It's not pronounced "Jaboody" as if there is a D at the end..... it is "JabooTI". Another tip is to try to build rapport with the locals and have a friendly conversation before asking them if they "want to say something to the camera"... most people aren't open to that right away without getting your vibe first. I heard you within this clip saying Somalis spread different countries but Can you at least try to know the history of the country you are traveling.
If you look in the middle of Somali flag there is star with five edges..
the colony divided Somalia into five different parts
    1-somali Ethiopia
    2-somali Kenya
    3-somali France(Djibouti)
    4-Somali Italy(south Somalia)
    5-Somali British(North Somalia)
Somali used to be a huge country but divided by the colony because of their ethnicity(Muslim County 100%).
the main language spoken these areas is Somalia plus colonial language
    i.e. Djibouti(France) second language.

Oh yeah. Corrupt cops man 😅 Djibouti is where I’m originally from, they always get amazed at the airport when I mention that I don’t have Djiboutian citizenship and that I must get a visa every time I’m going to motherland. Well when I go, usually in the winter season Boston gets very cold and snowy and in Djibouti there’s no such thing as winter so it’s the perfect time and I’ve been there 12 times and the longest stay I had was 3 months, but even then I don’t get bothered when I’m taking pictures of whatever wherever whenever. It’s just the fact that you don’t really know the local languages to tell them to F off or befriend a local (advice to people who want to go there) and then they’ll never ever bother you.

Djibouti and Somalia speak similar language and share culture generally, but Djibouti is basically French because its a former french colony, the country also hosts various country's military bases, USA, French, China and others. Its stable compared to Somalia, its one of the troop countries in AMISOM/ATMIS mission in Somalia.

Our embassy is out there putting in that work with spreading the use of English in this country. I hope the program continues to grow especially with the American military base located there that continues to improve indicating it shall be there for quite a while. This benefits Djibouti as it receives money for allowing the many different military bases there plus it’s able to cut spending on its own military and hopefully use the savings for beneficial programs such as investing in better schools or in developing the country. But with the large presence of American forces perpetually there, it surely will be well defended from an foreign adversary despite being in probably the most strategic point of the Red Sea. The USA historically hasn’t performed well in Africa and not many hearts and minds have been won in favor of “American imperialism” or so it’s critically named, however I believe with a fresh new initiative focusing on the American narrative and the public opinion of Djibouti along with using this base as a springboard to launch humanitarian operations in Somalia and other struggling HOA nations, along with the emphasis on sophisticated health care instead of attempting to spread democracy and emphasizing materialism will be more effective. I believe a serious focused effort specifically in this region can create a swaying of opinion across the continent. By partnering the military for security with large non profit health aid and humanitarian organizations, there could be much improvement in the general opinion of the people there. This will certainly affect the people’s support of Islamic terrorist organizations and militias. Especially in Somalia, efforts like this will galvanize the population in favor of the American backed government and the renaming pockets of Al shabaab could be eliminated without the possibility of a resurgence. This would be an extremely huge win for both Somalia and also the American military so there are benefits that make it worth considering.
