Vertical lines after deforming remesh with curve is due to low curve preview segments. Default is 12. 36-48 or more will be much better. And rotation can be done much simpler with >>apply (ctrl+a) >> rotation to deltas (convert current rotation to delta rotation) >>and then simply keying rotation on z like normal and then >> pressing in any frame window(timeline for example) T to switch interpolation to linear.
The remaining artifacts are not due to the voxel resolution being to low but rather that of the curve used for deforming. To fix it, select the curve and go to the curve settings (that little green Icon in the Properties Editor) where you can find "resolution U" right at the top.
Another tip is to add a smooth modifier after the re-mesh (and before the curve) on the type layer. This will vastly improve the re-mesh without going too high on the Octree depth :)
Been watching your content for awhile now! Your channel has helped me progress so much in Blender. Thank you so much for all that you do. The blender community wouldn't be the same without you, Keep up the great work man :)
Thank you for offering a free version of your Real Time Materials for users to try, I have been eyeballing them for a long time and I am going to get the full set next month. Thank you for everything
You don't need two empties for rotation. After parenting everything to the first empty, give the text a 360° degree rotation. Then rotate the empty to orient it as you want for the camera view.
@@billalmetidji6012 Actually, when parenting the text to the torus you don't need any empty at all, just rotate the text and then position the torus. I just explained it with parenting to an empty so that if you have something else than a glass torus where you can see the rotation it can be rotated as well. But since only the rotation of the text will be noticed in the render, you can completely dispense any empties.
Hey Champ! am new here, and I need help to figuring out how I can make the object be in motion because it real stiff. What could I have possibly done wrong? Would really appreciate some help because I'm stuck 🥲
guys quick hack , instead of rotating the torus , rotate the camera (if you have background behind it select the camera and the background and rotate them together to get the same angle without doing the extra stuff , and do a normal 360 rotarion to the Torus
This has useful content. In terms of structure, I suggest you deal with the most commonly sought after effects such as animating type on a curve, after that move on to secondary and tertiary effects. It is far more likely that viewers will use aspects of the techniques in this tutorial rather than use it exactly as you have implemented it here.
I'm planning to buy your Materials they look very nice and I wanted them before I knew you made them. Couldn't find light paths but realized I didn't have Cycles on!
Hey Ducky Big fan of your work. Just tried your tutorial and its looking pretty good, however the object isn't in moving (rotating) at all. What could be the problem? #juststartedlearning
@@York_orz I looked at the Blend-file I was using triangulate in, and it seems I had made the text in Photoshop and exported it to SVG and then imported that svg to Blender. That topology really did good with some triangulation.
Can anyone share how we're able to rotate the fonts around the axis of the ring itself? meaning as though the words are inprinted on the surface of the ring and goes around the ring??
Thank you very much for this tutorial. How do I make it rotate in reverse? After having done the complete tutorial. In the rotation I am trying to place - 360 Degrees on the Z axis and it does not take them. How do I do this? Thank you very much in advance for any possible response.
hello nice video! im nearly finish everything, but at the end i click render animation, it didnt animate automatically, it just like a still image :(( plz helppppppppp~~
Hello I am a newbie and was wondering in this video can't you make a normal rotation without parenting with axis and instead just move the camera to get the angle you want ?
Great video man, by any reason when I try to apply the Curve Modifier it doesnt shows me the Bezier cirlce option im working on 4.0 version, if anyone know what could I be doing wrong let me know please
Does anyone know how to make the background transparrent so you only have the doughnut text? i tried checking the section "film" and then pressing transparrent on but then the background becomes black? Any suggestions?
Is there an easier way to set up the spot lights? I cannot for life of me figure out how to aim them down through the Torus, once I have tried moving them. There must be a way to do this using the location windows, is there?
Hello, thank you for the video. Question: everything is working great except my text is reading backwards :( I can't seem to fix it. Any ideas? Thank you!!
Hello. I come with a question because I get to the empty plane part and parent them all, everything is sticked together. When going to animate did just what you did, but my text won't rotate it stays the same. what could it be? D;
I follow you and thank you very much for your interesting explanation. We want you to explain to us in some videos how to make a logo and move it in a literal way
Great lesson. And as always there is a desire to repeat for yourself.))) And it's beautiful and can be altered to suit your needs and damn it looks very cool. And good day, where are my good manners.)))
When I view the torus in viewport shading after applying the material, I get the glassy look but it's not transparent and I can't see the text. Not sure what I did wrong
If blender crashes or your computer catches fire, then yes. More samples are better, but there are two problems-each additional sample helps less, and your computer can handle only so many. Experience will help you know how high to go, and in the meantime save everything regularly.

What I've done was make the torus a parent to the text rotate the torus then position the empty. turned out well.

Thanks so much for the tutorials, you have been a big help for me to better implement my art style into blender.
Ppl! If you have problems fixin the direction of the light you can use Constraits -> Track to -> Target -> Select the object
You can subdivide your curve to get rid of those lines.

Instead of adding a second rotator you can add a rotation to the first rotator with a delta transform.

Cheers again, really easy to follow.
Nice compositing tricks
Excellent

Blender now has support for WebP. I prefer this image format to PNG because it uses much less space.

SUBDIVING AND USING OCTREE DEPTH MEANS ENGULFING 3D TEXT THROUGH A TORUS!!!
Great! Thank you for sharing. 🤩👍💯💓
great video as always !!!
I can highly recommend Exoside's Quad Remesher. It's unbelievably good! It one of my must used addons.
love the glasses ... where did you got them from?
Hi dear friend
Your video was very beautiful
And one question, I randle at the end and I didn't find the path to rundle, please... Thanks
Why was it deleted yesterday, all good?
There was some trouble with RUclips processing the video
@ 10:30 when I zero out (and 90/-180) the values the text ends up vertical
Thank you, learned a lot with your video!!!!
this isnt working for me no matter what i do. after i add the modifier it turns into some jagged shape not text
This looks great! #motiongraphics #blender3d #blender #3d
I love this
i laughed so hard, 9 sec for your test render took me 1 min 30s and i have a pretty decent workstation... my poor machine
Amazing!
this amazing, thank you
Bless you good sir
If I remember correctly those artifacts could be removed to a great extent with the triangulate modifier with beauty polygon method.

it would be really perfect effect if you'd make those glares move along edges of text) thank you anyway for always inspiring videos!

I can't make the background transparent, even if it's in alpha PNG. It always turns black, do you know how to solve it?
you can also animate the offset right? instear of adding multiple axis
Thanks very cool
Does anyone know how to make the background transparrent so you only have the doughnut text? i tried checking the section "film" and then pressing transparrent on but then the background becomes black? Any suggestions?
do you find a way?
Hello bro. Can you please tell me how long the renderer did this animation.?
ok guys. I miss a very important knowledge. why should I import in png format? and what to do next to create a gif out of it?
How do you reset the Compositing panel? I couldn't get back to how it bring up those nodes after messing up a few setting :(

Nice
My text gets all warped when I set the rotation back to Z -180.
hmmm, deja vu (or however that is spelled). could go very well after the donut tutorial.
how I can use snapping in mac. Suggest short cut
THANK DUCKY-GOD 🌀
love you sir
Very Good, But.....IMHO, the rotation should be the opposite, to read from left to right.
Yes. Like the ticker on spots channels.
That's easy to fix, just type in -360 degrees instead.
While I am waiting for renders to complete, I do pushups. I only need to grow my biceps by 10" to be half the size of The Rock!

Cool!
Awesome tutorial. Is there a way to recreate this in Evee?
01:42 idk why but I can’t do that. Could someone help me maybe?
How can I get it to loop seamlessly? I’ve done it to 250 frames but as it restarts I get a break in the visualisation
Nice bro

What are wierd thing with axis. Is this only way to rotate some thing in angle?
By the way thanks for solve this problem)
Yup
when i add a camera its so small and it doesn't cover the whole object so many steps where skipped
to render the image alone it took me almost 3min, am on M1pro 16/1tb, and it's very hot around here, is that a normal time?
how do i install the unreal engine add on in blender?
Its my first blender project i reid to make it but it is pixalated ?
When I view the torus in viewport shading after applying the material, I get the glassy look but it's not transparent and I can't see the text. Not sure what I did wrong
Your text might have the same material as torus applied. Check the font by turning off the “eye” icon beside the torus
Cool 🔥
hi guys, the clip is very helpful for me. But i have a question that how can i make it go around like the end of the video :(
The artefacts after remesh...aren't they related to the number of segments of the curve and therefore to the curves resolution?
How do you do this on EEVEE?
Hey Ducky! Thanks! I make animated slogan nfts as part of my nft project. I'll have to give this a try to add that extra wow factor to them!
como puedo renderizar esto con el fondo transparente? :(
if i render 1000 max samples is that too much?
If blender crashes or your computer catches fire, then yes. More samples are better, but there are two problems-each additional sample helps less, and your computer can handle only so many. Experience will help you know how high to go, and in the meantime save everything regularly.
for some reason is not rendering in motion, help please
Hi dear friend
I clicked the link, but I could not download it. Can you help me more, thank you
Wait does the “render animation” process for something like this normally take hours to render?
It won’t be done for 3 hours…
How to download correctly. The video wont open , please someone advise 😭
