I love the Piper Cub. My Dad soloed in a Cub in the 50’s. He later became a Missionary pilot in the Peruvian Amazon. I fly with him all the time and later became a pilot myself. He passed away in 2010 at 82 years of age. May he rest in peace.

May I ask what the steel frame material is? Is it chromolly or some other hugh grade/lightweight steel?

4130. Piper originally used 1025 along with some 4130.

100 hours a year is the average ppl fly. great planes like this cost over a $100 an hour for flying. most of these stol planes are great planes but so is the gorgeous stack of $100 bills.
