Thanks Jill! OK, I am truly smitten with "peyote with a twist"! I did find that using a dowel to hold the tube while beading really helped me keep the bead work snug and with consistent tension without crushing the tube. Your instructions are impeccable and your hints very helpful. I have not been able to master bead crochet, so this is a wonderful alternative for me! I truly appreciate your video tutorials!
Thank you so much for making this easy to follow. I've been at my crafting table for hours trying to figure out that weird little step. Even with a printed pattern I just couldn't get it. Now, I can't wait to try again.
Thanks Jill for your awesome video. You are a great teacher. I had no problem watching this on my computer and was able to increase the size to full screen. The clarity and color of the video are great.
Looks like an interesting technique. I am glad you will re-do this video. It was only visible in the center third of the screen and sometimes your left hand was off screen a bit. You are one of the best beading teachers out there. I have learned so much from you. Thanks for all you do.
Hi Jill, this looks very interesting and also not too complicated. I will try this soon and cannot wait to do so. I was able to follow your video just well. Thank you so much. Greetings from Germany!
Thank you so much for all the information, Jill, especially about what size end caps to use/buy for the different sizes of beads. That's one of the pieces of information that is sometimes difficult to find and I appreciate you sharing that information so I know what size to buy from your site when I'm ready to start learning this technique! It looks super fun! Your explanations were very clear and easy to follow. Can't wait to try this!
I tried 8/0 - did not work as it does not fold like on Jill's tutorial. Did very well with 11/0 but takes forever! Yes, Jill please do tell us what size beads to use. Thanks
Thank you for this video. I was struggling with the instructions for this new stitch. After watching your video, it all clicked and seemed so easy. I am working on a patterned piece now. It would be super helpful to include how to do the double seam in your next video. You make
Thanks For making this complicated stitch look really fun, and forcing me to bust out my beads!!! I’ll be heading all night🤣😂😆😆. Great video as always. My wheels are spinning!! I also really like the orientation on this video. Made it a lot easier to watch on my iPhone.
Car Zie Just touch the little square that appears on the right bottom corner of the screen. I hace a samsung I don't know how the screen looks on iphone.
This is a great tutorial. Could you please do another, showing the double seam, or double join? And could you do one showing how to follow a pattern? There's great info about them, but I'm a visual learner, and your amazing videos make things so much easier to understand. And on this video, it really helped when you showed the seconds view, working towards your body at the join. Thank you!
Donna, I’m holding out hope that Jill will come through for us and continue to be our PWAT beading guru. I’m obsessed with this technique and will trudge on with the simple even-count patterns.
Thank you very much for this, so well explained, as usual. I finally got the knack of bead crochet last year, after many attempts, but it is good to know an alternative technique. This kind of spiral design is relatively easy in bead crochet; my difficulties start when I try to do a more intricate pattern, because a mistake in threading the beads is difficult to correct. So my question is: is it possible to adapt one of the wonderful bead crochet patterns out there to the PWAT technique? I would love to see a tutorial on this.
Jill.....love this and just trying to make it with 11 0 delicas. When you get to ~8 min 15 seconds, I cannot get the beads to flex enough to fold it like a cannoli. Any ideas on what I can do to remedy this? Do you need to use real loose stitches? Great to know you'll be doing a longer horizontal oriented version of this technique in the future. Thanks for always making things soooooo understandable. Your tutorials are the best!
Thank you for this video and for making a fullscreen video of it later. Is the 'funky turn' a brick stitch? Might be easier for some who know that one to hear they have to brick stitch it to make that turn :)
Thanks Jill. Can you also please show how to connect a PWAT bangle? There’s a lot in my beading FB group that would be very interested to learn. Thansk very much.
TFS! Love the look. Will you be demo'ing Peyote with a Twist in odd-count? I'd like to be able to have more accent rows than the 1 made on the 2 outside ends of the flat peyote, Eg. an accent color down the center of the odd-count when still flat. Really like the look of this, but I like lots of color and contrast.
Yes, in the interests of getting this technique out in video form as soon as possible, I did this video on my iPhone. I'll be re-shooting it next week in the studio with my regular video setup. :-)
Hi everyone, I’m new to this technique of beading. What kind of needle and thread do you use and where can I purchase them? Would love to start making these.
Jill, can you please do a tutorial on the double seam on PWAT patterns? I'm having trouble figuring out these double seamed patterns (basketweave 18 is a good example).
I'm having a problem seeing the whole picture...black on each side and is cutting off part of your video. Anyone know how to get rid of the black sections on both sides. Sorry for the negative comment, but I'm not sure it's my computer or the video is supposed to look like this. Thanks!
Once again, you've saved us from complete and total confusion with something that's actually quite simple. A huge thank you to you and Gerlinde!

Muchas gracias por tan buena explicación, estuve buscando mucho tiempo una persona a la cual logrará entender tan bien como a ti
Thank you Jill, it has been something I have made a mess of but thanks to you I can now(hopefully) get it right.
Thank you Jill. Your videos are the best!
I'm loving this one. Welcome back Jill as I too have missed your tutorials.
Gosh this is exciting. Peyote is my favourite and this just "kicked it up a notch".

So love the way you explain things! You have the best tutorials!! Thanks Jill♥️
Just found PWAT stitch! How fun! Your directions and video were great. I am well on my way to a new addiction!!!!
Hi Jill that looks amazing so now to get out more beads and try this out ! Thanks again for your great tutorials.
That's really cool! Thanks Jill! Been missing your tutorials!
Thanks Jill as always a super video
Love!Love! Thank you for sharing G's peyote with a twist technique!
OMG Jill, thank you, I've been so confused that I didn't want to even start!!

I look forward to see how we follow a pattern. Thank you for teaching us.

Tracy Hudgins Hi Tracy, how do you do a pattern with this stitch? Please and thank you!
thank you for a really good tutorial about twisted peyote!
you are the best teacher, thank you , thank you
Great video but I also wish it was a full video, I couldn't see some of the stitches which I feel would help me. Thank you for making this video.

Thank you Jill I've been waiting for this one
I love your instructions!!! Just wish I could have full screen cause my eyes are old! Lol
my sentiment exactly!
Car Zie Just touch the little square that appears on the right bottom corner of the screen. I hace a samsung I don't know how the screen looks on iphone.
I just turned my screen sideways and got a full screen!

Donna Page thank you for making this request...I would love Jill’s help with the double seam procedure, too.
Fran Faust Jill hasn't responded, but I'm still hoping. It does get easier to understand the more you do. I still haven't tried a double seam yet
Donna, I’m holding out hope that Jill will come through for us and continue to be our PWAT beading guru. I’m obsessed with this technique and will trudge on with the simple even-count patterns.
Donna Page you video is not moving
Very nice. Thank you for sharing.

Bawhaha I call them sticky outies too! Thanks for the tutorials, I’m ready to try this technique out!
My Jove I I think I have got it. Thanks Jill!
Thank you for the tutorial BUT please set your camera on Landscape that way we don't keep loosing half the picture.
Hi Jill! Can't wait to drag out my beads and try this! I was wondering if you had tried this with Delicas?
Thank you for this great tutorial. Could you show how to join/add thread in your next video, please? X
Thanks for all you doo!
Very Beautiful Thanks .
How long has this stitch been around? I'm fascinated how this was developed. I love the look.
not long! check out Gerlinde's fb group
😱Wesome😁👏👍

I think you have to use seed beads, not delicas. Delicas don't have the flexibility you need.
Thank you for this video and for making a fullscreen video of it later.
Is the 'funky turn' a brick stitch? Might be easier for some who know that one to hear they have to brick stitch it to make that turn :)
How many beads around is this considered, what is single or double column seam? When will you be doing some more video's on this.
Thanks Jill. Can you also please show how to connect a PWAT bangle? There’s a lot in my beading FB group that would be very interested to learn. Thansk very much.
Is the number of rows peyote before joining always one more than the number of beads you start out with? Thanks for you tutorials! 🐾🐾
Please please so one showing us how to follow a pattern. I have not been able to find one anywhere. Thanks you for all you do
TFS! Love the look.

WOOOOW! Thanks!
Is that a new camera. The video is Crystal clear. Missed you.
My iPhone!!!
Wow. That is amazing quality.
Merci pour votre tutoriel. J’aimerai faire un bangle sans fermoir pour un bracelet. Comment faire? Pouvez vous nous montrer?
Have you done a video that shows us how to read and do a pattern of peyote with a twist?
It looks really great have a few ideas in mind already. Just one question is it my computer is is the view monitor on your end very narrow
Yes, in the interests of getting this technique out in video form as soon as possible, I did this video on my iPhone. I'll be re-shooting it next week in the studio with my regular video setup. :-)
thank you thought something was wrong with my computer and tablet.
that will be great!
Nice!
Why must one go back and forth, flipping the piece, rather than around and around?
I am having a problem with the Pwat being so squishy goes flat. Am I not doing it tight enough. Help
I'm having a problem seeing the whole picture...black on each side and is cutting off part of your video. Anyone know how to get rid of the black sections on both sides. Sorry for the negative comment, but I'm not sure it's my computer or the video is supposed to look like this. Thanks!
Hi Jill, can this be done with 15/0 Beads?
What happened to full screen hard to watch
Keep the piece on camera please.
How to use this stitch with pattern?
Great tutorial. Will you be doing a pattern
Screen shot is odd, out of screen shot alot. Nice if you would refilm
You camera is missing the beads.
It is hard to see what you are doing because you don't have your hands even with the center of your camera.
You were off screen a lot and it was hard for me to follow.
:)
