Fairly new player, starting out properly in season 7 after abandoning 5&6 and I've landed on the Ayyubid. This order has given me a great push up the ranks recently. I was making all sorts of units prior to this but now the lancers & archers are absolutely killing it. I'm nowhere near as clean with the actions but I'm very comfortable now with how to play the game more effectively. Thanks for the insights!

Hey I really enjoyed the guide. I would sugets you keep the observer on the amount of units on each resource rather than how many resources are gathered each minute. I find it to be a lot more usefull in order to figure out how you alocate your villegers at any moment in time.

@@C.BronsoNN You don't do the same build. You could go Economic wing then the religous wing after instead. English are pretty good counter to Ayyubids in the early game.

what do you do in a mirror match up? and what feudal units should we go for to finish games vs dehli or eng?
Hey small optimization you can build your house of wisdom with the 3rd vill that goes to gold and the age 2 age up is even smoother
Your guides are what get me back into AoE4 after long breaks so thank you. What would you say is the state of Abbasid these days? Would you pick Ayyubid or Abbasid in a team game?
Ayyubid bc of free camel riders for early pressure and free vills. Abassid needs extra TC and wood to match that
Great guide Valdemar! I wondered, how do you decide whether to go camel lancers or ghulams once you hit castle age?
If your opponent is pushing in feudal, then Ghulams work well (vs civs without feudal utility vs armor)
Ghulams are kind of useless once you opponent is castle
Thank you for the great content! How do you deal with Byz fedual aggression with this build order? should I go FC into Gaulam instead? because byz will have jav + spear which counters camel lancers pretty well?
If they’re trying to all in you in feudal, ghulams are great, but a lot of times people are just harassing and therefore camel lancers are better because you can start to use them immediatly to shut off new units coming. Ghulams vs castle age opp is generally a bad idea

when facing English and dehli or Zhuxi, should I go for "Master smith" and build units into Feudal to fight early on or should I go for "Growth" and defend with tower? does this decision depends more on the map distance between or my first gold distribution?
Don’t discount industry for the free wood to get 2 production buildings up for free. Having spears from that had saved me from Delhi.
can you toggle the resources to villagers gathering for these videos so we can follow the build order easier
I love the build but I really struggle against early aggression. What’s the response to getting pushed at 6-8min or so? More towers or make prod buildings and units or something? Or always try to hold with the one or two desert raiders?
Ideally you have bought enough time with the Desert Raider and Tower. That means that you have banked enough res to go into Ghulams (if oppo goes feudal all in) or Camel Lancer and Archers (if opponent is only harassing)
Is there a reason pros use the 2nd gold vill for the HoW? I always do the 3rd one (so 2 are already on gold).
It doesnt matter if you use 2nd or 3rd in my experience

Which Wing choice would you go with if you decide to go Imperial? I've liked Ayyubid from the start, I'm just not great with them.
That would be highly situational, but I think Atabegs are good

shouldn't you save those berries for castle age if you going for growth? it gives additional +100 food for each of them.
Yep, that is correct!
That might be a bit greedy. I think you can finish the game in castle with this build.
When do you transition to farms in this build?
Ideally, you win the game before that is necessary. :)
can u please make a guide on how to deal with 2 tcs please valdemar (Opponent going 2 tc), cant find such guide atm
Look up "Timing Attack" and "How to all in" on my channel. There, you see me dealing with 2TC through an all-in and a FC timing
Looks great, but it becomes difficult if your food production gets raided. Good guide, I'll give it a try!
That is why we gather berries first and hop on sheep if under pressure
@@Valdemar1902 I've just practiced it and it feels way better than my usual build, I usually ended up with no food or some other resource. With this build I can constantly make units, feels great.

Yep!
I seem to keep getting population capped around the time to age up to castle.
You get 8 vills for free so building an extra house is important
why don't use cheap wing?
Why be so obsessed with going castle when you can mass units in feudal make rams and kill them?
If you're going feudal all in there are better civs

"Fast" when it's 30sec+ slower than basic fast castle of other civs 😅 They overnerfed the tech.
But you get 8 free villagers and save villager time in building the landmarks
@@yz8520 And you lose out to HRE in relic war, Dehli takes relics+sacred sites, etc.

they have highest winrate than every other civ in every bracket
