Good to know there are others who feel the desire to build obnoxiously ambitious Survival builds. I know how rough building trees can be in survival. Great job!
The fact that you made this in survival is absolutely mind blowing!!!! I would not be able to build something like this at all!!!! I can't even build a simple tiny castle in creative!!!! Amazing job!!!! 👏👏👏
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it's a real treet to see these timelapse videos take root in the community for inspiration. The hole thing is great. Even if the birbs really want their freedome. OK I think I have said enough so I'm going to leaf now.
I really appreciate how much time it takes you for these, and how you trial-and-error through it. It makes me feel better about how long my own builds take me. Also I was laughing at all the Illagers running around while you built the tree
This was the perfect video to watch. I want to do this above an Ancient City. We have one at the spawn of our Family Realm. I was hoping to do a smaller circle, but your circle looks perfect the way it is, and the Ancient city would be about 40 blocks deeper. And unrelated to the hole, but we also have an idea to make two family trees on our Realm! There’s a lot to think about here. Thank you!
Wow, I greatly underestimated the height and amount of digging involved. We dug down approximately 125 blocks for a depth of 150. Now I’m trying to wrap my head around the stairs
Flex builds do have a function, they're pretty, so it can uplift a person's mood, they can entice a person to join and play in a world as well. This one just got you a new subscriber!
This is truly an omega base. And the details you put in that people would barely notice like the buttons and such. This is probably the coolest base alongside the panther temple base, good job!
I completely cleaned up a 9x9 chunk area in a Jungle biome and started building a big jungle tree, I started on Y 32 and planned to go up to build height. However, the cleanup took me 60+ hours and I got frustrated and had no idea where or how to start with the tree build. I looked up videos on RUclips to get my inspiration going and this was the one. Thank you for giving me a better idea on how to plan my build. Gained a sub, very informative and detailed video!
I was thinking of doing something exactly like this but I had no idea that someone has actually done it except in my vision, the tree will be livable and the tree will be made out of warped logs and some crystal amethyst blocks so ty for having this video. I never thought of the dome as a top since I was gonna make it invisible w water and some blue glass for the tint effect but it’s a really nice build! Thanks for showcasing
I feel like giant trees that actually look good are incredibly difficult to pull off, but this one is wonderful! I love that there are bees nests & hives inside the tree trunk, too, very nice touch. It would be super cool if you made the skellie spawner pod look like a skull that they dropped out of.
I just for the first time built my own dome! Not quite this large but it was under water, I messed it up and it's not symmetrical... but I was able to Jerry-rig it to make it look just fine. It's an End Portal room at the bottom of an ocean. The floor is inspired by the Order of the White Lotus in Avatar: The Last Airbender. It's not nearly as detailed as this but I'm proud of it! Really excited to make more builds and make them more complex like this in time! Beautiful aesthetic and great work! Keep it up :)
I've built something like the tree for the Smp but I worked on it for a good bit, and it's the last and only world tree I made in survival. So complete respect to it :D
This is so epic🤩! Those pillars are to die for, the overall composition is great, and the block palette is very nice, especially the use of warped wood really compliments the grass. I have a few questions: 1. What shaders do you use? 2. Do you have plans to start a new singleplayer survival series on this channel or do you plan to keep this channel purely building-related? I personally would love to see more survival series and see the process of building without having to commit to streams, but you do you. 3. How do you get building inspiration, is just a natural eureka moment, or do you look for inspiration? 4. What are some building tips you have? I do struggle with block palette, there's just so much to choose from. Terraforming is also tedious to do, I can't seem to get the right block placements. 5. What do you think of the Minecraft 1.17 Caves and Cliffs update? I hope you answer at least some of these questions but you don't have to and thank you for the constant inspiration, I do love your building style. Keep doing this great work. Much Love, from America❤.
1. it depends on what looks good, but this video is using Seus 2. no 3. I usually think of ideas in my head first and only do research if I need help with execution. 4. since you specified tips for 2 avenues I'll answer those. I've never been good with block palettes myself, I generally think about darks and lights to add shadows and highlights to a build. I'm not a terraformer, but it's basically like building any organic, which I have other videos explaining my though process for those. 5. HYPE
Beautiful! I love it💚 I really like building like you in survival 😊 To have an idea for how it is going to look and don’t make a plan but just build and see how it goes! I especially liked the tree and the shape of the trunk and branches 💚
this mega base so sickKK! actually me and my friends are making a replica of this but we are making mistakes while making the staircase can you please make a video on how to build the staircase
Amazing Video! Great Inspiration! Keep up the work!! Builds never end up the way intended, at least the big ones, but thats the beauty of chaos :) In the end the path of buildung these immense Buildings is what takes up all the fun :D
@@Max-xj5ue tbh I had to put the video in slow motion and copy the lines she made several times untill I got a similar trunk shape. It still doesn’t look as good as hers but it looks ok
This is an amazing build! Idea for the skeleton spawner: maybe u could make it look like a drain pipe coming out of the wall. Keep up the good work! :p
Nice build, nice tree. A lot of people don't realize how long it takes to do these mega builds, I appreciate you point this out. I too wing most of my lage builds with just and idea in mind when I start, having to work and rework things as I go. It's a process, not all of us can be a Mumbo. I love the shaders too. Do you mind sharing your version, shaders, skins, mods? Thanks
i love making domes myself in survival. currently im working on a underwater base ( inspired by Vesko ) and i placed a dome ontop consist of over 65,000 glass blocks. 250 x 50 x 250
You most likely won’t see this, but next time you want to dig out a large area fast, use the haste beacon as u did, but also get a conduit and some water streams, if not then it will still help for when it rains so u can mine super fast with conduit power
Good job I know a game named islands in roblox which is basically skyblock and I always use ur tutorials to build also in Minecraft keep up the great work
I once built a techy floating village with turbines to "keep it hovering" that had a "laser drill" digging into the ground. I decided that I should dig a big hole all the way down to diamond level, that way I could have a lot of branches to branch mine, etc. Well, my hole was about half the diameter, and I only made down about 20 levels before I said screw it, and left it like that. the giant digs are the worst.
i honestly dont know how you find the motivation to do this, i mean it seems kind of bum that you spend so much time and it turns out to be only a 11 minute video, i love your content and maybe you should do a livestream showcasing a few of your builds :D
Oftentimes my motivation comes from livestreaming on twitch. I don't have a set schedule but I try to stream survival every Saturday. www.twitch.tv/megrae_mc
