A Tuk-Tuk ride to see Dar es Salaam at night in East Africa's Tanzania (and saving $30 on a taxi)

I needed to get from Dar Es Salaam airport to a bus pick up point to take a bus to Tanga on the Northern Tanzanian coast. Instead of paying $30-$35 for a metered taxi for this, I decided to do what the locals do and take a Tuk-Tuk for around $2.5 and it was so much more fun.
