    here's a white gloves tip- glue tiny dots of clear silicone caulk on the fingertips- gives excellent grip. They should be almost too small to see.

    it all depends on what kind of service is being done. there are at least 8 kinds of services and they all have their own way of serving. so it'll all depend on that, but basically if YOU are putting the food on the guest's plate = LEFT. if you are serving the PLATE with food = RIGHT

    I think there are some cases wrong, for example, when you hold a service gear to pick up meat, you should turn back the fork upward the spoon, so you can hold it easily and foods will not be dropped

    • @wobblybobbly9456
      @wobblybobbly9456 5 лет назад

      WRONG! FORKS ALWAYS POINT DOWN! Learn some etiquette- the waste of food is a non issue, we're not starving Communist peasants, among millions of other half fed inbred useless eaters breeding like rabbits, so we don't care about dropped food.

    i dont think there was ever a point when every British male was a gentleman. It's just a stereotypical image.

  • @aydinsito
    @aydinsito 9 лет назад +2

    he wasn't showing them how to open champagne, there are different ways of holding the fork and spoon and its not the best way, also while silver serving your serving plate should be quite close to the base plate, not high up, cos its much harder to serve from higher also, and minimizing the dropping the food during its short journey ..then again, may be he wasn't bothered, I wouldn't either ..

    I would prefer having takeaway delivery rather than showing off.
    I believe if your are hungry u will eat anything and doesn't matter where how and with who
    Helping young people in this country or supporting hunger people around the world is much better than eating pice of meat cost me 100 ud
