I think in order to really make the Z move works, you need the target to be hit by all of them, after all in the anime they are not 100% accurate moves.

Anime logic says
A Hariyama bulky and hard hitting Pokemon with bellydrum boost using stab fighting type z move isn't able to defeat a pikachu that has been hitted by fakeout knock off arm thrust (X5)
Man that boosted hariyama can one shot even a f#cking groudon with that z move
And u r saying that a not so effective normal type z move by pikachu can defeat a bulky fighting type Pokemon hariyama
