@@CarpauxCarte21 I managed to get the midi file for this and ran it through different bass patches and compressors on ableton and got close but then I stumbled across a french house forum after typing in voyager bass in Google it was about 75 percent to 35 percent in favour that it was a tb303 and not a real bass so I ran it thru a tb 303 emulator software on sine wave and abletons glue compressor and built in filter at around 100hz boost and voilà it was perfect ! I have had 20 years of trying to get that sound.
I've resisted a 5 string for 20 years, and I've seen people doing this cover on a 4 string, tuned down. But this video makes me want a 5 string! Great cover, one of my very favourite bass lines.
@hefcks The 5 sting bass has a lower string (B) added below. Like this you dont need for example to tune your 1st string down to play with metal guitarist.

It's usually bc in the studio version the bass is done with a synth or sampled.
