Hello again Gena ,I watched this awhile back . I decided to finally give this a try because I have been afraid to .😟 Well after rewatching this video for about the tenth time . I think I have finally gotten it , Hallelujah ! 😄 Thank you again for such a beautiful bracelet design and taking your time to share it . 😊💖
I love, love LOVE this pattern Gena! Such a simple pattern, but has such a gorgeous finished effect. Thank you for doing the 3 tutorials. Question for you.... Do you have a tutorial for the ring that you are wearing in this video? It's absolutely gorgeous!
@@genahopkins3242 PLEASE let me know if possible, if and when you do post a tutorial for the ring, or even if you have a written pattern for the ring. I'll be happy to purchase it. Thanks in advance.
I love this pattern, Gena! I spent a good part of the day figuring out the sequence of the first 11 rows before the join. Is it OK to post it here? The rope is slimmer than I would like. In order to increase the circumference would I increase the rows? I'm in the process of trying out this pattern with 8/0...so far so good. It's about twice the circumference of my 11/0 sample but I'll have to see how it looks when I reach the correct length.
Gena, Thanks for the tutorials. Am I right thinking that as I continue to go up and down I will do less white and more color as I go around I would make it back to the white? I guess I am a little confused - your white is quite pointed and you did add one on the stack closest to the gold.
Karen W yes. I have found that it is very helpful to train your eyes to see the beads stacking in the diagonal lines. This will give you confidence to know what bread comes next.
I would also love to learn how to convert bead crochet patterns! Not a member of Facebook so I don’t know how to learn these things from Gerlinde, so if you could help it would be greatly appreciated. And I really enjoyed your three part series (I’m beading the bracelet now)-thank you so much!
Cyndie Stamps converting from bead crochet to peytwist is not something that could be explained here in the comment section. I'm not aware that anyone has attempted to do a video tutorial on it. I'm certainly not an expert on this conversion and don't feel comfortable doing one at this time. Sorry!!
I will be praying for you. May your world recover. You are a marvelous Beader! You have a wonderful talent. Sometimes I feel that I can’t bead two beads together without directions. Focus on something, I.e. beading, hiking...whatever makes you at peace. Bless you, sweetie.
I am so sorry to bother you again. In the video you get to the last row you show which was two white beads. The next row you be only one white ..where do you pick up the whites again. Maybe if you had down a few more rows it would help.
Hi Gina. Wonderful tutorial!! But I am stumped!! I know how to do Peyote pretty well but for the life of me I cannot figure out the order of rows 1 and 2 of the beads. I know you start out with 20. I’ve started with 20 beads with bead 1 being a metallic and beads 2 thru 9 being a mix and beads 10 and 11 being metallic and beads 12 thru 19 being the solid color with bead 20 ending the row with a metallic. Is this correct? I am getting ready for my 7th try and I’m just stumped!! I know we are always adding 4 Peyote beads of the solid color each time and the color blend changes going up and down to make the pattern with the metallic being a row of its own in the middle. I can zip it up with No problems but then I get lost because I don’t think my pattern is the same as yours. I am using totally different colors than you and my metallic is a gold one. And your tutorial on how to continue once the spiral is zipped up is really clear and good but without the bead combination of the first two rows - I am just lost. I know you don’t do patterns yet but I sure would appreciate your help on starting this pattern. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And please keep teaching! You are a natural at it...!! You stay in frame and your voice is calm and inspiring and your techniques are so helpful. Thank you so much. Susie in Idaho.
Susan Chamblee thanks for the encouragement. Time permitting I will try and do a tutorial on the start and post thus weekend do stay tuned to my channel.
Thank you Gena. I can’t wait 🤗 I have already completed a PWAT bracelet from the Jill Wiseman tutorial but it doesn’t have a pattern like yours. I will be so excited to see it and I will definitely stay tuned to your channel for your next video!! Susie

Wow...I dunno how many of these videos I watched about the twist lol but I finally got it. Thank you so much 🤗
You're welcome
How do you get it to curve into the bangle shape? Mint always want to ce straight!
Make sure you are using seed beads and not cylinder beads like delicas. Keep your tension not too tight, and you should be good to go!

Susan King the pattern is quite simple, 4 white rows, 1 metallic row, 4 multicolor rows, and 1 metallic row.

If your mix has at least 4 colors, you should be ok for a random look. Also, the repeat of colors would happen in a random mix!
are you using size 11? seed beads
Yes, they are 11/0 Toho
What is the next step plz?
