I discovered i have 389 hours. Full 150 , Max samples, Max req. Slips, max medals. Really i discovered theres nothing else to accomplish. We need upgrades to spend stuff on. Or make the dam caps higher so i FEEL like im doung something.
My god. The devs are incredible. They put so much detail into the game. Just like rockstar does in games like red dead redemption. Its so admirable. Imagine what they could do with the funding and team size that rockstar has?? These devs are truly some of the BEST in the business and it shows with the quality of this game!!

Speaking of audio cues... Carrying the grenade launcher has a unique rattling footstep, presumably as the belted ammo clanks around. To my knowledge it is the only weapon that has this feature. You can hear the tesla, rocket, and autocannon sentries warm up before they fire. Stalkers might be invisible but they emit a low burbling growl. If you hear it, it means they have detected you and are moving to attack. Bugs that are about to call a breach start making unique noises. If you are far enough away from a gatling barrage impact point, you can hear the shells coming into the atmosphere. Sometimes, rare samples have audio cues. Listen when nearby, it sounds a lot like a certain ringing root from a certain Bethesda game involving the rim of the sky.
There’s another RUclipsr that mentions this but a detail that was removed was having your Helldiver covered in mud and snow but now only gets covered in blood and bug oil. Haven’t tested it myself though.
For all the incredible minute details in this game, i would just like it if the berserkers which have TWO CHAINSAWS FOR ARMS had a sound effect that sounded like TWO LOUD HECKING CHAINSAWS. They are far too quiet and sneaky. Also the tanks must have electric motors despite needing a heat vent because they have no engine noise as well. Good video tho, helldivers 2 GOTY
There are a ton of attacks you can parry with the right timing. Especially against bugs. Some time training could save a divers life. You can also use melee to stun a bug quickly before it attacks your buddy.
When you are in first person perspective and somebody else aims at your face, the green laser will flare out your vision, as if you were actually wearing dirty goggles irl
I always saw that black stipe around the democracy officer’s head whenever I play with other divers, but when I looked at my officer I couldn’t find it, but now I know it’s an eye patch :D
you can actually see how many shell inside pump shotgun by looking aside and if you about to run out of ammo diver will use shell on shell holder for the 2 or 3 last shell, rifle also have cool detail where the last 4 - 5 bullet will growing red to tell you this mag about to run out
Samples? I haven't needed a sample in months its actually nice not having to worry about picking any up because those incompetent fucks at arrowhead release one warbond every 3 months if were lucky zero new missons added zero new planets added 600 hours in and its just getting boring at this point.

Theres a detail about the Terminids, the chargers have visible breaths on cold planets that means Terminids have lungs
Chargers do at least, which makes sense
Actually fun fact terminids do not have lungs, the “breath” you see is actually pure facism and hatred of managed democracy leaking from their bodies
Not only does the democracy officer look different but the talkable staff all have different names from ship to ship

If you stand/crouch/prone on top of a fabricator bots with med/high penetration can destroy their own FAB's shooting into its vents.
I’ve made Fact Striders destroy stratagem jammers with their top cannon in the past. Super satisfying.

The heat vent is for the reactor which powers all bot tech. Hence why Hulks need one too. The motors they are powering can be electric therefore.
You gotta start reloading mid jump pack jump, you can do the animation in the air and it not only looks funny, but saves time!

You can sneak peek into bunker if prone in the middle of door and than go into first person mode with weapon
