You just gotta get real good at quickly looking over documents. You get paid 5 credits for every entrant processed without a citation (processed meaning walking out of the booth before a scripted event or time runs out). This even includes people who don't give you documents and just drop by your booth to talk with you. You just need to get into a good habit of quickly checking documents and not messing up. If you can do that, keeping your family alive is actually pretty easy.
So basically there are 3 "good endings": escape to obristan with your entire family, let ezic blow up the wall to join them or just play the game normally refusing every ezic member and be clear of any suspicion
@@nownothingwillbewrong2958 Why? The destruction of the wall implies that Ezic's coup is successful and thus the tyranny of the Artozka government is overthrown, that's pretty good.
Imagine going to cause a terrorist attack at the border and the border inspector attacks the guards for you, then end up dying anyway from mysterious reasons.
One thing there is (not actually one) but a responsible ending, this one is where you get the 20th ending while keeping your whole family alive (also getting the niece), being cooperative with Calensk and Sergiu but not with Ezic ofc, listening to your boss that comes every 10 days, stopping all terrorist attacks, getting all token, and the hardest NO CITATIONS (except for token opportunities duh).
It's actually impossible to finish this game with no citations. On day 29, when Jorji tells you about forging passports to Obristan, he gives his own passport, which you cannot refuse. It doesn't matter if you approve or deny his entry-he will give you his passport and force a citation on you for unlawfully confiscating a passport.
6:30 Apparently, the guilt of throwing an explosive at three unconscious men was enough for that person's heart to spontaneously explode out of their chest.
i remember watching someone play this and he gave the M.O.I. investigator the rebel's documents in hopes to rat them out. He was so annoyed he got arrested instead
Dimitri must be purposely made to be a punching bag for the player, because compare to M. Vonel (who is only doing his job), he is a real bum hole, because of hangings on wall and letting his possible girlfriend from Kolechia in, even though it is suggested that he gave her a forged Diplomat.
the first time I played I managed to do the final 20 by accident, I wanted to escape to Obristan but I didn't understand the business of confiscating passports from people from Obristan, so I stayed in artotska, and it was good, the security officer told me it helped and I stayed in artotska with my family, a kind of bad government and others, but at least I could keep my wife, my mother-in-law, my niece alive until the end, glory to artotska. (apart from the time I accidentally surrendered when I gave ezic's papers to the security officer thinking he was going to destroy ezic so those annoying bastards wouldn't bother me about "a new artotska")

When I first played the game and didn't take all my family for the escape to Orbistan route. when I heard the bad ending music play. I expected an ending where Vonel beats you there and intercepts you trying to enter at the checkpoint. While doing so telling you that they forced your location out of whatever family members you didn't take or Jorgi. After playing and seeing that the game is just like. "Oh you didn't save everybody. Come on in anyways!" That ending just feels less impactful to me.

When I saw this game had 20 endings, I was like, "wow, there must be some really interesting branching stories or something," then it turns out they're all about the same. While watching this, I was like, "how is this one different than that one from a minute ago?"
6:32 Even though there are no guards still conscious the attacker still dies which implies one of 2 things; either there are more guards (most likely in watchtowers) outside of the inspector's view, or the attacker offs themself and every guard has the aim of a stormtrooper (this is most likely due to Arstotzka just coming back from a war, and getting random people with no gun training as guards.)
to get the ultimate ending, ending 20, you must be a dog to arstoska. i played that way, but when the chance arrived to leave to obristan with my son and wife, i took it. obristan above all!
Endings in a nutshell: 1-2, 13: You have a skill issue 3-4, 9-12: Wrong choice buddy 5-8: Wtf is wrong with you? 14-15, 17: That's what happens if you are half arsed about your job 16: Lmao coward. 18-20: GG. You knew what you were doing and i respect.

The way the too honest ending was phrased does mean there was a chance that the inspector was let off As much as I hate Vogel, he kinda had a point. Any government employee possibly associating with a terrorist group is bad.
The flash bang is actually a grenade. If you haven't been helping EZIC, they'll try to kill you when they attack the border. If you DO help them, they won't attack you on the last day unless you attack them first.
People keep saying that ending 19 is good. But objectively, we don't know if it is. We are told that the rebellion had begun. But we don't know who wins. For all we know, the rebellion might lose, and we and our family executed

about 1 day, if you wanna support you can subscribe to my channel
basically the "best endings" are 18, 19 and 20. while 18 and 19 being the absolutely best ones.
It’s very messed up they just fire you because your entire family is dead.
Well it is kinda your fault this time though, not arstotzka.
@@RandomVs189 Arstotzka pays you barely enough money to survive. You have to be either super efficient or take bribes, preferably both to somewhat get by.
6:37 the fact he still dies with the guards dead
Ending 18 i guess is where you are truly safe.
Amazing video. Thank you
the ending music is so good
I sneezed and it fit the rhythm of the bad ending theme lol😂
Why does ending 16 have an option for leaving by yourself but later says you take your family with you (except niece and mother in law)
Child is dead, Wife is sick, Mother in law healthy!
If you confiscate enough obristan passports after being referred to a passport forger, you can escape with your whole family to obristan.
@user-qf4dq3dr3q Ahhh I understand now. Thanks. I left before I got any more passports. I didn't know. Sorry family! Oops.
is it REALLY 20 endings if many of them are the same ending just for different reasons?
What happens if you do less than 4 EZIC tasks and let the wall get blown up? Or is that just ending 13?
Bad ending still
It will be ending where you fail to defend checkpoint and get arrested
I think it's the one where either they kill you or they just dont help you escape the audit.
2:43 you give him what he asks for and he punishes you what the heck
Held for questioning.
Papers please is incredible game brooo
GLORY OF THE ARZTOTZKA
Take your Medicine(Son) on Day 3 then it says: Very sick family members will Die without medicine on Day 4.
What is the difference between 14 and 17? Just how much Ezic has already done?
Ending 14 requires you to complete at least four EZIC tasks throughout the game but stop them from destroying the border wall at the end. Ending 17 is the same thing, but with less than four EZIC tasks completed.
On ending 15 does EZIC just straight up kill you or what?
yep
They slap you with the belt
@@Man_Aslume they grab the sandals
@@mini_tinibrasil3429 they gonna slap you silly
and your family as well
Why doesn't it say Glory to Arstotzka on the last ending
Damn bruh dont just heart my comment answer the question
@@its_drez i hate when youtubers do this it’s so annoying
I will upload a video where I explain the details of the game, it will be exclusive to the join only. If you want to support or want to be informed about the video, you can join the channel ruclips.net/channel/UC4EDmMQFJCjf9771qDckpvwjoin
@@t3az jesus dude just answer the fucking question
@@t3az sure I figured it out tho, first time getting the ending u get the endless unlock code, I assume after youve already used the code and unlocked it, nothing appears in the text after getting the same ending again
Papers please, hands down the best ending musc
This game verry good. I love this video
First ending I got was ending 2, because I was way too slow at the game. Then the next day I played for nearly 5 hours straight and Escaped to Obristan with my entire family + niece.
Glory to Arstotzka
the new ones
Ending 9-10 is the same as the ending he got earlier in the video (although ten had an EZIC note
6:23 bro died to unconscious guards after throwing his grenade
Truly a skill issue
6:30 o siyahlı kendi kendine nasıl öldü?
I like to imagine one of the guards fired a comically slow bullet that only hit the attacker after they threw the bomb.
Hey, so I'm making a video about the lore and storyline of papers please on my channel. Am I allowed to use some footage from your video in the endings part of my video?
I like to use this as a meme now lmao
I didn’t know that you get put in jail if you don’t pay your fucking rent. Is there a badge/achievment for that? If so imma try and do that
Ending 18 is obviously the best ending.
Ending 20 best ending. Glory to Arstotzka.
What happens when you just escape yourself leaving your family behind?
The music is kinda scary
Well, this video was encouraging. At least I know there’s 3 ways to win the game. I was beginning to think it wasn’t possible.
I've only been seeing this game played for a few minutes but i'm beginning to think Glory to Astoska is starting to mean F- you and have a good night lol
This is the bleakest game. Every ending is just you getting arrested, causing trouble for your family and the government continuing on as if nothing happened.
Isn't there one more ending where terrorist throws flashbang in your inspection booth?
No, that's not an ending. That only happens if you don't shoot a motorcycle terrorist or if you don't help EZIC and don't shoot the guy that comes to your booth.
I watch the gameplay from jacksepticeye's channel. His first ending was #17 when I expected it'll be #14.
I hope you enjoyed ,see you LATER
