FYI. If you have a build up of just grease and grime, it's easy to clean and make it look new again. I used a healthy amount of Goo Gone spray gel. I let it soak in. Then, I used a scrub brush and rags to work the gunk off.
It is but this was an easy way to make it really clean and hopefully stay clean longer, time will tell!
Obviously from Canada you would spell harbor as Harbour.

if you ever get to a habour freight they might sell what is called copper slag sand blast material WORKS AWESOME.We have it here in Canada at Princess Auto

Not a bad result. I favor the crusty old look and only put the time into cleaning up the inside where it impacts engine performance.

You should have used DE1615. It looks more like the actual aluminum.
