    Hey Fred how do you set zero pitch and I’d it that important on these micros? In normal 3D mode it isn’t zero at mid stick but it is in idle up. Is that what matters and should you level your swash in idle up? Thanks. I guess levelling a swash and setting zero pitch are different things? Would you have to turn links and should it also be a zero pitch in normal mode? Sure seems to fly rock solid with no drift regardless. Thanks.

    Nice! Do you feel any difference in weight holding both helis or in flight? I suppose the Exp is lighter. Would it feel a little agile in flight? Thanks.

    • @33forsaken
      @33forsaken  3 года назад

      Honestly they feel the exact same in flight. Yes I am sure the explore is just a little lighter due to less metal but it is not something you can notice.

    Hey Freddy....you recently recommended that I consider the OMP heli. I currently fly a Blade 230s V2 and really enjoy the self leveling feature. I'm not really interested in inverted flight or 3d, I save that for my planes. Was wondering if the self leveling flight mode on the OMP works well? If it does work well, I really like this heli. Appears to have tons of power and love that it doesn't have a main gear. (-: It's way more fun for me to fly in that mode so I don't have to worry about crashing. Can still do some very nice flying in that mode.
    Thanks man, and I appreciate your time as always.

      Do you find that many people use the self leveling, or is that somewhat uncommon? I feel like I'm cheating a bit by using it, it's just more fun for me. LOL.

    • @chrisclark3150
      @chrisclark3150 3 года назад

      and would you agree that some nice sport flying can be done with a heli in self leveling mode? Or is it too limiting to fly well? Thanks again!!

    Is the tail-boom the same? I read somewhere the V2 has an aluminum tail boom, and the original M2 has a carbon boom. But in the video they appear to have identical boom.

    So im looking to get back into the hobby after a 2 year absence. I still a 450 and a 500 t rex. Im thinking of getting a smaller helli to ease back into the hobby. Im no 3d flyer (still working on that) . Would you recommend getting something smaller for small garden use and which one, budget wise.?

    • @33forsaken
      @33forsaken  3 года назад +1

    • @33forsaken
      @33forsaken  3 года назад +1

      Well you can get the T6 made by OMP and I believe its around that price point. Or you can look for a used Spektrum radio maybe like a dx 6 or dx 7.

      Yes, you just need to choose futaba version of the m2. By the way, you can get a huge difference even on k110 by just upgrading the radio and glue the front servo.

      @@arnoldgines3381 There is a futana version of omp M1 that can directly pair with futaba radio and xk x6 radio. But there isn't a futana version of M2. You need to get a futaba receiver. That's why I haven't pulled a trigger on M2.

    If I bind my Explore to my Spektrum DX9, Do I do all the setup inside the DX9 ? or do I need to program anything into the OMP flight controller ? This is my first adventure with an OMP Heli

    • @33forsaken
      @33forsaken  3 года назад

      If the Explore is factory set then no you do not need to change anything. Just bind and do your radio setup and fly, if you want to make changes later then you can use the program settings on the FBL system.
