Gyle i don't play SupCom but i do love the way you cast these games. Long-time viewer, first time commenter. Keep up the great work. Also, nothing but respect for MoreThanAJedi, what an absolute unit
spoiler comment . . . . MoreThanAJedi got three kills, not two. He got two telesnipes, but it was his stratbombers that took out AccidentalAeon too. The only reason he didn't get Man_on_the_Moon as well was because he went in for a telesnipe at the same time in an attempt to lock it in, but died instead, so the bombers lost the attack command. If it weren't for that, he would have gotten 4 for 4 on kills.
MoreThanAJedi took out 2 players with the laser but don't forget he also strat sniped the third and if it wasn't for those Neptunes being a tad bit too close to the shore he would also have bagged the fourth and final commander! And I think that's why he did that last seemingly unnecessary teleport, he just wanted that quadruplet and finish with style and BANG
Loved the scrappy play from Jedi. Excellent example of how to have fun and be effective when you are the lowest rating player. That last coordinated strike was especially excellent, and would have succeeded without the pause from transfer on the bombers.
(No Spoilers) Have to say this was a remarkably quiet game. There was some talk at the beginning, but after that almost nothing. Not even when we saw a whole bunch of surprise snipes - that usually gets people mad in chat. But nope, everyone just quietly let the game play out. Even at the end it was just a silent resignation. Were they all in voice chat, or did nothing that happened all game phase them?
36:18 is like "Nice laser. Let me show you mine." Man on the Moon was super focused on his ACU as well given he'd just had a sub assassination attempt and was deliberately not exiting the water for fear of tele-laser when he got out. So to attempt it late was literally suicide, he parked everything he had and was visually sweeping. He took the torp bombers out first, he kept the boats close, he swung South for the strat bombers and peeled them off. It was a bad move to go for that pressure. Instant KO.
Love what MoreThanAJedi did. Nobody expects it this early in the game. I wish he applied himself differently in the end, and instead went for further Eco destruction, but nontheless, great job.

As long as ive been watching these matches ive never understood why players dont instinctively build pd in base when going against Cy players...they almost always go for a tele snipe at some point
@@IRMentat They often do eventually. But no one expect a telemaser this early in a 4v4 that wasn't even all that desperate at the time. Far more important to make anti-nukes at that stage. The PD also only make sense when you're sure you're not going to be moving your ACU from that spot. That's normal for lategame when his build capacity is outclassed, but not necessarily midgame.
The advantage of the Cybran T2 PD is its high rate of fire and that it can't miss. That makes it the best T2 PD against T1 spam. If you brought it to the same DPS as the others, it would be the best T2 PD by far.

I'm an avid Cybran player and I think the Cerberus Turret is good as is. It may not have the same DPS as other factions' T2 PD but it does have a high cyclic rate. I will say, I think it would be nice for Cybran to have a T3 PD (outside of BlackOps and other mods) to trade off for the dismal DPS the Cerberus Turrets put out.
