It might have been too warm for the baselayers 😅

Base layer with 35 degree temps and hiking to boot!! No thanks, I'd be sweating to much without the base layer. LOL. You need to go out when it's 15 degrees with 25mph winds and just sit still for 4 hours, then you'll know which one is the best. Then let me know!!

Agreed. 35 and up is pretty easy to stay warm, especially with little wind. If I'm working I don't need anything but heavy work pants on my legs.
Sit or just stand around when it's 15 F and windy...different story.

You've got that right. It was warmer than I thought it was going to be. We've been to Mount Rainier in August and it's been colder!

As a person who wears shorts until it gets around freezing, I'd have been way hot. That being said, it rarely gets cold enough for me to even wear pants most of the time but, based on the apparel I own, I'd likely go w/Icebreaker (or Duckworth) & always, always buy when their stuff is on sale. Icebreaker in particular has some great off season deals.

Love that! Yeah the temperatures were warmer than I thought they'd be on this particular weekend. I've been to the same spot in August and it's been colder! Oh well, I'll get em next time.

Since I am walking 3 hours a day and since the weather is getting colder, this video is most helpful since I am in the market for a base layer. My legs tend to get cold. 👍👍
