Holy shit, this rocks. Nice job breathing life into a classic.
This is what a cover should be. Just as good and evocative of the original.
Hell yes.
I love it when a simple country song goes heavy! Needed that badass gutair from the get go. Thanks for helping me get my air gutair on!!
First head this tune in may 2012 heading down I-40 through Knoxville on my wat to the west coast and it's beer the story of my life ever since!
its bands like this that keep rock music alive
Nice to see a band out of Baltimore get some popularity!
one hell of a good spin on an old classic, i love it.
THIS SONG IS AWESOME ! WELL DONE CHARM CITY DEVILS !!!
I love the movie version and this cover...I heard this on the radio and it blew me away
You sir have unleashed the wrath of the armies of metal upon you and your family.
Very well made remake of this song! Still love the original way more but I gotta give props to these guys for this!
I'm a guy that generaly likes country and bluegrass, along with a touch of metal on a regular occasion. This is a fucking sweet ass remake. WELL DONE!
This is an awesome remake of what was already a cool song. Love the rock you put into it.
ok so i was listening to a radio station while i was out of town and THIS song came on. I immediately recognized it since I love the movie O brother where art thou and i just couldn't believe how AWESOME this version was.. well here it is 2 weeks later and i FINALLY found this!!! YAY!! This rocks and i will definitely be checking out your other stuff
Love this song, they been playin it on the Radio.....I need to purchase it!!!!!!! Hell Yeah
Love this song and this version is over the top Rock on!
Found this because “The Duke” John Wayne Murdoch comes out to this song but you guys are awesome 🤟🏻
Love the duke got a interview with him in deathmatch avengers in April
I don't think the bluegrass version went anywhere pal, now there's just a version for each of us.
Best remix I have listened to in a long time
Why are you people arguing about this song, it was first recorded by Dick Burnett in 1913. Way before anybody ever heard of bluegrass or metal. Just agree it's a good song, that's why it's been covered so many times. This is the most rocking version though!!! But it was written and published about 87 years before "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"
We all have sorrow in our lives; when exactly is unknown, but it happens to us all. This song brings that in words of a badass song. Thank you Charm City Devils for remaking this song to become one of the best I know of.
theres nothing like the soggy bottom boys but i honestly think that these guys did the song justice
Go see them in concert...they absolutely rock!!!!!
This kicks ass
Love this song :)
Great job guys. Another great song.
If i ever get to go to Finland...I am playing this song once i arrive at the airport to leave. and yes, im from kentucky. xD Not proud of it either. Love the song~

I can't believe I'm just now hearing this band for the first time.
Old song, but their re-write is very good.

As someone that grew up to this song, I approve of this cover.
yeah bro ! anybody that puts these guys down are really just afraid of how cool they are!
i thought i recognized this song when i heard it on radio, turns out i heard it on a movie i watched in school today! haha, sick song!
From Blue Grass to this, love both versions!! I approve!
Glad someone did it well to rock to
no one alive today could have heard the original because it's one of the oldest songs on record(handed down from blue-grass)they were singing and playing this with banjos and guitars since the 1800's nobody really knows WHO wrote it but it has been re-done DOZENS of times LOL and STILL a great song in any version
who know this song is over a hundred years old a true classic
I have inoperable lung cancer and this song just seems to fit at the moment!
AWESOME! Just heard it on the radio...I was thinking to myself; this sounds familiar! :D So I looked it up! GREAT & FUN AND COOL!!
Heard this on SiriusXM Octane Channel just as I was getting home. Wow this version is awesome and is up there on my list with the Soggy Bottom Boys version from O Brother Where Art Thou.
Favorite version of this song yet.
Completely agree.
Agreed but I have never listened to a bad version.
No way this is such a good cover it should have been a hidden track on the soundtrack.
Agreed
This song sums up the last decade of my life pretty well.

This is awesome remake!!!
The 1st time I ever heard this song I was watching my favorite deathmatch wrestler use this song the Duke John Wayne Murdoch & lemme tell you the reaction from the crowd was electrifying
That's actually where the resurge of the original song happened. The song's actually quite old. Thanks to that movie, it's once again one of the most popular songs in the U.S.
hate to tell you but this song was made long before bob dylan was even born (it's one of the oldest songs on record) nobody really knows who wrote it but it was handed down (from blue-grass) until these guys started remakes but it is a cool song
Well done, great remake!!
