I wish you good luck David. My daughter might still be a member when you get there, but she's been taking a bunch of summer classes, so maybe she'll be gone then??? My son is a HS senior his year, he's also thinking about attending MSU. It's hard work, but it is Uber-Cool! One thing you'll realize when you get into a college band of this caliber, you become a bit of a Rock Star on campus! My daughter's freshman year, she was surprised how many people noticed her marching band jacket while at the store, a cafeteria, etc... and they would come up to her asking if she was in the band and saying how awesome they are and how proud she must be to be a member. Their hard work doe not go unnoticed. I have a few more videos to post from last season (yea, I'm behind) and I will also post every future home game performance here (whenever they happen? Darn Covid!) so if you want to subscribe, you'll see them all as soon as I can get them uploaded.
I might have a couple more of them practicing indoors before the trip to the Pinstripe bowl in NY. But, since I'm not around the campus for their daily practice routines, I don't have much practice footage. I might be able to scrape up some short clips to took during my daughters first "band camp" with the SMB... Gimme some time,
@@Tumsaddict I looked through the few videos I have of the SMB practicing. I'm going to start posting them in the few minutes. I'm not sure I have a spotlight on the drumline during practice, but you may be able to hear them warming up in the background as I videoed the trumpet section, because my daughter is a Spartan Trumpet. ;-) Check my channel out later today...
