I appreciate you! 🙏🏼
So wait, we’re all cereal killers?
indubitably!
He's training to be the Jeffrey Dahmer of cereal
😆
Mike. I did watch your review from a year ago and this updated review after a year of usage along with your assessments. Thank you for putting so much thought into this review. Your insights helped me with purchasing decision of the FSR Evo 2. Your review is very informative from a user’s perspective. Unlike others who just focused in specs. Much appreciated. Keep up the good work!
I really appreciate your kind comment. That means a lot. I'm glad you found it helpful! 😊
And that kids is how cereal was made
True story.
“and power o’s” made me laugh my head off 😂
🙌🏼🙌🏼
So much irony in this when you consider that cereal most of the sugary cereal is literally killing us period in the actual serial killer is the cereal itself
So what you're saying is the cereal killer needs to go back to using the rubber bands! His aim was so bad.
Cannibalism

Do you know if it works with iPad
Dang, I don't know. Check the Amazon Answers on the Questions page. It looks like people are saying you need an adapter. Some people say it comes with the adapter and some say it doesn't. Just FYI - I ended up testing out a different mic - the Fifine K683a and liked it much better. I switched to the Fifine shortly after making this video & still use it 😊 hope this helps
@@MikeTrachtenberg K thanks!
Clear and concise, great demo!
I appreciate the feedback! Glad it was helpful 😊
What headphones are you wearing
These are the Bose QuietComfort 2 wired headphones from 2006!
Thanks for this vlog. Were considering eastern caribb after going west in May on Enchanted Princess. 🎉😂
Thanks for the comment! Hope you love it ☺️
I like that you called him bitch
Been to a couple and hope to go to the rest 💚
Heck yeah!
Outstanding. I have a slightly dangling one b
Oh good, well now you don't!
Awesome! The dealer wants $400 for this simple job!
I hope this helps!
Well done Michael...such an easy fix!
Thanks! I hope this helped you to fix your Jeep Gladiator's broken sun visor!
Love this! Do you know if it’s possible to have this setup but run the tube into the car? I’m planning to sleep in the car and would definitely have the windows cracked for ventilation (and a carbon monoxide monitor)! I also have a 670wh power station. Hoping that will be enough!
Thank you 😊 I don't see why not. You'd just hAve to figure out how to stick the tube through the window without having too much of a gap. Watch out for mice!
The pecron E3600 is a way better deal. 2400 watts of solar charging compared to 400 watts . 3072 wh battery expandable to 15kw. I could go on and on and they are the same price. It's a neat product but a 45 v limit on solar on a 3kw battery that's ridiculous. The pecron has 2 mppt's both rated for 150v each. Expandable bats have solar inputs as well. I like the metal on this and the weight but best deal nope! As far as camping this thing is out of control awesome. It's 50 lbs with 3000 wh's of storage and you can charge it via the car efficiently. I personally wouldn't use it in my home the solar kinda stinks but for camping its ideal. No one is carrying a 100lb solar station in their jeep nor 2400 watts of solar panels. So depending on ones use case it could be really useful. Sorry for the rant. Lol
The pecron charges faster but it is a bit bigger, so for RV and camping, I think this power station is a better choice.
I hadnt heard of that one - looks very nice as well. Their website says it's 79lbs and it is larger but still a little smaller than the Jackery. I am looking forward to testing out the Comvolt with my 100w solar panel. Haven't tried it yet and now we're getting into the rainy season. Does look like great specs on the pecron. Thanks for sharing!
Question, when you are running around outside does the campsite fill up with diesel exhaust smell, and can you smell the exhaust in your tent? From one roof top tent owner to another.
Hey 👋🏼 Around the campsite, the smell has been very minimal. It's most noticable when you first turn it on for 5 minutes then after that only if you're right by the exhaust. Inside the tent, there is no diesel smell but there is some kind of a smell that I can't describe. I'm not sure if it has to do with the vent we use. It's definitely not a diesel smell. I'm hoping we are safe.
@@MikeTrachtenberg Thanks for the info. Cheers.
$999 and I'll buy it.
Let's hope for a nice black Friday sale 🤞🏼
Not sure I'd trust a something that looks a bit like a $99 Harbor Freight welder. You can buy a Victron MultiPlus 3000VA charger inverter and a 230AH or larger LFP battery for the same price... at least with that you would get Victron reliability as well as their famous boost feature so you can run bigger loads on smaller shore power circuits. That said, it is a neat idea and very compact... it's a shame it requires external chargers and that it's output is so low.
It really does feel like a high quality product! I'm pretty sure most of the portable power stations shells are made of plastic, so I appreciate that they use metal. I would compare something like this to other portable power stations such as Jackery, EcoFlow, Bluetti, etc. For dummies like me, it's easier & less complicated than getting a battery & an inverter but I can certainly understand that there are people who would prefer to do it that way 😊
in my area of the world we usualy test for ac hertz 50/60 dont want to destroy appliances due to not compatible
It sounds like you've got more knowledge in this area than I do! How would you test for that? Thank you!
@@MikeTrachtenberg multi meter it should be able to test it just search youtube some cheap one dont have freaquency test
Cool - I have a multimeter so maybe I'll incorporate that into my follow up video. Again, thank you!
hmm you can build a simpler 4000wh 12v lfp battery inverter for like 280 bucks if youre on the cheap
A lot of stuff can definitely be DIY'd for cheaper. Definitely not something a lot of people aren't looking to do but power to anyone who can 😊
I know it's heavy and difficult to maneuver, but im curious if it will fit through the gladiator back door to sit in the seat? Thats typically where we keep our current cooler. We have a bed cover (which won't accommodate most coolers) as well as a full bed of gear when we head out.
Sorry I haven't responded yet cause I haven't had a chance to test it yet but I will! Probably tomorrow!
We tried squeezing it in there. It might be possible but it is not recommended. I wouldn't try to put the 50L back there!
Nice video about the power station. Tons of features.
Thanks for watching!
We need more of this well made and not plastic case.
Exactly! It doesn't have the pretty colors but it is made of high quality material.
This makes no sense weight wise. The extender chip + Batteries for 40WH for Jackey is 42 pounds using LiFePO4.... How did this company get 3000WH at 50.7lb? That is 10 pounds less per wh and that is ignoring all internals and such.... Something does not make sense at all......
I have a Jackery, and its efficiency could be significantly improved, but it hasn't been. Many brands could significantly improve their efficiency, but they will make money by selling you an expansion pack.
I will see if I can figure out an answer for this!
I sent the brand a screenshot of your comment and here is their reply, "The energy density of the lithium iron phosphate battery can reach 180 wh / kg, which is 81.82 wh / lb. Our 3000wh battery itself weighs 36.67 pounds, and the remaining 14 pounds includes our battery casing (which has the same material as the aircraft structure, anodized aluminum oxide as a casing, which weighs only 7 pounds and the inverter about 4 pounds). Other things, such as BMSs, make up our mobile power supply, as you can see. 72% of the weight of our mobile power is battery, so this power supply has super-high structural efficiency, and we use rocket- and aircraft-like design concepts to minimize unnecessary parts and structural weight. This is the basic design concept of our power supply, so it has a much higher energy density than ordinary power supplies, and it will be even more amazing if you consider the effective output conversion rate, which is no energy loss due to the direct output of the battery. Compared to the results obtained by using refrigerator tests, the EcoFowl high energy efficiency is close to 50%. In this calculation, our effective utilization rate per unit volume is 6-7 times higher, and the energy utilization rate for unit weight is also 3-4 times higher."
@@MikeTrachtenberg lol.. they will make more monies selling these "amazing batteries" to others than powerstations. why didnt you even test the capacity for the claim 3000wh.....
Hey - thanks for the comment! How can I test it to ensure it's 3,000wh claim?
would be nice if they added a 30amp outlet for RVs
Hopefully this can come in the future. I know they are adding more products to be sold in the USA. I believe this can be hooked up to an RV to be used an RV battery but I will have to find out and include that in my follow-up video! Thanks for the comment!
❤thanks,nice vedio
Thank you. I appreciate it!
Tons of great info Very well done review!!
Thank you kindly!
1,549.00 Sale Price
yeah wow still not realistic.. could get a much better performing inverter, much better performing standalone jump starter, and just a pile of AGM batteries to run your inverter that jump starting feature is a joke... id be surprised if it can do a 4cylinder gas engine with a dead battery forget about anything with a larger engine, forget about diesels, and forget about using it in winter conditions
1549 what? Peanuts?
$1,499 with my coupon code in the description! All the prices I put in my spreadsheet were based on the current price listed on the company's website. This one is currently listed as a sale price as well as both EcoFlows & the Bluetti! No matter which one you get, it's close enough to probably think about waiting for November sales!
Doll hairs
I'm hoping I'm not in a situation to test the jump starter but if I am, I'm hoping I'll have the mindset to record for the follow-up video lol
There’s no solar cables/and those drain plugs are for when you need to clean the cooler
Yeah! I just installed a solar panel and realized there are not solar cables! I had to buy a MC4 to XT-60 connector. Thanks for adding this comment!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Barely ever wear hiking shoes. Something about my Nikes hit better

This was kinda funy lol. I laughed
😁 appreciate it!
Good to see Linustechtips outside camping and enjoying nature for once ; )
Haha I guess he's my "celebrity" look alike
Mike, I love your review/comparison videos. They are so thorough. Thank you.
I really appreciate that. Thank you!
I noticed the Ulanzi is a bit like the peak design with little width, bending the bag strap a bit to be able to fit unlike the beetle which is quite wide. Thanks for testing the products! It helped a lot with my decision.
Now that I've been using it a little longer, I just keep the clip on my bag all the time anyways so the issue I had would've been pretty irrelevant once I got it on lol
Just to be clear... was the comfort between the PGYtech and Falcam equivalent (it was unclear if you tested the Falcam comfort with a loaded pack).
Good question! No difference in terms of comfort with a loaded pack. The only thing I didn't like about the FALCAM was that I had a harder time hooking the clip onto my bag. Let me know if you think of anything else!
sorry I'm late to this but I bought one about 2 months ago and have no problem with nose at all very quiet but everything else is true very good unit thank you.
Appreciate the comment
Hey, doofus, you forgot to teflon tape the threads of the 3/8 hose you screwed into the bottom of that regulator. Also, reusing that hardware was dubious considering the increased weight, age & condition of the fasteners, and the head to hole ratio. You want to upgrade to something a little stronger and make sure the heads won't pop through at the first sudden maneuver. Finally, since you didn't spring for the metal braided pigtails and got the cheap rubber hose pigtails, you should really scrape together another 20 bucks and get a stupid nylon cloth cover for them thangs because the wind and sun will rot those hoses in less than a year and you'll dump the LP in both tanks before you know whats happened. Of course, you will think running out of LP like that is normal since you'll be pissing it from the bottom of your unsealed regulator threads. Happy trails, partner!
This comment was mean, funny, educational, insulting, well written, and helpful. I love it. Thank you!
