Nick blew up his own spot. Who watches Dak and says to themselves that's the best QB I've ever seen, he really jumps off the screen? No one says that, not even Jerry Jones. Also, I don't know that Dak is the best player on his team. Ceedee Lamb is pretty good, and so is Micah Parsons.
Did the Chiefs deserve to win? LOL, when you're asking that question you're losing. And no, they didn't. They got a bogus call (clean hit on Mahomes was flagged), then they didn't get a call. No, that doesn't mean you "deserve" a touchdown and a two point conversion. LMFAO.
League MVP if he keeps this up simple as that and if you want to give it to Prescott, he has this week against the Eagles to prove that he has to start beating some good teams can be meeting up on giants and Washington and the patriots
Prescott has Eagles bills and dolphins next. Let’s see what he does
And Nick party has ran Kyle Shanahan system to perfection even though he’s the last pick of the draft, less, not forget the current goat was drafted in the sixth round
Yes, the 49ers are the best team in the NF...L.
"Was Brock Purdy the best player on his team yesterday?" Yes, yes he was. No, Deebo was not. The question is not, "who's the best player at his position?" The question is, "who is the most valuable player on the team?" The way to answer that is to ask yourself, "which player's absence would hurt the team's chances of winning the most?" And the answer is obviously, "BROCK PURDY." This is why MVP candidates are almost always QBs; because QB IS INHERENTLY A MORE IMPORTANT POSITION THAN ANY OTHER. Duh.
The YAC argument was a stone-cold stunner on Nick. Hit him so hard that his rebuttals just sounded like hating
😂😂😂 facts killed em
Thats standard for him. Always hating
Maannnn... 😅😅😅
He should be s*** up. That proves a lot about his backbone "as a pundit". I don't know the guy, I will leave it at that
Nick is such a Purdy hater, even facts about the YAC of previous MVP's doesn't faze his weird bias about Purdy.

Brou's Yard After Catch argument was STUNNING punditry. Well supported FACTS! 👏
Stat graphic of the year from Brou. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a talking point get obliterated that badly.
there goes the dink and dunk argument for those morons who state this all the time
too bad it took him like 2 months to come up with it. nick has been using that argument all year lol.
@valjohnson7112 always one isn't there
Imagine tuas yac stats with tyreek.... he gets schemed wide open in a similar system as purdy yet they act as If tyreek doesn't only run 3 routes then adlib
You can’t even say it was the Niners defense that made Purdy look good with excellent field possession because on their six straight touchdown drives they had an average of 80 yard drives.
Who is saying it was the defense? It’s the best group of skill position players in the NFL by far.
@@northside4767Nick Wright does
How much of those 80 yards on each drive were YAC?

Nick has a serious problem assuming talent that “jumps off the screen” means everything - See also: Brady
Right and his only come back is, he not player on his team.. don't matter he having the best season of all of them
I’ve been saying this all year. Nick wants to constantly talk about the talent of the 49ers, when in hindsight mahomes has had star studded offensive weapons his WHOLE career. He had kelce Kareem hunt and tyrek hill for HOW many years??? And now a last pick of the draft is KILLING IT with the niners it’s the TaLeNt. Nick is a walking contradiction book. I hope purdy wins mvp wins the Super Bowl and wins Super Bowl mvp just to see nicks face.
@@HovaSwerve nahh... Dak can win without CeeDee.. Brock cant win without Debo... Dak can win without Pollard (hasn't been a factor this year) Brock ain't winning without CMC... Dak JAS WON MULTIPLE GAMES WITHOUT TYRON SMITH... Trent go out then what???
The discomfort Nick goes through while trying to deny Purdy's MVP discussion is a thing of beauty
You think Purdy should be MVP?? It really is Jimmy G all over again 😂😂
You don't win MVP by throwing short passes to open people who then break tackles. Think about it. He went into that game with the 6th best odds of winning MVP. Now he's 1st. If that's how the criteria suddenly works, then just give him the award now and be done with this silly propping up.
@@Angrymuffin9988, I am not saying he should, but statistically, he's the top quarterback in the NFL. He's already proven to be better than Jimmy G. It's him, Tua, or Dak. And I personally discount Dak for being one of the least clutch starting QBs in the NFL.
@@Angrymuffin9988 Jimmy G threw pics on 3rd down. Jimmy ran scared with the ball. His timing was off. Are you a Niners fan who endured Jimmy G? No, you probably saw one Jimmy G game. You don't know S*** about Jimmy G bro.

Kevin Wildes has become likeable as time has passed and I am glad they give him more airtime
He been likeable for a long time
Nick has replaced his Brady hate (though to be fair, he softened that after the Bucs superbowl win because he would look foolish continuing to do so) with Purdy hate. And it's pretty much for the same reason. Both Purdy and Brady aren't flashy players. They don't make Mahomes-like throws. They're pretty boring during the game. But they get results. I'm not comparing Purdy to Brady, but Nick's criticism sure seems to be because they're both applicable and curiously similar.
I Love Brady, And I Kinda Strange Over He Want Mahones to be A Better overall Player Than Him Just what Everyone wants or otherwise there kinda Good With Brady being the GOAT despite many things that people in football don't want to openly admit and other Questions Nick wright Not only Hates Brock purdy but he Hates Jimmy G In fact It's Just Nick wright Hates the the Niners as a Team and The team Who Represent QB To Be A Franchise player.

Nick’s letting his emotions get the better of him when talking about Purdy
Whitney Houston's song "So Emotional" was written for him before he was born! Wright gets his lovefest gets ruffled when his Chiefs and LeBron James loses. "Ain't it shocking what love can do!" 😂😂
in fairness, he's clearly not the mvp. nick is wrong in doubting the 49ers because of purdy because i think purdy is clearly good enough to win them the super bowl (even if he ends up not doing so, he's clearly still good enough). but he's not the mvp. he's arguably not the mvp on his own team, no one is arguing tua over tyreek, it would be silly to argue its purdy when they have the best running back, second best tight end, and two elite wide receivers, as well as the best offensive lineman in the league. if purdy gets like a few 5th place votes imo then fine, but dak, lamar, stroud, mccaffrey, and tyreek are all ahead of him. given supporting casts i could argue mahomes over him too, but idrc about that.
He has just really committed to the anti Purdy take, he tries to weigh it a bit by throwing in, well I never said he was bad just not the MVP, but when he gets to arguing every comment is how Purdy is mediocre and just throwing it, and not close to the other teammates. He uses constant negative language about Purdy, then wonders why people think he doesn't like Purdy.
@@ryangaire950 every team who has a mvp runner has weapons around them. otherwise you can't get that much yards. that's a completely invalid argument. mvp has been a qb award for a very long time now, unfortunately. and if you have to pick one of them for 1st place right now, it's clearly purdy. there isn't even space to argue about that

MVP is a popularity contest. It's something for jock-sniffers to obsess over because they're the ones doing the voting. SB rings are real trophies. If I was an NFL QB, I'd take one postseason win over an MVP. I bet a lot of them feel that way.

On top of that the kid has only played 22 regular season games, lets give him some time
That's definitely something Nick doesn't take into account at all. Purdy was thrown into this role out of the blue and has looked like he is a veteran qb. I don't know if I'm ready to say he is MVP, though...but he does carry himself like a one in most games. Also...some of his throws are so accurate that receivers catch them in mid run and are able to continue without losing a step. That will easily add to yards after catch stats.
Agreed from an Eagles fan. I don't get to see all of y'all's games but that was the best I've seen him look and the best I've seen the offense look under any of the QBs Shanahan has had.
We had y'all stumped for the first two drives, but Purdy stayed rock solid, y'all made the right adjustments, and our coaches didn't keep up at all. Brou… you were cooking on this argument! The look on Wildes face after you dropped that YAC stat, looking at Nick, was priceless lol😂
Not surprising. Nick dismisses Purdy kinda like how he dismissed Jokic.
Educated guess: Jokic is melanin-deficient.
Purdy also threw for over 80% completion rating after the first quarter. If we don’t include the first quarter, Brock has a perfect passer rating for the second time this year against the EAGLES. Man is elite
Nick makes so many excuses when Mahomes and the Chiefs lose but torches Purdy and the 49ers no matter what. He’s a hater, simple as that.
What excuse did he make?? 🤡
If it makes you feel better he did the same thing to the eagles in 2017 and last year
@@ryanlomax2005the first thing is that he continuously discredits Purdy for having a supporting cast and claims how it would change if they take those weapons away and does not acknowledge how much Mahomes has come down to earth for literally not having his customary weapons.
right! Turns out every qb in the history of football needed a good coach and good receivers in order to play well.@@franciscopacobarreras9270
@@franciscopacobarreras9270 he led the highest scoring team to a title last year bro
Wildes character turn was the smartest move of his career. Dude is actually likable now
I love when Chris hit Nick with ALL facts
Why no Jordan Love discussion? Despite talking about this game nearly every segment??
Cuz he’s irrelevant just popped on a temporary win streak
Love has been stringing some great games together. If he keeps it up, the talk will start esp since he's the GB qb.
@user-tn8uu2cu8g No
It still disturbs me kansas city didnt want deandre hopkins
I was thinking that right after the game, like Hopkins would've made that catch!!
Brett Vitch really needs to go ever since the release of Fisher and Schwartz
D Hop took the most money. Titans and Patriots were the only offers he considered. He wasn't interested in taking less and playing for KC
I don’t get it either🤷🏿. They should be 10-2 at worse. But oh well🤷🏿
This is a sports show!! I love the passion in the debates 😂
Haha man said bass in my voice, 😅😅😅😂😂😂
The chiefs are NOT winning the super bowl this year. Brady didn’t win it every year…
Neither will Mahomes
Chiefs never been this bad in the redzone than this season.
It just hurts because they were so close to be considered a dynasty. I really doubt Mahomes will ever play around an offense as good as 2018’s, and he’s already peaked.
@@SamuelMills-ez4joI’d argue 2020 and 2021 were worse. I just can’t process how Reid and Vitch know Mahomes isn’t a very good red zone QB so they decide to take away his deep threat weapons.
@@SamuelMills-ez4jo If you are talking about Mahomes era, you may be right. But lets not forget, the early 2010's, and the 1.4 season long drought, without a single TD by a receiver. and the 5 game stretch, with zero redzone td's.
THAN YOU!
Time for everyone to wake up. He may not have the greatest talent regarding size or arm strength… but Purdy makes up for it by executing basically to perfection and excellent anticipation.
The only time a QB has had more than 2 games with 140RAT and 3+ touchdowns in the same season, that QB won MVP.
Purdy did that against the cowboys, Bucs, Jaguars and Eagles.
Joe Montana! I felt like I was watching Joe Montana yesterday 💯
he also has totally underrated arm strength and athleticism. The idea he is some scrub in those areas is completely false. He doesn't have a rocket of an arm but he can make all the throws you need. His ten yard split is the same as CMC. He is super quick in short distances. Its not just his great football mind.
And too think he never beat Iowa
He actually does have everything you said he doesn’t have.
@@tedgraham6548 He def doesnt have ideal size, but you're right he has plenty great arm strength. He's also incredibly accurate, elusive, quick and, most importantly, anticipates throws at an elite level.
That YAC after catch stats was the nail in the coffin for Nick. Brou won this hands down
Is it just me but I can’t see the replays you are showing?
I love Nick, but the idea that he isn't worried about the Chiefs is nuts. He thought this Chiefs team was going to go UNDEFEATED. People don't talk about it because the undefeated season was over after 1 game. Nick thought this was going to be the best team EVER. And now they're 8-4
I still remember his banner 🙄
Umm... 8-4 is still really good. It's the 3rd most wins in the league. He was terribly wrong in predicting they'd dominate. But they can still win the SB - Probably why he's not worried...
Pats went 11-5 and won a SB.
He’s becoming unlikeable
Long time Chiefs fan I have my worries mainly because for 2 weeks in a row the Defense is reverting back to the old Defense.
The Raiders did what they want for 2 quarters last week then we shut them down. this week the Packers had their way for most of the game.
In previous years as the season went on the Defense has gotten better this year, they are starting to show signs of playing worse.
Just hope Nick Bolton is back next week because Drue Tranquill may be out a week or two.
The late hit call against the Packers on Mahomes before he was out of bounds was the worst call of the game
Terrible call, but the DPI was definitely more significant in deciding the game.
All in all, Packers deserved to win. They were the better team last night.
I'm more on board with that than the other ridiculous calls/no-calls in the game. it was a modern-NFL late hit on the QB who is clearly just trying to run out-of-bounds, giving himself up, as it were. the defender could have accomplished the same thing without lowering the shoulder for extra force.
@@paulklingeleNo that’s wrong Mahomes was fighting for the first down and didn’t go out of bounds the defender was right to hit him and shouldn’t have been a penalty.
@@paulklingele wrong
exactly and if he didnt hit mahomes , mahomes would of tip toed the line for an extra 3 yards.... at that point hes running hes not supposed to be looked as a qb either@@michaelacker1617
Sure, it’s the receiver who does the work for YAC/RAC - but ball placement/accuracy is incredibly important to set up those additional yards, and that’s 100% on the QB. That’s why we talk about being about to hit guys “in stride”
@firstthingsfirst when they do "replays" on tv that they show that audience, please show it on here so we can see what they are talking about. for a very long time i have been watching these but continuously never get to see the replays/clips they mention.
nobody sees brock as an mvp because he makes it look so easy. thats really all there is to it.
Great job Nick!
Going down in flames like the Eagles, Brou owns you.
Do it in the playoffs bud bet you can’t 💀 remember 95 was your last ring y’all are no different than the cowboys. Always remember that.

As a niners fan I have been WAITING for this moment so Nick could try and continue to defend his opinion on Purdy after Philly.
I agree, we have been so used to the Chiefs having a high power, high scoring offense and now, they are average at best. The defense keeps them in games when they are on, but when they aren't, they struggle. I have been a Chiefs fan for over 50 years, and have been excited that we are even in the hunt now each year. Go Chiefs!
*PATRICK DOOKIEDUNGHOMES IS THE WORST QB IN NFL AND LOST TO THE PACKERS AND WILL LOSE TO THE BILLS THIS SUNDAY AND FINISH 8-9. ALSO PATRICK DUNGSNIFFERHOMES SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE OCEANGATE SUBMARINE WHEN IT IMPLODED AND WILL COLLAPSE LIKE DAMAR HAMLIN*
The funny thing is how Wright has turned me against the Chiefs. AFAICT they're a classy organization. And I'm old enough to remember all those years where they were perennially in the playoffs and never got to the SB. But Wright's annoying personality is becoming married in my mind to the Chiefs, and especially Mahomes.
Brou cooked Nick so bad with that graphic he threw a tantrum 😭😭
His voice becomes even more squeaky when he gets smacked across the face with facts
Nick so upset Patrick isn’t in the MVP conversation
if purdy cant be mvp because his team is good, then mahomes shouldnt be considered because andy reid might be the best offensive coach ever.
This is a wonderful show. Great debate about Brock at the end
That studio desk shrunk!
They always seem to forget that this is Purdy's 2nd year. And his stats are comparable to or better than 4+ year vets.
Nick's argument is that Purdy's supporting cast is way better than those QBs (including K. Shanahan). I don't have a problem with him being at the top of the MVP discussion, but it's absurd to actually consider him to be better than Herbert (just an example). It's always an apples to oranges comparison.
@@cj7139is it absurd? MVP is a season award. Doesnt matter which player is factually better. Its about who played better this season. Herbert has not been great this season.
@@samjeon3503 You basically just repeated what I wrote and acted like you're arguing/correcting...
I'm here to leave my support to the one only Chief's super fan of the show Kevin Wildes
Actually That Was Nick wright, Kevin wildes is the Patriots super fans.
Can we get the highlights shown when talking about them
Brock Purdy is the last infinity gem on that 49er offense. It's the endgame now
Watched CMC play at Stanford. Every other word from the announcers was CHRISTIANNNNN MCCAFFREEEYY! He did it all.
Dear Wildes,
Love the show. We know you read the RUclips comments, so here I am to petition you- no, I am here to URGE you not to let Nick keep the chiefs atop the tiers after the performances from both the 49ers and the chiefs. Do the right thing for us, Wildes.
Sincerely,
Ryan, Brian, and Tyler (distant third cousin).
Pin this!!!!!!
I have no doubt in my mind that Brock Purdy could care less if he is the MVP recipient. Purdy's concern is centered and focused on his team and leading them to a Superbowl victory.
Why are they in the Undisputed studio?
Brock is the MVP. Nick has no argument for Dak other than vibes.
Exactly. Imagine a Mr. Irrelevant being the top paid QB in the league. Cinderella story.
Loved this Dak Purdy MVP debate! Great job guys
Ngl it’s awesome that these two are the front runners. Nobody could’ve predicted it
Why do the la cameras look better than New York ??
Are they using the old Undisputed desk?
Elephant in the room…. Travis Kelce’s curtain call is close. 34 years old, podcast a major hit, Taylor Swift relationship. Life after football is close for him and the Chiefs are just holding on until he retires so they can replace his cap hit for Patrick Mahomes inevitable second phase of his career
Yeah, I will be sorry to seem him go, but he looks like he is slowing down a bit. Retire. Enjoy your money. Enjoy what's left of your body while you can.
One of the best
I've been waiting all day for this
Does anyone know what happened with the set
Why dont you guys show the clips to which you are referring to
I think everyone besides Nick thinks Purdy is the real deal. It's time to give it up. He made some great throws, and consistently makes great decisions.
Nah i'm deff still on the purdy is NOT him camp.
Dude is still in the most ideal situation a QB could be in.

I sort of disagree. I would love to have longer shows, but that would probably come at the expense of losing quality.
Brou checkmated Nick with the pct of pass yards after catch 😂😂😂😂😂
Great analysis Nik
I agree with Bru...I'm no longer as confident in the KC offense as I was. I'm feeling uncertain when the ball goes long downfield.
Only Harrison Butker and Isiah Pacheco has instilled my confidence this year.
I think we'll be okay on defense when Bolton gets back.
I think MVS will get his mind right, and R.Rice will start to shine brighter.
Still confident in Andy and Pat and Trav to rise to the occasion.
Go Chiefs!
On the road for the first time in the playoffs no super bowl unfortunately
Nick Wright wants to be intellectually honest 😂😂
Sounds comparable to Josh Allen having to play perfect because his defense can’t make a stop in 2 minute drills or ot
Brou cooked him with that yards after catch stats. Also shows how underrated Lamar is.
So great to my team continuing to play great on both sides of the ball! Go Pack Go!
It wasn’t a 7 pt game but 8 pt game. Even if they happen to score (which isn’t guaranteed) they’d have to get the 2 pts which they failed to get earlier in the game then the game would be tied and they’d have to win in OT.
In my opinion, intelligence is one of the most important attributes a great QB must possess in order to be successful. Montana was not physically gifted but he knew how to read the defenses and pass to the open receivers. I see a similar situation with Purdy. Sure he is not physically gifted etc etc but more than makes up for it with his intelligence and that is why he will be successful. I am so grateful that the Niners finally found a franchise quarterback after all these years.
This typically of mentality is misleading. While Purdy is playing well, he’s also surrounded by a group of super stars. The impression that some QBs are more intelligent because of the way they appear.
@@SiDung-qg7rn He's talking about intangibles, things you can't quantify in a box score. And he's right, that's why Brady is the GOAT. He's never had the best arm, the best accuracy, the best athleticism, etc. But he has been a great leader, he doesn't fold when it's crunch time, etc. I think Purdy is similar. He's not flashy but he possesses a calmness about him.
Purdy has 2 strong attributes. Reading defenses and accuracy. Knowing where to throw the ball and being able to get it there on time.
