Hi Lewis. Just wanna start off by saying that like Peter Finch, you are also my swing crush. Anyway immediately after i watched this video i was inspired to go to the range and test it out. I must say something seems to have clicked and i'm hitting the balls much more consistently, even while using the banes of my existence aka 6i and 5i. I could never figure out how to transit from my takeaway to the top of the swing seamlessly. I've watched other channels where they described the top of the swing with the same mechanics that you mentioned, but they never mentioned to keep both hands feeling like they are level. Thank you very much. Suddenly i'm enjoying golf again!
I could not be happier to read that this video made you enjoy your golf again - that's the reason why I started doing more RUclips! Look out for more teaching and playing videos for you to enjoy 🙌
Hi Lewis, I've been a fan of your golf swing for awhile now. Just wondering if you could make a video on how to work on the separation during the downswing. Is there any drill or keypoint that should focus on while practicing at the range. Thanks
Another top video Lewis, and one I'll be tryin in the dining room (with the alignment stick/steering wheel analogy) and also down at the range because my ball striking is somewhat troubling. I'm either very fat or very thin, with my launch angle/distance being no way near where I was six months ago...
@lewissparrowgolf thanks for the reply. If I'm honest, it does feel a little too shallow, so I'm trying to work on getting the club a little higher, and then following the takeback plane, through to striking, keeping it as neutral as possible
@@lewissparrowgolf not too much with irons, driver more. But inconsistency in strike depending on timing can be the main issue & subsequently the dispersion increases. Tough to drive butt of club towards the ball as initial move & stay on top of it. Video would be great 👍🏽
Thank you! And yes it's absolutely the same with driver. You'd be a little further away from the ball which means the plane would be pitching a little flatter in any case.

Some very helpful and good quality information here. Thanks
Thank you for this video. Just the swing tips I need to change my steep swing. Will try it out in Malaysia! Keep it up with videos!
More videos to come, thanks for commenting 🙌
Always great content
Great info...thanks.
Can you make a video on how to stay in plane with the driver?
More driver videos coming 👊
Good video
Thank you!

I love the idea of that video! I will add it to the list 👊

Glad you enjoyed it Donny! Sounds as if the club might be getting a little flat half way down which can cause an overly shallow angle of attack 👍

Good explanation. I’ll give it a go. Thank you
My pleasure!
Top video, any drills / videos for an on plane swing but on downswing goes little over the top from transition to ball?
I'll do a video on that because it happens all the time. Struggle with an over fade slice by any chance?

Nice video :)
Thank you!
Great video Lewis. Is this drill with the alignment stick applicable for driver?

Dang, so sad to see you perpetuating myths that AMG has debunked 😢
They recommend the handle works towards the ball no? Same as this? I’d be interested to know the video you’re referring to 👍
