That would be a great use for that mold. They gotta do something with it, Santa didn't sell well, so they'll probably be looking for something else to do with it, and it is a great mold.
Personally I think the Volvo Optimus’ truck mode looks more like g2 Combat Optimus( Which is what the Sure Shot figure was called in the U.S.) than the Comic-Con figure but that might just be me
The problem with volvo prime he's a lorry/truck cab with a trailer so the alt mode doesn't fit as well, whereas the Hero Optimus Prime/G2 Sureshot was an all in one transformer. the Unreleased blue version is the 'Combat Hero'.
the pax, is a partial of the gamer edition prime, with a fair bit of retooling. the upper legs, and size differences in the front and back wheels are what give it away to me anyway.
Yes, Pyro is in the comic!! he tried to emulate Optimus Prime in any way he could and eventually even altered his physical appearance to resemble Optimus Prime.
also there's already a minimal edit of that megs mold into g2, very minimal. But I do believe it's a nonnef kit, that you can get to make him much much closer to g2/archforce? I could be wrong but AI don't think it's a DNA kit, think its nonnef
Yeah they did the G2 Green with purple and the Green Tiger Stripe Combat version but no purple G2 Megatron/Archforce Heck even a slight re-colour of the G2 Green to get BW Neo Megastorm
