One of the best Christian death metal bands. Not as brutal as say Broken Flesh, but still awesome.

They may not have been aware that I was filming the set. I also wasn't sanctioned through the band so there wasn't an announcement that the show was being filmed or anything. But I get what you mean.

They sound awesome live! I really enjoy the heaviness of their newest album, but you can hear the speed and guitar differences with their song from the album Baptized In Filth. Imo i think that album was best. It was heavy, dark, fast, and lyrics were on point. I hope to hear a new album by Impending Doom within a year or two from now and it'd be more focused on that raw speed and heaviness they had from BIF and DWR.
But regardless, they're amazing and i loved listening to this live show!

Holy fuck, it feels like yesterday since this show! And god, I was skinnier. I remember telling the boys in Impending Doom and my friends that I'm getting on that stage as much as possible since I was leaving for the military that year. Now I've got artwork that I'm finishing up for Impending Doom, and doing my own thing in music and graphic art.

For WAR MUSIC, I don't see how you guys got those 27" ESP baritones to properly intonate to F#.
Why not just go with an 28" scale 8 string. You're already there. Love every thing you guys do for the word of God.

They play 7s and 8s...8s for their Drop E or lower stuff and 7s fir drop A to drop F#...i believe they played 8s the first couple songs..
I can intonate my 25.5" scale 7 string Ibanez to low F# without issue...I'm sure they don't have a problem with a 27" scale.
@@evanse33 But what guage of string are you using? The thicker you go, the less tone you get. Recently i did a test on my ibanez rg7620 and was shocked the floyd was able to intonate a low G on a 70 guage. I think it helps when theres no standard saddles, or a tunamatic bridge. However, my ibanez xl ax110 that has a 27" cant intonate past A. Interesting stuff. But my 28" ibanez, zero issues.

impending doom have a monopoly now for sure. I mean there is no band that can compete with them in heaviness anyway, christian or not.
