I remember we often paid only 4 or 5 euros for the cab! So yeah, you would definitely go back and explore more!
5 euros ????? I used to pay a little bit under 3 euros (500 fdj). Just stop a cab, say ''It's 500 or nothing'' and most will accept lol. If they say no, ask the next one and he will most likely accept (If you are travelling within the city that is)

It's sad you only went to Djibouti city. Djibouti is much more than that! The sea is incredible and there are lots of others beautiful places inside the country!
Concerning the taxi price, sorry for you but since you were a tourist, you paid the high price! Everything there is about negotiating! It's almost like a game.
If they say no, ask the next one and he will most likely accept (If you are travelling within the city that is)
It's a beautiful Somali country.
@Amina Mohamed i like you to question yourself why is the national anthem somali because djibouti in the past were somali and afars came to djibouti because their region in ethopia is next to djibouti
Amina Mohamed you guys migrated to Djibouti. It’s always has and always will be somali 🇸🇴🇩🇯
Amina Mohamed wtf is Somali country go back to Ethiopia where your ancestors came from don’t claim our country
@Amina Mohamed fuck Afar they just there as refugees
Ogden was somalis and djbouti was ethiopias
The Somali Family:
Somalia-The Big brother
Somaliland-The Bright Brother.
Puntland-The chill brother
Ogaden-The Lonley Brother
Djibouti-The Rich but Quiet Brother
K.S.T-The mostly violent brother
You must be crazy. Somaliland is not rebellious!!! To fit your list Somaliland would be the intelligent, mysterious, nice & well behaved brother.
subby I don’t mean rebellious as a bad thing. I mean a secretive country with a lot of personality that the world dose not know about as such is its beauty. I’m from Somalia and I love somaliland and its agriculture and beauty
@@Giifgaaf I must have misunderstood it then. My bad. I'm from Gabiley, Somaliland. May God bring peace to Somalia, ameen.
subby ammen!!
As I'm from puntland and ogadenia. Chill and lonely do fit us
Dijbuti is part of Somalia
Same culture and religion the language “ Somali” and everything !!

I am happy to see you visited my country ( Djibouti) , it is good and peaceful country , i hope you got great hospitality there , it's an amazing country , it has three languages , Somali , french and Arabic , i don't speak french and Arabic coz i was born in somaliland but most of my family born and raised in Djibouti , so that's what makes me djiboutian , i love my country , it has little downsides like the temperature is high during summers but in general it is good and peacfull country , and it has great hospitality , i hope you liked it .
so much that you have hatred, first of all you have to write the word love never you are in trouble, in Somalia or somaliland or putland,😂🤣🤣 ahhh damn the story of siad barre you well educated
You forgot Afar
I went to Summer Holiday to Djibouti Palace Kempinski and it was fantastic, beaches are beautiful.
I used to live in Djibouti because of my parents job, it was an amazing 3 years
The Horn of Africa I never knew that they spoke french or were colonized by France guess we learn something everyday
I wonder how France even found Djibouti must have been a long time trying to find it France have colonized a lot of African places.😁😁🚴🏾♀️🚴🏾♀️👍👍
Very well done Drew, as usual !! But...there is a mistake: Nutella is DEFINETELY ITALIAN !!!!
Man don’t talk about Somewhere you have no knowledge. We Djiboutins are Somali and our lengouge is Somali the presidential is Somali the main people of Djibouti are Somali we speak other language but that doesn’t mean we are not Somali. The children are also somali , maybe you don’t understand. Back to the history Djibouti is pert of the 5 somalis that Somali flag represent . 🇸🇴We are also 99.7 Muslim.🇩🇯
Never had to pay 35$ a cab, as long as I discussed the price before.
And , in this video, I hardly recognized the country I had the chance to live in for 2 years. So I wonder : does Djibouti changes so much or are 2 days really enough to get a complete insight of a country ? (whether it's Djibouti or another country..)
PS : for the record Nutella is Italian, not french ;)
It was probably touristy prices, you gotta haggle
So disappointed of you!!!! They are Somalis .....and Somalia fought for their freedom and they decide to have their separate country and how come you dont mention their main language that everyone on the street knows SOMALI. ...French is spoken like 40/100 Somali is spoken 100/100
The country of military bases!
Did you pay $35 to go from the airport to the city center? We stole from you, because it costs $1.5 for Djiboutians! In Djibouti, prices are multiplied by 5 or 10 when it comes to white people or tourists.
Btw Somali is the first language idk where you getting all these other languages at. You had the wrong person research for you buddy.
There’s no franchise and Arabic. The first language is Somali and people of Jabuti is Somali, wrong documentary 🤷🏼♂️🇩🇯🇸🇴
My country!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I LOVE MY COUNTRY
Every country u go u show mostly negative side. Ur negative man 👎🏾. Djibouti 🇩🇯 and Somalia 🇸🇴 is where I love to spend my Entire life!
Beautiful country , Nice people 👍 greetings 🖖 from 🇲🇽🇺🇸 to Djibouti 🇩🇯
I greet you from 🇩🇯
It is good To talk about real faits that existe in Djibouti. But i think u didnt visit outside the town believe me it is beautiful
Your right, its very nice place,I missed it too much...
Beautiful is far from djibouti, it's dirty and dusty.

I love djibouti I'm from Somaliland.
One of the wealthiest gov in Africa, it could have been one of the most highly developed nations on the continent. A "little Hong-Kong if you will.
Even with all the defaults and inequalities and all tht stuff I still kinda have hope in my Djibouti and my Afar. 🇩🇯
Um, I don't think the intro was appropriate drew. Maybe just me but I felt it was a lil disrespectful to make fun of a country's name
0:25 she dropped him 😦
You forget they speak somali 80% of the population
I just visited the best country in the world. ...DJIBOUTI
I don’t like this guy how he i he not even mentioned Djabuti language is Somali he said France what the hell this video another misleading about Somalia
Yes Arabic and Somali not France what
A country where every other country wants its military base
Welcome brother to Djibouti, we fell happy that you visited our country
U idiot no tourism there's just because u r looting
