    Today I am sharing a delicacy from Himachal pradesh served in Kangri Dham. Teliye maah is a quick recipe which can be made with in half an hour. The literal meaning of teliye maah shows the influence of the main ingredient in the recipe i.e., Mustard oil. Urad dal is cooked in mustard oil and spices.
    This is a must try Himachali recipe if you want to try himachali food.
    Ingredients -
    Urad dal - 1 cup
    Water for overnight soaking.
    Oill 1/2 cup (or you can reduce it to 1/4 cup)
    2 Cinnamon sticks
    2 black cardamoms
    2 cloves
    2 green cardamom
    1 tbsp Cumin seeds
    1 tbspTurmeric powder
    1 tbsp red chilli powder
    Salt to taste
