- I Tattooed My Eyeballs Black And Don't Regret It. Orylan tattooed her eyeballs black and tattooed most of her body. She says her eyeball tattoos didn't hurt but recommends people don't do it unless they have a professional do it. She plans on doing more tattoos in the future but wants to challenge prejudices people have about her as she opened up about extreme body modifications and tattoos. Orylan has a pretty dramatic before and after with a very compelling story about why she decided to do it.

Going this far to spite your ex who isn't even around any more is a sign you should probably see a psychologist.
It's not about spite at all. It's more likely about trauma and reclaiming your own autonomy. As someone who was sexually abused in my youth and had a very controlling family who ignored my mental health issues, getting tattooed and dying my hair black symbolized me breaking free from how my family wanted me to be/look, breaking free from the man that abused me, the brainwashing he put me through, and entering an era where I am now aware of the trauma I suffered.
Looking at photos of me from that time in my life reminds me of the darkness and quiet suffering I was experiencing. It reminds me of my abuser and how angry I was that no one helped me and instead focused on me looking the part of the perfect blonde daughter. It's extremely painful.
It is worth seeing a therapist for the PTSD for sure, I personally do. But calling it spite is awfully shallow. Being a trauma victim is complicated and we have to have compassion for people like her.

@lenababyyy1482 exactly I've never seen the purpose of shaming or punishing people for whatever coping mechanisms they develop, even if they're unhealthy ones. Therapists can teach you knew, productive ones but ime they don't want you to feel bad or embarrassed about how you have coped in the past. All we can do is our best, with the tools we have at the time. Me changing the way I look isnt necessarily productive in the long run but it did help me self soothe during a difficult time in my life and thats valid. It's normally lay people and those who haven't ever experienced mental illness who pass judgements on how someone's trauma has shaped them and it's tragic because people that are suffering deserve our love and patience even when their actions seem to make no sense to us.

1) she couldn’t make it up her flight of stairs to even go to the washroom
2) was paralyzed and told by doctors that she’d never walk again (she did!)
3) couldn’t form coherent thoughts/sentences
4) to this day has multiple blood clots in her lungs & low lung capacity (you can hear it whenever she speaks)
5) and she also has a cyst in her brain that the doctors are closely monitoring.

I think she needed therapy for the issues caused by the previous relationship before embarking on her tattoo journey. She is still driven by the issues from that relationship.

Yes you are right. I'm familiar with Orylan's story and she has endured a lot of trauma in her life but since she has become an adult she is continuing to expose herself to being damaged due to her risky behaviour and her choice in how she chooses to make a living. Mind you if one gets all of this hideous work done to themselves it limits one's options in what career they can potentially have. Orylan was a beautiful looking girl prior to annihilating the beauty God bestowed ipon her but it is her choice just like it's her choice if she decides to become a mother. That in itself is why ladies and gentleman you should sit doen and have a long hard think about having body modification anything like this done because I guarantee as the sun rises tomorrow morning those children of hers are going to endure relentless torment ny their peers and adults.
Orylan knows my feelings with what she has done to herself and I'm pretty sure she didn't have the thought process of what it would be if she were to become a mother. Again it's her risky behaviour that has got her here.
These young women don't realize they will not be the same person as they age. We all change as we age. She will regret these modifications, it's a matter of time.
To be honest mums been saying that to me since I was 16 years old I’m a year off forty and I’m still having tattoos I enjoy them they can be incredible pieces of art or memories for people who have passed peace and love xxxx

Currently working on my back and planning to work on my torso area and chest. I would love to get my hands and neck done but that would be hard for me to cover with clothes. So I'm temporarily passing on that maybe when I retire. Plus I'm almost 40 years old myself 😊

I watched an interview with this girl. Shes very young. But she kept obsessing over not wanting to look like everyone else. She kept repeating that throughout her interview. She's obsessed with how the world perceives her. Shes also a sex worker, so she makes a living on her appearance. I think she craves attention, which is very sad but pretty typical. I think she just wants to be loved. I hope she finds that.
I think the sex worker part is her having “control” over men and not the other way around. Her looks probably caused her to be taken advantage of one too many times. So now she keeps people away with all the tats, etc.
I saw another interview with her recently. She spoke about being addicted to inhaling nitrous oxide. She gained over 60 lbs from it and almost died. She tried to self delete. She was even paralyzed from her neck down at one point. Thank God she’s doing much better now. She’s definitely battling a lot of demons

This is sadly like a reverse metamorphosis. It’s like a butterfly becoming a caterpillar.
She sounds like me when I was still in my unhealed stage. I could have ended up just like her, but thankfully I got around the right people towards the end of 2018 and my life changed. I was molested as a child, so I know how she feels all too well. I also was in terrible relationships that took several years for me to and modified my body to the point where I would scare people off. I say this respectfully because I used to work in a recording studio for several years and if you did not have a certain look you wouldn't get ahead in the business. I will pray for her, and pray that she finds a way out of darkness that trauma has caused for her.

I just read up on butterfly mating because I love butterflies and couldn’t find butterflies eating each other anywhere. Dancing yes, pheromones, even occasionally fighting each other but no eat each other. I think she’s got it mixed up with the praying mantis who bites off the head of its mate. Eyeball tattoos are so dangerous. I sure hope the risk of blindness was worth the risk of looking completely different because your ex was so obviously abusive. For anyone thinking of this- get counseling. Most of her tattoos are totally fine (although the reason she got them doesn’t make sense) but the eye tattoos are dangerous and if she’s doing body modification just “to look different because of my ex” that’s a terrible reason. Get help. Talk to a professional. You should never change who you are (uncles it’s to get a degree and improve your life) because of your ex. I know you shouldn’t judge people on their looks but they do. What sort of job can she get? Her job prospects are severely limited now. I mean it’s work in a tattoo shop or on instagram etc. And if she gets an eye infection the tattoo job is gone (that’s assuming she can draw).

Her tattoos are so well placed and so cohesive. I've noticed that a lot of guys don't plan out their style and placement very well but a lot of women do a great job.

People are allowed to have preferences/likes...whether anyone else likes it or not...and it's OKAY that not everyone wants to look into the eyes or stare at someone with that appearance. It's OKAY...but don't say the world should think any other way.

The problem with this kind of body dysmorphia is you think that every modification that you make is going to make you happier, but in fact, it does not and that usually deepens the depression however they aren’t showing that aspect here

Seeing a therapist would have been better than ruining your future jobs and relationships with facial tattoos. When you have a bad boyfriend, you learn from that, break up with them, and move on. It's called growing up and making better choices. Doing this has limited your choices for pretty much everything for the rest of your life. This is a pretend demon costume you can't take off.
Be your individual self. Self love that's the key people. Who ever thinks she needs mental health treatment, needs to be more understanding and love yourself more.
