do you need to do the same process at that start if you have an svg file?
Why not have the start and stop at different points - won't the thread hop a shorter distance? i.e. on opposite corners of the "P"
Yeah you can put the start and stop at different points of your design, I just prefer to have it in the same place to avoid fill blanks
I find inkstitch pretty haze
Is there no way to add trims to the start/end points? Seems like you had to manually cut those connecting strings.

What did you press to select the two shapes on the p and a, mine only selects one shape at a time
I pressed + hold shift then selected the shapes 👍🏽
