeless + airliner’s is an interesting combination. Would love to see a video on installation, rolling resistance, puncture testing, compatible sealants, etc.
it just makes your bike heavier . look how many tubular wheels are on a rack and how many tubeless are on a rack ? do you really think pro riders are bothered to use tubeless ? they may use it in some races that involve lots of gravel sections suck as strada bianche . tubeless are for nubes as disc brakes
Team trucks and busses are always interesting. I will definitely try the trick with the degreaser and the brush. Shimano should invest a few grams and make the roadie brakes more like the MTB brakes. My XTRs need practical no service. At some point they start to squeak and usually I‘m on the metal spring between the pads at that point and they need new pads.
Why is jet washing such a big topic with cyclist?! If you damage your bike with a jet wash, you are either to dumb to handle a jet wash correctly or something was not okay on your bike in the first place
I remember when I first started working as a team mechanic, in the late 80s for Team GB. There were no 'team bikes' everyone had a different bike, if someone had a puncture you had to send the punctured tubular back to the federation as 'proof'. It was grim. Working for a Pro Team was a revelation, but still pretty shitty.
very interesting video from really the inside of a grand tour the question i have now is whether other teams have similar size maintenance trucks, and similar procedures
Ineos have a bigger truck I think but they have a massive budget which is why they're always expected to win (even though they don't win a lot based on the recent races I watch but I guess there's a limit to how much advantage you can get with money.
Wow! The bike maintenance area looks clinical as! We have a room for skin surgery- removing skin cancer growths, this looks as bright and clean. The only difference is our ceiling mounted LED adjustable spotlight.
Now that is how all commercials should be made - colour, movement, informative, fast paced - thoroughly enjoyable 😉 The bar has now been raised for the toilet paper ( bog roll) industry..........

Thank you Ollie, for addressing the jet washing...we were cringing. But I suppose if the same Mechanics are washing and servicing the same bikes, they will stay on top of bearing service too. (still won't do it to my bikes)😆
There is a lot of pressure put on the mechanics since anything that goes wrong in the race reflects back on them and their sponsors products. I don't know if electronic shifting has an element of care or if it is so reliable it isn't a problem.
Just a question I always wonder. Do the riders use the same bikes every day of the tour? Some rumor that the big teams have riders using brand new custom bikes for every stage of the tour.
Bought MucOff Dry Lube and it's the worst lube ever. Stays on the chain only for like 20km, then the chain starts to squeak. Going back to Shimano branded lube.
