11:40 Even units as recent as L!Micaiah are pretty hard to use. L!Elincia can't get merged fast enough. The biggest difficulty of AR VoH is playing it every day. Sometimes I forget or just don't wanna, but you need to not waste Aether to compete
I have a recent hot take. I enjoy the protagonist of Book 8 more than any of the last 3 books. And that's really saying something, considering I find her as a worse Nino in every regard (who is one of my favorite characters). In fact, it's just another Black Fang ripoff, which isn't even that well-constructed to begin with.
If you let Emblem Ike just enemy phase you while you have hardy bearing wouldn't that be enough? Hardy Bearing removes the forced vantage, Laguz Friend makes Great Aether go from 3cd to 1 so he doesn't proc it, then you just double him with no consequences because he's slow and doesn't even have guaranteed follow ups
S!Claude? K!Byleth? Perne and S!M!Shez for more recent examples. Idk the f2p heroes can be pretty good imo. And often times they come without prf skills so you can run an x skill on them to give a little extra oomph.
Awwww Infantry Pulse took mine 😭😭 I have 2 backups tho 1. Arena is too old to not have mechanics where people can better understand the scoring, which is also too old. I should not need to know a units BST, nor the calculation of all of their skills' SP just to get more points. Setting the bonus unit to someome like Fjorm makes it already hard enough. Plus I also shouldn't be Penalized for enjoying using a Calvalry unit because they have lower BST and access to less skills than an Infantry unit or Armored Unit. Like, Aether Raids is sooooo easy to understand how it's scoring works, why can't they just fix arena??? 2. Affinity Auto-Battles might be bad but it's definitely not the worst Frontline Phalanx was is by far the worst "event" they've given us. You don't even do anything you just send in a unit and something just happens? At least with affinity Auto Battles we know exactly how they work, Frontline Phalanx just... exists... Great video by the way!
Ngl I completely forgot the axe existed it’s lowkey cracked. Add that to the list of the good ones definitely the best arcane. I do standby everything else I said tho and I do think Arcane Luin is the second most useful Arcane

Arcane Thrima is an extremely good weapon. There's a reason why ppl are putting it on A Peony. It has great support effects

As someone who uses some demotes or grails in AR they can work perfect fine there on ARO. Most of it is whats around the f2p unit.
