I love this set, but the handle locking mechanism does not seat securely (at least in the one shipped to me) so when I either lift by the handle or while it’s sitting on the stove, it falls loose. I’ve had it come out and fall forward spilling hot gravy. Is there anyway to adjust the handle where the mechanism should lock in so that it secures it? I love this set but until this issue is figured out, I’m back to using my older canteen with the butterfly handles.
you seem like someone who would actually use this information so here it is: You can cut a vine/branch and keep it's orientation from root to leaf to straw filter your water. So cut a bendy branch and put the tail end into the dirty water side and bend the leafy side towards a fresh water siphon. Do this preboiling. The membranes of the cells get out some stuff boiling can't.
Curious to see the set in a year
Nice, I've got the bottle set myself been using it for a few years now still doing good.
Glad to see your still getting out there
I like the little gold nugget you threw in the video :)
Hi there ! My set is about 6 years old . Still works like a champ!
Greetings from Brasil!
Awesome I'm excited to use if for years to come.
Thanks for your comments.
I love this set!!! I use it on all of my stealth camping videos. Thanks for showing it off!
I like the fact you mentioned warm liquids and a hypothermic patient.

How did you make your green wool shirt?
Have you tried char cloth in it yet?
I like the points you made, you should do more camp out videos
So as the story goes, the ridge on the canteen is to keep stuff from falling in the cup when they are mated together. Seems like a good explanation.
Hm, did not know that thank you.
Nice hasty tripod you did man, I like the kit curious about that ridge though looks like it's two pieces.

That's actually awesome I'll definitely give this a go thanks.
