Telman is from the OG Bachelor route. He's an agent of the The Powers That Be that orders Bachelor to handle the outbreak in the Town, otherwise, Bachelor's Thanatica laboratory could be destroyed. Acting as benefactor, he's the one who provides Bachelor with the quests of the day through letters up till the Inquisitor arrival, when Telman disclosed as an enemy and the outbreak being a set up to close the lab.

@RockmanTr no, only Bachelor. But Nikolai is determined to make her a proper game too one day. Although we shouldn't expect anything as big as usual because the team is tired from the franchise.

IPL themselves were saying that bachelor will probably be a very small scale game, and Changeling would probably be a comic book instead of a game. But now Bachelor is a full game on the same scale as P2, I’ve learned to not trust anything IPL says lol. And also the team working on P3 is largely new people, not vets who’ve worked on Patho since the early 2000’s, so there’s probably more eagerness to pursue Clara.
@@LittleWeevil well, with Bachelor it turned out better because new mechanics rekindled the team's passion after a horrible P2 burnout and a long rest. Now some key team members are allegedly tired on a different level. They don't want to go back to the franchise, they want to move on, do new and exciting stuff. To an extent that Dybovskiy seriously considered making Changeling's route a "visual novel" as a compromise of novelty/uniqueness and a minimum effort simply to fulfill the promise and close the gestalt. He thankfully dropped that idea for now but he warned against expecting something as complex as Bachelor and Haruspex.
Yes. The original Pathologic had 3 characters with completely different takes on the same event. This is how the remake was supposed to be, too, but it was decided to release 1 character at a time, which eventually grew in separate games for each. Changeling is supposed to have her own game later.
“The guy from marble nest” was one of the 3 playable protagonists from the original game. You played through all 12 days as each character, and he was one of them, Artemy was another, and Changeling was the third.
