they sold out of pre orders im trying to get my own pcb board once they are taking more pre orders
darkanubiss89 I wish there was some kind of notification system for it!
ETA PRIME Go follow their forums, both Wery and Helder have been updating frequently, and they also have a way of notification through email.
Stranger: "dude what are you doing?"
Me: *"charging my altoids"*
More like / guy:hey what ya bring to lunch me: oh just MARIO!!!
When ur altoids run out of battery😔
Just want to throw this out there so people who watch this know, MintyPi is a project designed by Wermy and Helder of sudomod, wermy himself has a youtube channel with a full guide on how to make one of these yourself (helder is the one who designed and sells the custom pcb/electronics needed to build a mintypi). I am not endorsed or affiliated with either of them its simply a project Ive been following for awhile and wanted to make sure that people know who designed and originated this item.
DemonicDragonX5 link to sudomod is in the description also if anyone want to get a kit when they are available again. I missed it but I will definitely a kit when the pre order goes live again.
DemonicDragonX5 Absolutely correct! And in addition we partner with them directly for the parts and supplies to build them! We have been part of the sudomod community for a long time! Anybody looking to build your own or just get involved with this awesome community should head over to sudomod.com!!
RGN Pro Systems do you guys sell any prebuilt ones?
FYI the boards are currently available for order again along with a safe shut down and battery monitor board. Wermy at SudoMod asked that if people sell them that they don't use Wermy's promo images which RGN are. On a side note this is is a very fun project to build and the SudoMod community are super helpful, I also made the official startup splash screen used in this project.
very cool but the price is totally insane
You can make one yourself for
Took me a mouth and a half but FINILY I was to get the custom PCB and build my Mintypi!
I have any question, can you pair a wireless keyboard and run raspbian on these? It's because I want to use this like a Retro / Computer machine
I got the green one too ;) nice video!
Do you think we can connect a bluetooth keyboard and muse to its and also can we transfer tge roms to it by wifi insted of the usb port ? Thank you :)
No way!! I need one because it's just so badass!
I love these thank you for making them
Why when you click on the RGN website link it says that the website doesn't exist?
I like how the tin has a *Best By* date still printed on
Looks neat, maybe you can contact them to get the 3D files for the minty pi 3D printed inserts?
u can get the parts at sudomod pretty easily, messed up my first batch, second on the way.
Saw this on wermy Channel, then here you are. nice! Another part of your giveway soon. :) #NotifSquadPh
Hello! Are the buttons 'hard and tactile' or soft like Gameboys? I'm looking for soft buttons for my project but i only get the hard, clicky, momentary buttons - I prefer the soft ones. Any recommendations?
well i want to build this soon and i looked from the original creator, "Wermy" is his channel name and he says to use ds lite buttons.
if they are DS Lite buttons, they're soft. I think the DSI had the clicky buttons....
The D-Pad and action buttons are membrane buttons so they are "soft" but the shoulder buttons are tactile so they are "clicky"
349 holy shit thats expensive for that rgn unit. I dont mind paying extra for custom and built but damn.
Oh stop. Lets put down the violin for a second. You act like no one values the time in building products. I work my ass off to be under appreciated just to support my family. I am also in the process of building a software product and yeah its tough. You have to look at it through the eyes of a customer. What we see at the end of the day is a product and we have to put a value on it. Simple as that.... As an outsider looking in...you may want to cut down on your build time. You apparently have a flawed solution if you have to spend 45 hrs soldering components in a unit. Raspiboy kit has a genius build system. Hand built in 20 minutes. Yes the case is not as nice as yours but if you were able to take their genius build with your genius case.....you may have something. Super short build process that will allow you to concentrate more on the cosmetic build of the case. Then you could sell units at 5 to 1 at a lower price and still make more money.
Who ya talkin too?
@@jimmay3470 clearly this guy is trying to support this product...
Can you use an orange pi for it?
They will be adding a safe shut down pcb to it as well
How did you get another USB port? I thought the USB was used for a sound card.
Gabe Janssen it have sound.
Why is it always so expensive to get one of these awesome handhelds? Might have to just stick with my modded psp at this point.
hey eta prime I have a problem with my retro pie I can not get Nintendo 64 games to work can you do a video where you set u0 just n64 in detail please I really want n64 to work
level1online thx
level1online can u give me the link
Christian Castro I can do a video tomorrow on it. What happens when you launch an N64 game?
Where can I find the screen for it
Go to wermy on yt
Cool
Link doesn't work to buy one :-(
Hi, I would like to see a Pi3 handheld, I'm looking for one with a good controller like RasPi Boy
Briko check out DrewTalks Channel he made one
ruclips.net/video/5mCKVIiTx34/видео.html i also have a how to video ruclips.net/video/6-MikMTHinA/видео.html
Hi ETA, I watched this video, I love your idea of a Pi3 handheld you made but I think it has only one problem, it doesn't have a case, if it had one it would be perfect. Anyway I'll keep your idea in my mind for building one in a near future.
PD: sorry if my English is bad :D
$349 😕 they are almost as bad as those NES mini resellers on ebay.
Faisal Rahman toake one it cost.100
349 that a lot and it Cant play PlayStation or n64 not worth the money
You can build it yourself for 130
wermy is awesome
Can you show us how to get roms on this?
Here
When they think you have altoids but in reality you have a mini gaming console
Put a 0 2w in it now
How do u save the game?
It is plug and play???
It’s a raspberry pi portable
I want to buy this :)
Toneri Ōtsutsuki have you got $350 to buy one?
Yeah
There not 350 if you buy the kit, if you go on the forums you will be able to snag the custom PCB and LCD if you get your timing right, and if you buy all the parts it isnt that bad 150 or under
I know Sudo Mod I made a build video pretty expensive to build that I think
yeah all the parts add up quick.
ETA PRIME hopefully one day I will build this thank you
for what u get its worth it, its only a little over 100$ when all added up.
AF5000 thank you 👍
Your welcome, I forgot to say, that doesent include a soldering iron, multimeter, or screwdrivers, but those are cheap depending on what you get, I use a 10$ weller one, and a multimeter is pretty cheap second hand.
how expensive is the whole build?
Probably 50+ us dollars
From $90-$130 USD if u home make it
did wermy sent you this?
Can u send a me a copy of that thing?
bhai make mini laptop
That does not look comfortable at all. It looks like you either have to rest the middle of your thumbs right on top of the rim of the can, or keep them elevated the whole time you play. Does anyone have this and can tell me thats not how it will be?
Who else thought it was a sudowermy video 🤔
No analog stick that wack
It’s a pi 0
Cool
