  • @MinecraftSurge

    why would water damage the injectors or the engine? Water is incompressible but so is diesel. If the engine fueled by water instead of diesel it shouldnt change any characteristics. The oil could become water contaminated, but at operating temperature all the water should be evaporating from the oil. Also at compression, the cylinder pressure and temperature, are so high that water would be turning into gaseous form and not contaminating the oil. So the claim that 'the truck might be broken' and require repair is ignorant and poorly informed. Even if the engine oil eventually got contaminated with water, it would increase the wear and tear on the engine, and the engine will still need to get worn for thousands of hours before failure.

      @@user-it3xy2cw1t well bmw engine has a water tank to inject water during high throttle to create cooling. A fuel injector won't waterlogg an engine unless that injector is stuck open or something.

      guessing it works because it controlled spray of water and causing it to evaporate and reducing intake air temperature and increasing the air density
      if alot water does goes in to your engine, thats were problem starts
      it can cause it to Misfire, hydrolock and corrode
      i think is just how much water did get in, a small amount will be most likely fine but alot of water where it starts to have problem
      as for injectors then ikd

    • @MinecraftSurge
      @MinecraftSurge 16 дней назад

      @@user-it3xy2cw1t Even if the injectors shot only water and no diesel it would still not be enough water to cause a problem. The injectors are only firing a limited amount of time, and that means limited quantity of water, it can never put enough water to hydrolock the piston. Hydrolocking only happens when the engine sucks in water through the intake instead of air, and the ratio of incompressible water is so high that the piston stops. It's literally impossible to do that through the injectors.
      Also, when the pistons compress that air and water, the volume shrinks 14 times and the temperature goes up 14 times of the kelvin reading. So the heat in the piston is a thousand degrees, so the water instantly vaporizes and is pushed out the exhaust before it can mix with the oil or do anything harmful. Only way to damage the engine with water is to add it to the crank case in large quantity. or dump it in the intake.
