Saying he's "probably the strongest one on the field" just because his power scales to the severity of the current war is a flawed argument. Given it was a war between an alliance of the human armies, the Amazons, the Atlanteans, the gods of Olympus, and the Green Lantern of Sector 2814 versus the forces of Apokolips it's probably the strongest Ares has ever been due to his innate scaling, no question, however that doesn't automatically make him the strongest on the battlefield since the buff to his base power level is based on the severity of the overall war not the power levels of any of the specific individuals fighting in said war. Strongest of our allied forces? Fair claim. Even though the others gods' attacks against Darkseid all seemed effective with Apollo's arrows sticking and Darkseid taking the time to block Zeus lightning but Ares was the only one to literally break his block and land a blow more than skin deep both with one attack. The Green Lantern was already dead by that point and doesn't need to be counted, lucky given the DCEU Lanterns haven't been explored yet. Strongest on the battlefield? Questionable. Darkseid and his armies were pretty arrogant and careless with their approach likely due to their might. They didn't guard their mages at all and Darkseid didn't even try to block an attack against him until Zeus' Lightning which is also when Ares charged in. During the attack in question he caught it just as it hit his his shoulder preventing Ares' attempt to continue driving it further. Still, regardless of whether or not Ares was the strongest on the battlefield he was a mighty and due to the circumstances greatly empowered warrior and landing a blow like that on Darkseid deserves respect.
@@KHloreExpert He is strongest because of how and what DC Comics Aries feeds off. He just does not feed off conflict, he feeds off of battle savagery. The more savage the battles, the more energy he gets. Having him face Darkseid in battle is like having a car battery hooked up to the power grid. We know what happens when a car battery is in that state. It will explode from too much energy. The thing is, Aries did the same thing. Wonder Woman even told the after story. It just never occurred to the Amazons that the fight took place not long after Darkseid got driven off Earth.
You all are wrong. She is Athena! Artemis is not s Goddess. She is one of Diana sisters though. But that Goddess is Athena. Goddess of the hunt( The Best ever hunter,) love for nature , and Protector of man.
This movie was incredible! I don’t buy it from anybody that Zack Snyder can’t tell a good story. This movie has style and substance. The action is unmatched, the heart and soul was felt, the movie was funny but the tone was balanced, the movie had stakes and consequences. A MASTERPIECE!!!
It's Crazy because Zack's Style is Substance. There's a lot of visual narration with his movies. The tones, the grading. A lot of things push a narrative and are meaningful to the movie and characters
@@StanvilleBrown the heads of WB at the time had their own motives. BVS performed well at the box office, but it didn’t do marvel numbers and people criticized the theatrical cut(most people just didn’t get the movie). WB got cold feet and constantly fought with Snyder on his ideas for justice league demanding he change the film’s tone and cut the movie down to two hours. Zack filmed everything he wanted to anyway and sadly when his daughter died he stepped away from the movie. WB decided to tamper with his vision, they brought in Joss Whedon for reshoots, Geoff Johns for rewrites, rushed Danny Elfman to create new music, and released the mess we got in 2017. Tl;dr WB was being stupid
And somehow it was the last one found. I guess because the box could have been anywhere on earth, whereas the Atlanteans would have it at their home, and so would the Amazons. It kind of narrows it down.
@@itsalwayssomething7490 yeah they protected their boxes so extremely, they painted a big target on where to find them. Though the humans did a horrible job hiding theirs, it meant their box would be easily lost in time, which meant Steppenwolf had to actually work to find it.
@@sirimity how is hiding a box to be lost in time a bad idea? What if they sons of the men who buried it, wanted to dig it up and try and use it. Best way to hide something is to hide it somewhere random, boring and remote then get blind drunk until, You can’t remember where you hid it.
@@unSelf21 He may not always adhere to the source material, but that's what filmmaking is about. Creating interesting interpretations while staying true to the character's abilities.
Zack Snyder created his own, interesting *adaptation* in the Snyderverse, currently, he's been out of WB for over five years. To this day, the MCU posers are still dunking on Zack Snyder.
I know I’m three months late, but if you actually go back and watch man of steel, when General Zod is invading earth, n takes over all telecommunications. Zodiac lines about Clark almost directly relate to J’onn J’onzz aka The Martian Manhunter. Dr. Hamilton actually looks back at the general with concern maybe Dr. Hamilton new General swanwicks real identity. And given the background of the green Martians and the white Martians, it Makes a lot of sense that the general would not want to out himself to anyone.
@@annaki525 still sucks. They are just going to change the DCEU into the MCU 2.0 You can see those news and see a wonderful time, I see a waste. Restore the Snyderverse
I love how this movie talks about family and how the human aspect of being alone is tackled. Bruce is alone, Diana cant go back to Themiscyra, Arthur wants nothing to do with Atlantis, Barry wants to save his father who was wrongly accused but can't and Victor is trying to get over the loss of her mother and later reconciles with his father and loses him. All human problems for some of the strongest superheroes.
The reason why flash can barely touch people in this movie is because Zack Snyder wanted to give the flash a more realistic approach so if he moves as super speed with people they’re close would rip entirely as we saw with his shoes when he was at the dog shelter. That’s why when he saved Iris he had to carefully and gently move her to safety.
Universal was given the rights to the Snyderverse. We'll be getting a lot more thankfully as well as the Ayer Cut of the Suicide Squad. Snyder's universe was so much more organized compared to WB and what Gunn had planned. He was just gonna make the Man of Steel movies go into after the Injustice League, the best kind of Justice League. Just because he listens to the fans and the company doesn't care about what he is making, taking it back and complaining because they say there's a so called plan that they have laid out. It's not looking too good for them and I'd rather die than watch any of Gunn's movies. The DCEU was the true DC and i don't know what people don't see about how it wasn't successful. It's just those casual brainless Marvel headed WB/DCU fools. They're finally learning the hard way that they took the faster path. Only Gunn is the naive one with the massive ego. He's the reason stocks and profits are at a record low now and the stupid decisions at WB by the three stooges.
So when it came to Barry's running, Ezra studied quite a few different things, one of them being speed skating I believe. Being light on his feet and taking long strides would probably be more accurate compared to Grants running on the treadmill, because he's trying not to destroy the ground beneath him like when he saved Iris, applying force to stop himself completely messed up the road. He's trying to cause minimal damage to things as possible.
Nahhh, this is one of the few gripes with this film. Went too deep to portray something we all have grown accustomed to in comics, animation, and live action. As a track sprinter, this part hurts to watch. Doesn't resemble any speed skaters I've followed either. The speedster movement portrayed in Eternals and Wonder Woman heads and tails above this. I can pickup things without explanation but had they somehow explained this in the movie, like you have, it would remain very very aesthentically displeasing to the eye. Unfortunately this is an instance of trying to remake the wheel. Unnecessary.
☝🏾Tell me you're not an athlete without telling me you're not an athlete🤣 Looks goofy as all hell but y'all can continue convince yourselves all you want lmao. Probably think the movie is perfect and explain away everything with bs like this😂
The police officer that speaks to Lois Lane in Part 1 is played by Marc McClure -- who portrayed Jimmy Olsen in Christopher Reeve's four Superman films (and in the Supergirl film featuring Helen Slater).
Re shoots were only 5-7 mins, which you saw in the end(the scenes with the joker). Snyder knew that he might not get another chance to show his vision. So he wanted show joker and batman in his movie together. That's the only reshoot he's done(other than the new green lantern reshoot which studio didn't let him add to the movie). Oh and the 4:3 ration is because it was recorded for IMAX screening, so Snyder didn't want to crop it for widescreen because he wanted us to see it all.
The thing is, those weren't "re shoots", it was additional footage. All the Zack Snyder haters kept saying he had to do a bunch of re shoots when in fact he didn't re shoot any of the footage, just filmed the scenes he never got to before stepping away.
@@officerdank4644 yes they were additional shoots. Those scenes were story boarded but never shot so they weren't re-shoots. I'm only being so specific because so many people who hate Zack said there were a bunch of "re shoots" when in fact, there were only additional scenes filmed and the terminology makes a difference.
You have no idea how happy we were when this was announced back in 2020. After mostly everyone was against it, saying it never existed and all the support, tweets and noise we made for them to heard us.
This is the best DC movie since The Dark Knight for me. James Gunn and Peter Safran really should bring Zack Snyder back. Or he should be back symbolically with the new universe continuing from the ZSJL storyline, explaining the premonition visions. And your video was awesome! For some reason, I feel like I saw your reaction to this movie months ago. 😆 Maybe it was BvS.
Zack has always been one of the coolest social media follow for years but he gives you insight into how much more picture you get with the IMAX format or aspect ratio.
Another frustrating tidbit: Zack initially wanted both John Stewart and Kilowog in his version, but the studio refused because Geoff Johns was working on a Green Lantern TV series (which has since been cancelled) and they didn't want him touching the characters. They were suppose to warn Bruce at the end instead of Martian Manhunter. In fact, during Cyborg's flashback; you'll notice Kilowog is lying dead in the pile of rubble in front of the destroyed Justice League sign.
I used to love Geoff Johns for his comic books but when I knew about this, I felt so goddamned betrayed by that guy. He became one of his villains, no doubt.
Yup Ryan Choi is Atom and portrayed by a Chinese actor. Imagine Atom movie with a theatrical release in China, it could have been tremendous! You may want to react to Watchmen, another ZS movie.
Think they already did cause they have a Watchmen "something" on the back. Nobody recognised Billy Crudup as Dr. Manhattan though. He's an amazing actor.
The extra scene that were shot were at the end, the stuff with Martian Manhunter and Joker. The movie itself was done but needed special effects. The special effects were so much better in this cut. As well as the music.
Also in the tunnel scene, Flash couldn't carry them because his speed would rip them apart. That's why Zack showed us in slow motion what he'd have to do with Iris to save her in motion without hurting her. It'd be hard to do that with multiple people going up the stairs.
Do you know how many people I’ve had to explain this too because they say that it doesn’t make sense that flash is just walking up the stairs with everyone they’re like why doesn’t he just save the hostages im like- do you not fucking pay attention
I was meh about the original Justice League but watching the Snydercut my mind was BLOWN with how good it was! So happy we got that movie in the way it was intended!
This is more of an Imax shot so the aspect ratio is different. Its not chopping anything off but showing more of the movie. Hope you guys have a wonderful day as well :)
The movie is long, but that’s because Zack didn’t held back since it was going to be watched at home. Had it been released in theaters, he would have edit it into a solid 3 hours movie. It was worth the wait.
Such a great movie! It was like an event film and perfect during the lockdown. Some fans were able to watch it in a theater and there is a rumor that a fan event will take place to celebrate the film again sometime. Having Cyborg be integral to the story was a great move.
This is definitely one of if not my favorite superhero movie ever. I love DC comics and I've always prefered DC caracters and stories and to be able to see such an amazing movie and the fact that it sets up so much exciting upcoming movies it got me super hyped. Marvel was good until endgame but the darker, more serious tone of DC will always get me more involved. I really hope DC can get more movies like that, we need serious movies and serious emotions, enough with the comedic stuff, let's get serious !
This movie doesn't even lack comedy. It's all situational and goes naturally with scenes unlike Marvel where it's constantly used to take the edge off any scene. They might as go full comedy and include a laugh track with their movies.
DC has a variety of tone, not everything is dark and gritty, for every batman and Constantine, there's Plastic man and Booster Gold. In the future DC will have some serious, some light. Dependant on the character and the tone intrinsic with their narrative.
In addition to my last comment, Jane said that this version was not ready when Joss whedon released his version. So what happened was the studio interfered with Batman Vs Superman, saying it's too dark. They got Snyder to cut out a lot of stuff and it didn't perform well at the cinema because the theatrical cut didn't make sense. Because of this, the studio were worried that Snyders vision was too dark. So while Zach was filming the justice League, they kept asking him to tone it down, make it more like marvel and he had a lot of arguments with Warner brothers and then sadly the passing of his daughter happened and that gave him an excuse to leave the project. The studio then decided to bring in Joss whedon, the man who directed the two avengers films which performed remarkably at the box office, and asked him to lighten up the tone and make the justice League more relatable to marvel. They also wanted him to make it a 2-hour movie so that they could fit in more showings in a day because they were greedy and wanted to make as much money in opening weekend before the bad reviews came out and put fans off. Joss re-shot so many scenes. Pretty much 80% of Zach's film was left on the cutting room floor, so in answer to what Jane said, Zach's film had already been shot and was in post production. The first trailer that came out was all Zach's footage. They hadn't finished the visual effects and then Josh weeden came in and reshot a lot of scenes, rewrote a load of scenes, cut a load of stuff out and made a complete hatchet job of his own version of the film and Zack's version of the film. It performed horribly at the cinema which then called for release the Snyder cut. The actors were all on other projects at this. The infamous CGI top lip of Henry Cavill was evident because he was filming mission impossible fallout at the time and had a moustache and was contractually not allowed to remove it. He filmed the reshoots in a superman outfit and with a tash! If you are still reading at this point, reply with the word supertash! Love you all, keep up the good work!! Xx
During an interview with Zack Snyder, he was asked a question about Cyborg's story and powers. To that Snyder said, Cyborg is the heart and soul of the movie itself. And he literally was the heart and soul of the film.
Zack Snyder filmed his Justice League movie for IMAX. So, Whedon changed the aspect ratio for the theatrical. I wholeheartedly agree about wanting Amy Adams to return as Lois Lane. I think of all the great portrayals of Lois Lanes in all the movies and tv shows, I think hers was the ultimate best and her on-screen chemistry with Henry Cavill is the best of all Lois Lane/Clark Kent matchups in TV and movies. I think it is worth going back and seeing the theatrical version again, if anything just for the sake of doing a deep dive film comparison and learning about different directorial styles and also learn a lot about how much film editing can change a movie. It will also make you mad (but at the same time, interesting to study) at just how much WB and Whedon changed the movie and how much they cut out and reshot, which then almost tripled the budget. The ironic thing is that even if Whedon had just stitched together some of the original footage into a 2 hour movie, without reshooting anything, that butchered movie version still would have still made a good profit. But, it was the reshoots that doomed the movie's profitability from the start. Honestly, I did still enjoy the theatrical version and did not think it was total trash like some others did. BUT, after seeing this Snyder Cut, I honestly cannot get myself to ever see the theatrical version ever again. When I saw the theatrical version, I did see it 3 times in theaters and did love it much more than The Last Jedi, which came out around the same time. But, even then, that theatrical version definitely felt like a freaky hybrid vision of 2 different directors that did not mesh well at all. I honestly did not even blame Joss Whedon at the time, but blamed WB for throwing Snyder under the bus (ever since BvS came out) and causing all their own DCEU problems with their own studio interference. If Whedon had made his own JL movie from scratch without having to deal with a super-tight deadline and having to integrate somebody else's footage, then I think it may have been pretty good. BUT, after all the stuff that then started coming out in ensuing months about Whedon's bad, hateful attitude towards the cast and badmouthing Snyder every chance he could and just all-around being an a**hole, I am not a Whedon fan anymore. Did you hear about the better chances now we may get an Ayer cut after all for Suicide Squad? Nothing is definite yet and there still is a chance we may never get it. But, it seems (based on James Gunn giving slight hints here and there but never outright approving it either) chances may be better now with new direction under James Gunn than it was with the old WB regime that inexplicably did not want Henry Cavill back as Superman. To me, Ben Affleck is still my favorite Batman and his batmobile is still my favorite batmobile. Apparently, James Wan went back to Zack Snyder and worked with him when making his Aquaman movie to make sure his movie aligned more with Snyder's vision of Aquaman rather than Whedon's version. The one thing I am still curious about is that if WB never wanted to release the Snyder Cut and it was never going to be considered canon, then why did Snyder not just put back or rather, add back in, all the Green Lantern stuff he originally wanted in the movie, but WB made him take out and he had to use Martain Manhunter instead. Apparently, Snyder even had a backup plan of using Ryan Reynold's Green Lantern in the movie.
I don't like Amy Adams portrayal of Lois at all in these movies. She does not give off Lois vibes, she felt like a random news reporter. I don't see her in this movie and think immediately Lois Lane. Plus, her and Cavill don't have the Clark or Lois or even Superman and Lois chemistry. The problem to me with Henry Cavill is he is a good Superman but he's an okay Clark Kent and others have played a better Clark. To me, Christopher Reeves is the only one to still play both Superman and Clark Kent the best, everyone else has done well with either playing Clark Kent but not Superman or they played Superman well but not Clark Kent well.
Wonder why the justice league actors went through with the reshoots in Whedon's movie like did they force them to do it were they under a contract or something else ?
@@xavierruiz8262 I am not in the movie business. But, I would assume they were still under contract with the studio just like any other movie and it was likely already written into their contract from the very start. Technically, a movie is not finished until the last day of post-production and they were not all rehired to make a completely different movie for Joss Whedon, but making the same movie for WB. The contract is for the studio and not the director. All actors/actresses have to make themselves available for possible reshoots and nowadays reshoots are almost inevitable for just about every movie that I would think that is built into their contracts now. Many actors/actresses even have to turn down some other potential movies because it may conflict with another movie. By the way, I remember reading somewhere that WB was already considering firing Zack Snyder anyway even way before the horrible tragedy with his daughter happened. WB really over-reacted badly to the bad PR Batman V Superman was getting at the time. Unfortunately for them, Mr. Snyder was already filming Justice League at the time. So, that is another way WB shot themselves in the foot. If WB was already throwing Snyder under the bus back then after BvS came out, they should have fired him at that time rather than wait until the guy finished filming the entire movie. They dragged things out so long that they caused their own mess.
@@hanziggy6862 dang and top of that after Whedon's movie ben Affleck batman and cyborg got canceled and rick famuyiwa who was the original director for the a different flash movie left that was set after ZSJL like aquaman and originally was to be released in 2018 I think and gotten a headless superman in shazam and don't like how Whedon said that ray Fisher was a bad actor when they only just met during reshoots and him and original wb removed lots of good scenes to make it more like marvel or something like how they did with Ayers suicide squad just match up with deadpool
@@xavierruiz8262 I was actually on Whedon's side at first when all that controversy first came out and I thought Ray Fisher may have been over-exaggerating or taking things out of context since he was pretty new to acting and probably did not know how the industry worked or the lingo. I also thought maybe Whedon was just too stressed out and burned out from making Age of Ultron, from which there are stories about how extremely tired and worn out he was from making that film back then, and I felt bad he probably took on much more than he could chew having to take over another comic book movie way too soon with a super-tight deadline. I think WB should've at least given Zack Snyder time to grieve and walk away for a while. I mean, movies get shut down all the time for various reasons, including accidents, and then resume months later. WB could have done that or pushed back the deadline so Whedon could have more time to do what he wanted. But, then more and more people started coming out telling their stories about Joss Whedon, including how he acted badly on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer set, and how he threatened Gal Gadot's career and then blamed her for not understanding english that well (even though she never talked about it or made a big deal of it until Ray Fisher made it public). It seems it was a long pattern of bad behavior and an arrogant attitude of Whedon thinking he was a big shot nobody could criticize and nobody ever stood up to him. Oh well, good riddance, I say. Regardless, I still think WB caused their own mess.
You two are amazing to watch. ZSJL was an incredible movie. I'm glad you liked it. BTW...the Flash running scenes were well researched based on a type of karate but I don't know the details. Alot of people didn't like how it looked but it made more sense when you see why.
This is one of the most comic book movies ever made, and when i say this, i mean in the way it feels like the pages of a graphic novel coming to life, its great! And the 3d act is action packed and epic!
That isn’t Lex’s son, he is meant to be THE Lex Luthor. It just happens that his father had the same name ‘Alexander’ because the company is called LexCorp rather than LuthorCorp so they needed to have that backstory for it to be a long existing company and have Lex be someone who inherits a fortune just like he does in the comics. In Smallville, his father’s name is Lionel and the company is LuthorCorp but Lex changes it to LexCorp later on. They probably just wanted to avoid all that messiness. But let me assure you this is most definitely THE Lex Luthor, the same one who is the arch-nemesis of Superman for generations in comics and movies. Great reaction btw! Jumped up in excitement when I saw you uploaded this. Masterpiece of a movie!! Btw Bruce was just too busy putting the team together to stop the end of the world, and had no idea Martha lost the house, even Lois didn’t know. Also as for the dirt at the end of BvS, it was more symbolic that he would return but you can also see it as a sign that his cells are still active just dormant and he needed a boost from the mother box to fully awaken. Finally ZSJL takes place only about a month or two after BvS so he wasn’t dead very long. If it was a year Lois would’ve already had given birth to their child.
Perfectly said. The main issue with these movies and this continuity is that people were not willing to be patient. People will argue that Jesse was not a good version of Lex, but he checks off all the right characteristics for Lex Luthor. They (non Snyder fans) just would not be patient and allow these characters to grow into their full potential. They wanted a perfect Superman with all the experience right off the bat and they weren’t very accepting of a Batman, who is jaded after 20 years of fighting criminals. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve debated with people about the characters in these movies
idk where you guys got the idea that Lex Luthor isnt in the movie, Jesse Eisenberg is Alexander Luthor, in BvS and in this movie, his father is called Lionel Luthor
So great to see both of your reactions to Zack Snyder's Justice League. You two are such a great, likeable couple. I love watching you both. Many, dear greetings from Germany. Sorry for my bad English. 🙈
Nooo jane is right he's a good flash!! She not talking about his real life she talking about him as a CHARACTER flash...and I agree I like his flash portrayal!!!
The Snyder Cut is in the IMAX format as he originally intended. It allows you to get the big vertical views of the heroes. It was cut at the top and bottom of the screen for the original theatrical release to fit the widescreen format like most movies, and it detracted from the original idea of how this was intended to be viewed.
That's not Aquaman's dad, it's King Atlan, that is the Goddess Artemis, the god of hunting, I think. It was one of her arrows that they used to get Diana's attention.
I love how this movie fills in the plotholes left by Joss Whedon's bastardized Justice League vision by incorporating individual motivation and reasoning for the members coming together to form the League. Also, the black suit looks so awesome with intentional function. Since the color black absorbs heat, Superman chose to wear it before taking flight to absorb sunlight in order to supercharge his Kryptonian cells.
Phenomenal masterpiece of a movie. 'The future has taken root in the present', nothing was changed, we were heading into Knightmare timeline, that would've been JL 2 & 3, Flash warning in BvS was a mistake as Barry said there "I'm too soon", as the focal point of change is that moment of Darkseid in the Batcave with Superman, due to Lois Lane death he succombs to Anti-life equation wielded by Darkseid hence to why the world goes into that hellish form. There was additional shoots for this cut, but that was only for that last scene with Joker, the rest of the 70 mil was to touch up, complete some VFX. Rest of the movie was originally filmed back in 2016/17. Flash running style is based on ice skatting, to make it look very fluid. Yes, Black suit is for fast recovering. It's been a couple of months since Superman died, hence the reason Lois is pregnant but no baby belly yet. There was this idead that Lois was gonna have Bruce baby, but it was rejected by Snyder himself, so never made it to the script. Dirt rising from his grave was a sign of his returning, the mother box just accelerated the process. Henry Cavill respected Snyder's take on Superman, and he also supported the release of the Snyder Cut, he himself was there when he announced with Zack.
To bring a bit more context: Snyder had to a lot of friction with the Warner executives during the production of film due to his vision but had to back up from the movir due her daughter taking her life and not being able to finish it even though they'd already filmed almost the entirety of the main photography. And when Whedon came in they made so much reshoots that delayed a lot the movie and in the way caused a very uncomfortable work environment with Cyborg and Wonder Woman cutting a lot of scenes and changing most of the plot. Even so that Henry Cavil was already filming Mission Impossible and had a massice mustache that could not shave do to contract and had to be removed with what its nowadays considered a piece of the worst uses of cgi And when the movie came out... it was clear that even less than galf of what was shown in theaters was even filmed by Snyder, so since he was treated so unfairly... fans forced Warner to realize this what people want to see even if they dont wanted to as a company, and at the end ended giving him the budget to finish post production and record the few scenes left and finally made its glorious return
Just wanted to add Snyder went back to work on the film after his daughter's death to cope with the grief but Warner Bros were still interfering so he quit. Warner Bros are evil.
Also 4:3 is the aspect ratio that was there in old school Hollywood. Before Widescreen was even a thing, 4:3 (and even smaller) was the standard in theaters. This is why TV's used the square shape. Widescreen was created to compete with TV's being a thing.
I think the scene where he gives the struggling mom money, he didnt take it from somewhere. remember the bull and bear market, the economies, he can move money with a thought too
One of the Batman movies... Batman is talking to someone on a roof at night, he turns his head and when he looks back the other person is gone. He then comments, "so that is what it feels like"
Regarding "The Flash" film it is still scheduled for release as his film has an important storyline that would affect future and past events. But due to Ezra's circumstance he will have limited appearances for press interviews and promotions compared to his co-stars.
The reason they had Barry run the way he does is that rather than showing him run normally at super fast speed (like the tv Flash) they wanted him to cover vast distance with every stride, more like he's swimming through the air only touching the ground once in the same time he would otherwise do it thousands of times.
Here's what happened according to Zack. WB was testy about how Man of Steel was received so they interfered in BvS and Suicide Squad. They cut the former down, eliminating vital plot points that tied the movie together and then butchered the latter to take away some of its dark tone. When they saw how both movies performed at the box office, they blamed everybody except the ones responsible, themselves. They began to seriously question the darker tone of the Snyderverse and wanted to copy Marvel's success, so they figured adding one liners and quips was the way to go, so they brought in Joss Whedon to "punch up the dialogue." The trouble began when Joss wanted some scenes re-shot to reflect his dialogue which changed the tone of the movie. Zack refused and Joss went to Geoff Johns and they went to WB. Joss wanted to then direct those same scenes to get the most out of the performances. Zack disagreed. Then Joss started second-guessing Zack's directing and going to Johns to comment. Then it got so that ZACK was the one having to fight to get HIS scenes directed the way that HE wanted. He was fighting for every decision and then his daughter committed suicide. He lost the will to fight about the petty stuff in the movie and WB let Whedon do what he wanted. Zack couldn't stand to see what Whedon was doing so quit. Whedon then re-shot the majority of the movie which required Henry to have his moustache from Mission Impossible: Fallout, digitally removed, because he was contractually obligated to keep it. The Marvel style Justice League was not well-received so fans started the #ReleasetheSnyderCut.
Juat wanted to point out that man buried their box without a tomb, altar etc because man tends to try and over take and control. By having a simple grave man would not be tempted to find it
I LOVED how Zack Snyder didn't hold back with showing how powerfull everyone in the league was, normally they always nerf The Flash but in this one they show how he's easily the second strongest right after Superman.
Gal found out she was pregnant during the filming of this movie and then had to shoot additional photography for Wonder Woman when she was showing. She wasn't pregnant during principal photography for Wonder Woman.
Great seeing you guys react to this. Such an awesome movie. That woman with the bow in the 'age of heroes' battle was the old god Artemis. And the old lady with Darkseid at the end was Granny Goodness. #RestoreTheSnyderVerse
I just truly LOVE this movie. It is so damn good and awesome! The greek godess with arrows is Artemis. Godess of hunt. Also the lasers from Darkside is called Omega beams. WE HAVE NO FEAR!!
The god with the arrows would be Athena as goddess of battle strategy? Also Jane, he's not laughing at your fears, he laughing at your reaction to your fears. It's adorable. 😄😆 So many good moments in this. The 'Jingle bells, Batman smells' reference. Loved this reaction.
Actually the God with the arrows was Artemis, Artemis was a daughter of Zeus, a sister of Ares, and a figure in Ancient Greek mythology who was the Goddess of the Hunt.
1:16:15, I love this moment I really do. Silas Stone looks over and sees his son walk step up in the company of other superheroes. That look of shock, awe and pride was played well by Joe Morton. He knows he doesn't have to worry about Victor anymore his boy is going to be okay.
I don't think it was necessary but the flash running style is meant to emulate ice skating. it's a more flowing style that i feel was chosen to because it's more stylistic but it comes across as silly. it doesn't bother me but it does go against every other version of super speed in media where the legs just move super fast to the point they become blurs.

I mean, Snyder made his masterpiece with this. For his daughter!
At 30:50, Ares' power is fueled by war, so with a battle of that size happening, he was probably the strongest one on the field.
This battle is also why Aries killed his family. He lost total control.
Good observation

They say it cause they lack the necessary range of understanding to get into his movies. Pity them.
It's Crazy because Zack's Style is Substance. There's a lot of visual narration with his movies. The tones, the grading. A lot of things push a narrative and are meaningful to the movie and characters
I can understand that, but my only question is why the hell we didn't get THIS back in 2017?

Man of Steel had a Fathers theme. BvS had a Mothers theme. And this movie had a family theme. So cool how Zack tied it all together.

@@DanielKeller-lw1eu but we are not getting anymore snyderverse... right ?

A 2 hour reaction!?!? Sweet 😊
Yes. Ryan Choi becomes The Atom. His character was also in the Arrowverse Crisis Of Infinite Earths.
It is said the aspect ratio aligns to the natural field of view of the human eyes.
The whole Cyborg introduction and backstory really gets the tears flowing every time
This is definitely one of if not my favorite superhero movie ever.
Unfortunately there's a horde of simpletons who thinks getting a few laughs is what makes a movie memorable or engaging.
Restore the Snyderverse!
No They Confirmed snyder verse is been Canceled a year ago zack snyder is Not Coming Back any time soon

Yeah but if you Google who is the heart and soul of the justice league it is martian manhunter
1:38:04 whoever shot that Superman shot deserves a raise. That is such a great shot that it really is my wallpaper.
The police officer that Lois gave coffee to, is the actor who played Jimmy Olsen in Superman 1978.
Was looking for this comment. 👍🏾
idk where you guys got the idea that Lex Luthor isnt in the movie, Jesse Eisenberg is Alexander Luthor, in BvS and in this movie, his father is called Lionel Luthor
@Cer1992 isnt he from Earth 3 universe? the Snyderverse is set in Earth 1 from what i know
So great to see both of your reactions to Zack Snyder's Justice League. You two are such a great, likeable couple. I love watching you both.
Many, dear greetings from Germany.
Sorry for my bad English. 🙈
1:24:40 I love Jane's reaction when Flash looks terrified that Superman can see him coming.
Hated the theatrical... So happy with this one it brought tears to my eyes
Watched this like 10 times since it came out
Ngl, I one of those ppl who binge watched the Snyder cut movie reactions a few days after it came out😂
@@wingman5100 right there with you
Nooo jane is right he's a good flash!! She not talking about his real life she talking about him as a CHARACTER flash...and I agree I like his flash portrayal!!!
Long live the SnyderVerse.
To bring a bit more context:
Snyder had to a lot of friction with the Warner executives during the production of film due to his vision but had to back up from the movir due her daughter taking her life and not being able to finish it even though they'd already filmed almost the entirety of the main photography.
And when Whedon came in they made so much reshoots that delayed a lot the movie and in the way caused a very uncomfortable work environment with Cyborg and Wonder Woman cutting a lot of scenes and changing most of the plot. Even so that Henry Cavil was already filming Mission Impossible and had a massice mustache that could not shave do to contract and had to be removed with what its nowadays considered a piece of the worst uses of cgi
And when the movie came out... it was clear that even less than galf of what was shown in theaters was even filmed by Snyder, so since he was treated so unfairly... fans forced Warner to realize this what people want to see even if they dont wanted to as a company, and at the end ended giving him the budget to finish post production and record the few scenes left and finally made its glorious return
Just wanted to add Snyder went back to work on the film after his daughter's death to cope with the grief but Warner Bros were still interfering so he quit. Warner Bros are evil.
AT&T forced WB to release it, if it weren't for them yall wouldn't have gotten the cut.
Also 4:3 is the aspect ratio that was there in old school Hollywood. Before Widescreen was even a thing, 4:3 (and even smaller) was the standard in theaters. This is why TV's used the square shape. Widescreen was created to compete with TV's being a thing.
I think the scene where he gives the struggling mom money, he didnt take it from somewhere. remember the bull and bear market, the economies, he can move money with a thought too
31:43 Aqua man's dad is a simple lighthouse keeper though.
I live in Ontario as well. If you're wondering about the streaming numbers of ZSJL, it was the most streamed title in Crave's history :)
Glad yall enjoyed it dope reaction yall
The reason they had Barry run the way he does is that rather than showing him run normally at super fast speed (like the tv Flash) they wanted him to cover vast distance with every stride, more like he's swimming through the air only touching the ground once in the same time he would otherwise do it thousands of times.
"Did you see the other version?
I wonder if I saw it...HAHAHAHAHA"
- Jane 2022
By having a simple grave man would not be tempted to find it
Can’t believe I just watched this 2 hour long video 💀 but Fr tho I love y’all’s reactions stay true to yourselves much love ❤
That's commitment!! Thank you
I LOVED how Zack Snyder didn't hold back with showing how powerfull everyone in the league was, normally they always nerf The Flash but in this one they show how he's easily the second strongest right after Superman.
2:04:15 the movie is awesome. So great to see what the Man of Steel trilogy culminated in.
Gal found out she was pregnant during the filming of this movie and then had to shoot additional photography for Wonder Woman when she was showing. She wasn't pregnant during principal photography for Wonder Woman.
Thanks for making my morning at work go quickly! Yea i watched the first 5 min of the original and turned it off. This version is amazing!!
Cyborg wasn’t taking the money from anywhere he was creating it digitally and putting it into her account.
I'm so ready for this, Im sure will love your reaction
Woman with the arrow was Artemis.
Great seeing you guys react to this. Such an awesome movie.
That woman with the bow in the 'age of heroes' battle was the old god Artemis.
And the old lady with Darkseid at the end was Granny Goodness.

Yours tears man.. i really appreciate this, very good and true reaction.
1:58:24 Deadpool is based off Deathstroke
It's shot in 4:3 for imax... There is no wider version
I just truly LOVE this movie. It is so damn good and awesome!
The greek godess with arrows is Artemis. Godess of hunt. Also the lasers from Darkside is called Omega beams.
WE HAVE NO FEAR!!
Darkseid eye lasers is called omega beams
1st off, great reaction video ty. 2nd, Barry's running style is modeled after speed skaters and at his speed is actually a more efficient form
The actor who plays Steppnwolf's voice, he was on Game of Thrones, he was Mance Rayder.
Yes, it's all been culminating for this epicness
Artemis, goddess of hunting, was the one with the arrow. The Amazons used it earlier to call Diana
@@julesb1970 You're correct. 👍🏽
1:31:30
Barry : you have satellite?
Bruce : I have 6
This means the 6 satellites Batman uses to watch all the Justice League behaviour, just in case they're going crazy. This also explain why Bruce said to Barry his super powers is rich
The best part of the whole reaction was at 56:42, had me ROTF LAMO…😂🤣😅. I don’t remember the movie…but I remember the Pizza, it was Pappa Johns…thinner crust cheese”. You guys are brilliant and hilarious, great reaction.
Lololol, JV: "Wanna do it again?", Jane: *excited "Get the pizza?!"
🤣🤣🤣🍕🍕🍕
1:23:40 Victor's system sensing some dangers because of the memory of the future alternative universe when Superman become evil
31:35 Arrow chick is the goddess of the hunt and archery, Artemis
1:16:22, you guys are parents so you could imagine how Dr. Stone feels in this moment. His son who he almost lost walks in leading some of the most powerful people on the planet. His boy is working to save the world. He must feel so proud in that moment.
