I think this was her best performance! She definitely had less pitch problems and less of that fast vibrato of hers than other of her songs and she's having fun!! She really nailed that fast part from 1:16 - 1:30!!! :P
She was the Sanjaya of that year. Each year has one. And this year it was her. No one has any fucking clue how she made it that far, just like Sanjaya. That vibrato is just absolutely agonizing.
Randy Jackson...jerk....never . liked Carmen. He lambasted her almost every performance He never gave the girl her due. I never liked the Disco era much but I thought Carmen was great...she's got energy, spunk and she sang the heck out of the song!

Being a fun song Carmen did a great cover it sites her voice perfectly. She needs to pursue this style of music. She would go far in entertainment with her looks, just don't yodel please it no matter who tries it a terrible way to display ones ability.
Between,Carmen, Haley, and Diana... It's down to both: Diana and Carmen. I am a fan of all 3, but Haley has nothing on either preformance. I think the BEST over all, not singing ability-wise, more of entertaining... CARMEN wins. Singing-ability goes to CARMEN.. And.. Personality and work and use of the stage and the catch of the song.. DIANA.. Notice, Haley received none of these, If you'd asked the judges, the SAME RESULT will come forth. -Biggassets

The whole show was very karaoke. That said, she was one of the best that night. Completely in tune and she kept her vibrato to a minimum.

Doing "Oh-ooooh-ooooh" anbd "ho-uuu yeah" doesn't qualify you as a singer. A goof singer doesn't need this sh.t to perform well.
