Training Day. Dakota fire hole.

so I wanted to spend a day training with my daughter.
we went navigating through the woods.teaching her to stay close to tree lines and avoid open areas if at all possible.
then we spent time working on her fire skills in a survival situation.
the Dakota fire hole is a way to conceal a fire and allow you to minimize detection and leave less of a footprint should you need to cover your tracks.
also while working on situational awareness
